So arguably their main project and the efforts to get the grid connection and all associated fees and paperwork and you think they haven’t considered who owns the land or how they will acquire the land to get the project to shovel ready stage and start exporting.
I’m sorry but I can’t believe that’s true. You have said previously the value of the land lies in the grid connection as much as anything else, if that’s only been granted to the company, the land owner can set a premium for the land, but it’s not going to be worth as much to anyone else... a deal to be done but nothing that won’t have been discussed and presumably agreed before they got to this stage.
Just bought back in on that dip and got a free 12,000 shares for my troubles . Appy days
Well if nothing else this will show the company how much all shareholders are hung up on Burwell. Maybe it will push them to get it sorted or clarified ! it has been imminent for months and months !
Very annoying that the rumour moves this share far more than real news.. also I thought you were supposed to buy on rumour (lol). B
AudibleEnergy, you make a very good point. A few weeks ago I mentioned that the land was going through a sale process and the lease could not be signed (with the new owner) until the sale went through. At that point it was my opinion that the company were unaware about the land sale. We then got an rns telling us about the land sale (perhaps they checked)?
Now, if I were Corcel my first question to the land owner would be, how much are you selling the land for ? Then I would think, why dont we buy it ourselves?
Then the landowner must have realised he is sitting on a cash machine. Hang on, I should keep the land and lease it myself and have the income. It must be worth a lot to these other guys.
All my ramblings but it makes sense. I even asked for the price to buy it myself but did not get a reply ! I still think all will be ok. Whoever owns the land will want the grid connection.
Certainly spooked me
Torreaguas, sorry to ask again, but you didn’t reply to the question... Where has your rumour come from?
It’s crazy that you asked Corcel a question in the last few hours and you got a reply from them immediately too, I’ve not known a company so quick at responding to shareholders
As others have said, odd that the director would buy in bulk with bad news just around the corner.
Tor, I think you have spooked everyone. Did you notice the selling started very soon after you sent up that flare. B
Well i sold at 1.984
Am i weak, maybe, but cannot afford to lose money, will sit on the sidelines and wait,
Very interesting rumour Torreaguas. What a coup d'état, if Corcel, were to offer the landowner shares in a money making machine exchange for land?
The thing is it has taken sooo long for Burwell to be signed off there is obviously an issue somewhere. We just dont know what it is. How long has this lease issue been going on for now? It is a good job we have many other things to look forward too.
Maybe flushing careful holders too, if true this will tank imo
Flushing out weak holders... Rather successfully...
This needs a rns to clarify the situation asap.
The sudden selling earlier might have been triggered by a rumour or two?
If that was the case why would the gaffer buy hundreds of thousands of shares in the last couple of days
I did check with the company and they say as far as they know the last rns is still correct. I believe my post is correct but you never know. It may not make a difference anyway as it does not mean the lease is not going ahead whoever owns the land.
Needs clarification though.
Dangerous to leave statement like that on a chat board without any evidence/justification...
Smells like news whatever it might be..
where did you hear the rumour from?
I hope you are wrong as this stock does not take kindly to bad news however well it is dressed up. I am sure the bod would know if your rumour was true and would have to contradict the imminent message
I hope I am wrong on this but I have heard the land owner at Burwell is no longer selling. If true is the lease still going ahead with Corcel? Or is that cancelled too? Email going in !
Same pattern as yesterday… buys in the morning and sells at lunchtime and a bit of both in the afternoon. News is imminent…. FOMO not here yet. B
True…. Blue is better than red. B
At least it ain't dropping
Still very quiet. B
