You're never happy; aren't you?
Always trying to beat the MM's at their game.
I've got to be honest with you, you would have probably by now missed your 13.15p last entry opportunity offered earlier on today.
I mentioned early on today that there was according to interactive brokers an average of 3million shares that got put into today trading and by now probably successfully used to get cpi down towards 13p imho.
I shall update later once I see that amount returned back to the lenders.
14p appears to be the top of the short term range just as 17p was in Q3 until the breakout to 20p+. From that 17p it fell to the 15s before it took off. If the same were to happen again then it will likely fall to high 11s at the bottom. Think I will be looking to buy around 12p.
Chaps can someone please translate that RNS. Is it that he gets shares if the sp hit 20 p odd

Hi Kipper9
At least the new Ceo wasn't afraid to throw himself not only once but twice in the deepend of the share price collapse. He might do it again and impress us all with a final and third purchase.
Anyhow, if it interests you at all, today on my interactive brokers pro account its showing that since the last ten days where the average availability of cpi stock to borrow was around a daily volumes of aprox. 10.5million shares from 4 lenders, for the first time today its showing available to short from probably the same 4 lenders only 7.5million shares.
What does that mean to us retail punters?
I believe it means that someone decided to borrow 3million cpi shares to short in today's trading day.
Remember that it costs only 0.75% in interests charges.
Is that the reason that we dropped so low today again?
All my p/f in the red today, apart from my flying bats. So partly why we'er off
Getting royally rogered with my DEC in particular.
I believe the fine, if any,is unknown but that the 25m would cover future security. Then there is the Ambulance chasing class-action litigation to contend with. I'd like to think though that the worse case scenario is priced in.
Also the issues capitalizer raised on Saturday regarding onerous contract provisions that don't seem to be a cash balance ring fenced already.
@bubb, disagree this is the fault of the new CEO; he's just dealing with the mess left behind by the last guy
Maybe he's just trying to catch a falling knife like the rest of us 'stormtroopers'.
Or building a position based on what he knows, and we skint little people don't.
Havent we accounted for this via the 25m or would any fine be extra?
The ICO should get a move on re the hacking debacle. The uncertainty does us no favours. The market (and us) need to know the extent of any fine ASAP. A good outcome would give the SP a well-needed boost.
The chon is a relatively unknown area in the nether regions.....
@Trisor
I don't think it will go bust with revenues at £3bn a year but it does need to cut fat and create profit ..... Which is part of AHs plan.
I'm in this very deep too and it would be the mother of all tax deductible Capital Losses for me - if it went bust.
However - the City doesn't seem to have the same faith as you and I and are driving the price down accordingly.
Just got to sit tight and look for opportunities to reduce exposure here when the price is right!
Oops 😬

Exactly Kipper9
Well said.
It's just MM'S giving it on the plate to the bargain hunters. The MM'S are hoping to knock the faith of the ones holding the shares from higher up levels. If they were to sell up, they would make a huge loss, whilst the MM'S will be laughing all the way to the bank as they go on reselling it to the bargain hunters for sweeties money. Unfortunately, only the cool heads will be able to sustain the non stop attack on the cpi stock..
So, toughen up and live and learn and take it in the chon and wait for better days.
MW shorts have not being updated since last Friday.
We might see today or tomorrow a possibility that they've reduced or most likely closed off completely their ever so long lasting open short.
To keep an open short, the borrowing interest rate going to the lenders of cpi stock is about 0.75%.
'Plain 'ol manipulation' . You can say that again Kipper9 ! Kitchen sink it at first Results presentation thus Trashing the SP to all time lows then buy a shed load at bargain basement prices with one week's salary. Nice little earner Rodney!!!
Think I just saw the millenium falcon jump into hyper space. Someone is in trouble.
MW still showing on short interest tracker
@Trenners -Ill be totally f'd if it goes bust. Is this really a possibility? Surely revenue is reasonably nailed on in a business like this and its just cutting costs which should go to the bottom line.
Same thing might also be happening with VOD
I just don't see the new CEO, together with the Chairman, sholling out for 900,000 shares between them over the last 9 days, and then the company goes bankrupt.
Plain 'ol manipulation
Patience required
I think NF is probably correct on this. MM's holding the price at a level for their clients to buy. It's just how the 'game' works. I also recon if you buy at this level and come back in 12 months you will have done well enough; better than any cash ISA rate certainly, hopefully more.
It took a month to level out after August's HY
@Trisor
I think this is happening because the market are pricing in the possibility of CPI going bust - something unlikely to happen over at Unilever.
It looks like the market are still in firm control of the CPI share price (very much like after August results) and we've just got to be ever more patient.
I've given up trying to predict what happens next with the CPU share price - because whatever I tend to predict seems to be the opposite of what actually happens!
Perhaps I should predict a 12p share price in the hope that the SP will start to rise back up instead! 😁
