Unfortunately we in UK have to put up with this obsolete system whereby we have a bunch of intermediaries called Market Makers controlling the distribution of the shares. Not content with taking a profit from the Bid/ Ask différential, they greedily blatantly manipulate the price in various other stratagems. This is not a Market in the classic sense. How much longer investors will tolerate this anomaly is difficult to say. But one day it will change. It has to
Nice buys coming in at Full ASK, 0.36p, will MM’s now start moving one by one?
Remember the louder you scream the faster the ride. Come on copl............
Excellent postings guys, MM’s have the SP by the goolies despite constant buys.
Still, as I said earlier, they will run out of shares at some point.
.
They are, so if I'm still posting, I must be skiving !
I thought the schools were back today.
You didn't Base.
I hadn’t noticed as had drifted back to sleep for half hour.Hope I didn’t miss anything interesting lol
Brel
It is, I agree. But at least Iron's agenda is now admitted with all the 'there's a big seller' posts and being bothered by not topslicing at 0.38 to make his 10% margin.
Iron
Not convinced, if it was a uniform problem across many stocks, yes, it would suggest ii have less access to MM's but it isn't. Can't imagine they scan twice the number of MM's for the rest of the market but only half of the MM's on COPL.
Its all very well getting a quote..... ..its the point of execution........pressing the buy button ........when they decide to let you buy or not............had it happen all the time with Barclay's on numerous stocks
You clearly have your own agenda Iron
Good luck with it whatever it is
Iron
That BS you came out with the other day 'I haven't sold a share'. It's clear you've been trading this all the way up. Now it's all about topslicing. Contradictory BS. Laughable.
As I wrote to Bob, you're just a trader talking your own book.
Sport
Tough, accept it, some can't buy.
May be the broker as you suggest but I'm not getting a buy quote on COPL on ii again and I can get a quote to buy on another stock being heavily bought in the market this morning.
.354 currently on 500k (NMS), so buys appearing as sells
imo once the seller (from the recent placing?) is done we will see a re-rate as the MM no longer have the excess stock to offload.
If you have L2, you will prob be able to see the flip from offer to bid of the MM being used...hopefully this should give you some good timing on your £20k purchase.
Looks like sp being held in tight range to control vwap for conversion post completion of shares to atomic owner
'not much point until the selling is done or news comes in.'
when news comes in, you're too late
Lots of buying pressure but MM’s tightly grouped together, slowly one by one they will start to move.
Here we go again indeed.
NT to buy? need to change your broker then. I can get a quote of .355 for 5mln, .37 for anything above this
here we go again, NT to buy but sell easily
Made my point a lot more succinctly massively undervalued
Just happened again... The posts contained nothing edgy
Amadan... surprisingly they were innocent and in relation to what was being talked about.... totally non edgy posts
With wti @ 66 dollars a barrel the NPV of the project is rising by the day. Perfect timing for the mother of all re rates.
