No
Forget that post ALF'' SRY, i did find the SHARE bit towards the end, and a complicated affair I must say'' and can only be dissected by the CAG when RBM have a moment...
see what they think about our chances of a return, but we still need to petition parliament to stamp out Market abuse with naked shorting of there own stock to get SP down to zero then hide behind CCAA 15 / C11 Bankruptcy to grab huge asset such as this on the cheap from shareholders
that's my thought''
speak soon
ALF I Cannot identify what paragraph it mention the stalking horse bid include SHARES ?? or did you just add it to your previous post ? if you can just point us to where it say so in that link you provided, REGARDS....
but what i did see, is that the monitor and BOD is immune from any 3rd party claim from here on in, under CCAA rule, and that could also mean any law suet from shareholders I should imagine, but if someone else could look into that'' as it's above my pay grade....
but it also talk about, if the transaction set out in the
Stalking Horse Purchase Agreement is the Successful Bid pursuant to the SISP. ??? equally worrying ?
but so long as it's not pre plan that the lenders will be the only bid that will be accepted ?
the approval of any sale and vesting of any such Property shall be considered by this
Court on a subsequent application made to this Court if the transaction set out in the
Stalking Horse Purchase Agreement is the Successful Bid pursuant to the SISP.
7. As soon as reasonably practicable following the Applicants and the Stalking Horse
Purchaser executing the Stalking Horse Purchase Agreement, which shall occur no later
than March 23, 2024, ???
and we are still waiting 10 days on to find out who is the successful BID without independent valuation ?
ANYWAY'' whatever that is going to happen in a month time, we all have to sign that petition parliament, to protect shareholders, in the future from these type of purported crime, I mean all we need is 10k signature to have it debated and hopefully stamp out these kind of legal corporate robbery, but the last time i look at the website it only had 4700 signature LOL!! but news today about halogen head lamp glare in the night has already had 10k signature and made it's way on SKY NEWS, and is going to be debated in the commons, just goes to show what is more important ?
Regards
Cheers Alfresco. Got it now.
Incidentally Roche started in October 🤔
It's a shame John Roche is not dealing with COPL.
Schedule B, further down
Where’s this info Alfresco ?
"Be nice if old arty said a word or two"
Lol, well it would be the first time he had spoken that never resulted in a share price drop!
I had not noticed this before: 'Such transaction alternatives may include, among other things, a sale of some or all of the COPL Entities’ shares, assets and/or business and/or an investment in the COPL Entities, each of which shall be subject to all terms set forth in this SISP.' So a bidder could bid for part of the assets, the whole, the shares or make an investment in COPL. A bidder could put up the funds to save the company then. They must submit a LoA by the end of 17th April, and it seems they do not have to deposit any money at that time. They then submit a bid by the end of May 2nd or let their LOI lapse. So I would have thought that there should at least be some LOIs to buy time to complete due diligence by May 2nd, then hopefully bids. This could turn out to be interesting!
What has happened to the group have they given up no information at all
Be nice if old arty said a word or two, like had to go down this road as to get the best for shareholders, as we have multiple interested parties
Anything positive out there ! Ps weather crap here
According to the SISP process, the courts gave COPL authorisation to disregard exchange rules during the SISP process.
VANCOUVER, BC, April 2, 2024 /CNW/ - The following issues have been halted by CIRO:
Company: Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited
CSE Symbol: XOP
All Issues: Yes
Reason: Failure to Maintain Exchange Requirements
Halt Time (ET): 3:02 pm
CIRO can make a decision to impose a temporary suspension (halt) of trading in a security of a publicly-listed company. Trading halts are implemented to ensure a fair and orderly
there is nothing about COPL have asked them to suspend ??
I wonder why ?
the CSE investors have had 20 days to cash out if they so wish, and we are thrown under the bus'' disgusting behaviour..
this need higher investigation from the government of this country IMO,
Xop not trading now
Anyone understands why
Maybe the 17 million house sale in Las Vegas funds are available?
Why employ someone who has no experience in oil companies. A stooge to sell for nothing
I wonder if Province Financial are going to be targeted by the authorities investigating.
And some people think our class action won't succeed!! 100% it will and the previous directors including Peter Kratlvitz are very very wealthy!
Even booted off the exchange for irregularities
Failure to Maintain Exchange Requirements....?
Thanks for that G1970, talk of the devil'' 21 days late ? never seen this before in any requested suspension
