See Paul Johnson has bought more - another 1,350,000 - over 5% now. "Connemara has today received notification that Mr Paul Johnson is now the beneficial owner of 3,850,000 ordinary shares of €0.01 each, which represents 5.08% of the Company's total voting rights." Something's brewing.
Slowly without any "shout", with silent bb upwards and onwards. What will happen when "the herd" starts coming. Very likely the background buying is happening as well. Just £1m market cap and five new prospecting licences in County Laois, in the Irish Midlands.
"Connemara Mining Company plc has received notification that Paul Johnson is now the beneficial owner of 2,500,000 ordinary shares of 5p each, representing 3.3% of the Company's issued share capital with voting rights" which means he has bought the shares and very likely it's not his "last word".
I am a big fan of Paul Johnson, he knows his stuff, he invests wisely and when he talks he always comes across very well. He is listing CON as one of his positions at the moment, so hopefully he has bought the shares.
There we go again. I am sure that those who sold on the 1 hour small dip will regret it shortly.
Does anyone know what is going on here. I can't see Paul Johnson buying 3.3% unless he intends to make a serious return on his investment but I can't immediately see what may drive the shareprice upwards. Also has he paid 5p per share or not. Anyone.
"Connemara Mining Company PLC has received notification that Paul Johnson is now the beneficial owner of 2,500,000 ordinary shares of 5p each, representing 3.3% of the Company's issued share capital with voting rights." Well the RNS states that Paul Johnson owns the shares complete with voting rights rather than just warrants at 5p so we must assume that he has bought them.
There are a lot of warrants at 5p from the fundraising of May 2016 which need to be exercised within the next year: "The board of Connemara Mining (AIM: CON) are pleased to announce that they have raised £400,200 (before expenses) by way of a Placing and Subscription of 20,010,000 new ordinary shares of €0.01 each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 2p per share ("the Placing and Subscription Shares"). For each Placing and Subscription Share subscribed for, the investors are also receiving one warrant to subscribe for an additional Ordinary Share at a price of 5p per share at any time until 26 May 2018." These shares may have come from Metal Tiger as the RNS wording is that Paul Johnson is now the beneficial owner of the shares rather than that he has bought them. Metal Tiger acquired them from the placing but them subsequently sold their holding but the warrants would still be valid. These warrants are worth over £1 Million to Connemara once exercised so it is in their interests to get the shareprice up past 5p.......................
Then again I'm not sure as my research seems to say that the nominal price is €0.01 so maybe he has bought 2,500,000 shares for 5p each..............................................not sure - can't see him paying more than market price.........
The nominal price of the shares is 5p - this is not the price PJ will have paid. He will have paid market price.
Very likely a short term (1 to 3 months) profit on it's way here to attract Paul Johnson to buy 3.3% of the shares in issue. Surprisingly these were not bought in a placing. The shareprice may also rise if he increases his stake too as he often seems to like about 8%-10% for his punts..
rising here ...paul johnson over 3% at 5p
Up again nicely.
Bought in with a small amount.
It's quite difficult to buy atm and easy to sell. Something may be going on here we are not aware of yet. Any potential news at this low market cap of just £0.88m would see it rocketing.
Paul Johnson tweets this on sat "#AAU #CON #GGP #LION Gold-Stock Breakouts Near " £20k worth of sells in 4 trades today. Only been around 50-60 trades in the past month.
Cash position not very encouraging then. I am afraid that it's just a one-day rise like in case of many stocks which has dropped recently. Nevertheless I'll keep that on my radar and if the rise is confirmed maybe I'll 'get in' with a small amount.
Have only just started to look at this company after it having a decent rise today on a small number of trades. But at 30 June 2016, the Accounts showed cash of €495 and they were spending about €100 every six months. So I guess they may have about €350 at present, depending on how much the 5 licences just acquired cost them. Chart wise a rise from Monday would go clearly above the 50 and 100 dmas which are almost the same and the SP could rise towards the 200 dma at 1.79p. Mcap £865K; total float 75.6% and directors holding c.16% per 4-traders.com. Interesting, worth looking at further.
Very quiet here. Does anyone know what is con's actual cash position?
New pb/zn licences Irish Midlands. Wonder how the cash situation is?
Volume great.)
Looks like some thing brewing.Fully funded.Timy market cap.Not many share isssue. This always rerate very fast.Way under value.£££)
Up 3.6% today on a couple of buys. Hmmmm could be news in the pipe line. Due anytime and could be big.
2 big buys just in, so maybe on the turn. The technical position is obviously very weak after the spike with many frustrated recent buyers.
1 year low very close. Will it go lower?
