Question may be who would be willing to buy so many shares at a higher price? Maybe news from government dispute is nearer than some here think or maybe some truth regarding a Takeover. Either way all will be known sooner than some may think.
Someone's buying again wonder who?
Is there gonna be more news?
Lazy - the cash improved in the last financial year because of the sale of CD4 - hence no correlation at all
this time there are no additional income from sale of portfolio - so there will be a lot more correlation - it certainly will be a lot more accurate than the gross profit figure that everyone is quoting
I know what the company announced but I also know that you cannot assume a cash movement is any indication of the EBITDA.
For the last financial year to March 2023 the Cash position improved by £3.5m but the company reported a large EBITDA loss of around £3.0m - so no real link between the 2 figures.
It may be that the EBITDA profit for the year to March 24 is £300k but that will simply be a coinicdence.
But don't forget likewise if there is news of government dispute goes in favour of company as the company has previously indicated, and it includes a 7 figure amount for the counterclaim. What do you think will happen to the SP Captain Swag?
"Another way of looking at it is anything you have posted negative in the last 6 months or so could have prevented new investors bagging here. 115% up in that sort of period. Just saying captain (no bullying)"
sniffer - firstly the fact that they are in profit (lets assume the EBITDA will be) for the first time in years was a surprise to all if they are honest.
whilst the sp is currently up. my bet is it will start to drift down again now that the froth has had an rns
furthermore there is still the question of the gov dispute
if news drops that they have to pay £2.5m of hard earned tax payer money back - what do you think that will do to the sp?
Lazy
the company cleverly announced gross profit yesterday of £xm
however it is the net income that is important as expenses such as salaries etc still need to be taken off
the EBITDA will give a much more useful figure - the actual real profit
the company have only said that EBITDA is expected to be positive....which is hardly the most solid of forecasts ....so it could be negative or zero or slightly positive.
we do know that cash has increased by £300k - so i think it is a reasonable estimate that this could be a reflection of the actual net income - don't you?
May it be anything to do with further reduction in scrap/wastage 27% I think it said. No more one off payments.
Captain Swag - "Someone needs to counteract the lies on here"
Does that include the fictitious £300k Net Profit that you made up?
The company hasn't announced anything but you seem to think a change in Cash position can only be due to profit - as most accountants/sensible investors know there is a lot of difference between profit and cash.
Agree DJ, very stange.
I hope Atan does make a reappearance. Starting to feel sorry for the chap.
Up for warning potential new investors Captain and you all pointing out lies. Another way of looking at it is anything you have posted negative in the last 6 months or so could have prevented new investors bagging here. 115% up in that sort of period. Just saying captain (no bullying)
Ant...I have explained a number of times.
Won't be bullied off the board
Someone needs to counteract the lies on here
@CaptainSwag. "much more exciting aim shares around with real chance of multibagging"
yet you're here day in day out!! Fancy telling us why?
5-0 - how do you explain that there are only 7 trades showing on lse as I type?
the reality is that it was a good rns as they are in profit for the first time in years.
but lets be honest with the sales they - the share isnt going to rocket anywhere....
the sp will drift down again as we have had the froth and reality sets in
still a gazillion 4p placing shares to be dumped - so it is not going to get anywhere near 6p let alone 10p
much more exciting aim shares around with real chance of multibagging
Pressure on the share price is building, when it is released the price will move far higher than many expect, it can only be a matter of time before this company is, once again, covered by well followed social media outlets.
Buy low sell high, someone on the other BB suggested buying CNSL now is like buying a £10 note for a fiver, well I would suggest it's like buying a £20 note for a fiver !
It isn't two, the others haven't posted for a while.
there is no way its an coordinated bash for a low entry bid. two random posters on this forum could in now way affect the share price. swag lost a packet so i am not surprised he's ****ed. atan, well that's anybody's guess.
