Can anyone tell me is 8 million cash return in form of divi aprrox 7 pence each share held plus interom divi......
Picked up a few more #CNKS at sub 168p on Monday now up to 170p to buy at the mo'...Interims imminent!
Results normally around 26-29 th September. Looking at their website they show that they have been involved in a massive £1.6 billion of fundraising since January-BCA being the biggest. This should provide a great 6 months result I would think. That's maybe why they have been increasing their stake.
Interesting too see someone building large stake in Company Hargreave Hale Thoughts of percentage too launch bid for us?
Interesting too see someone building large stake in Company ? Chargeable Hale Thoughts of percentage too launch bid for us?
In response to QPP changes not benign proceeded.
Probably due to a certain company has been suspended until today.
For the past year or so, anyone knows any reason?
Are you kidding me? At 150? I don't like to say I know what is going to happen but not unless there is a global crisis do I think this share is going to hit 150p. This share has a P/E round 5 and a dividend yield of 10%, it has had a big deal close to the AA last year and it is half way through the year. In my opinion this is massively underpriced
Would buy into it around the 150p mark.
Might be worth a read: http://www.lse.co.uk/ShareNews.asp?shareprice=CNKS&code=4b0o68li&headline=US_biotech_company_Evofem_eyes_London_listing_sources Hoping the link works. Wouldn't read too much into it right now, just bearing it in mind. Can anyone enlighten me what the previous RNSs mean regarding Form 8.5 please?. Gazza, I concur with you regarding should have sold earlier, that of course is hind sight. I should have decided to review my holding when the share price fell to 200p. Like most folk though, we tend to feel any retrace in the share price will only be short term and will bounce back. And it may well do. Most investors tend to look at a falling share price as it not going to continue to fall, hold and if anything may look to "average down". Not a good idea generally. Also investors look on a continuously rising share price as not being able to keep rising and therefore hold back from investing. However we both know that both can happen, continuous falls and rises. These days I am far more likely to invest into strength "averaging up" and resist investing into weakness "averaging down" unless there are exceptional circumstances. A buy at these prices?. Possibly. I am content to have reduced my holdings and have some funding ready to invest at a better time here or elsewhere. Too often though I have sold too early and it may be the case here. Time will tell. Good luck and regards. CM
Thanks CM Great reply should have sold earlier...bought back now..... Noticed thatCenkos have done another deal for Essenden hope it brings in some profit for us shareholders..... Momentum or good news on these will help... Still rate as buy at these prices... Hope I right? GF
Hi gazza. Not sure why share price has fallen, don't think it has anything to do with Quindell though. Sentiment seems to be against CNKS at present perhaps more to do with the general state of the market with the concern over Greece. Should there be no resolution at the 11th hour and the market tanks, then there will be little appetite for market floats and therefore imo reducing the potential for increased revenue for CNKS. Speculation on my behalf though. I have reduced my holding in CNKS today by half and have set a stop loss for the other half, along with all my other holdings awaiting any outcome one way or the other over Greece. Not sure if we are going to see victory snatched out of the jaws of defeat, or defeat snatched out of the jaws of victory. Beggers belief, it really does. May throw up some buying opportunities. Regards CM
Why is share price so low? Anything too do with quindell. Still hold faith lowered target albeit bit late
...She never did hit 250p in recent rally ( but did do 230p ) & now 187p to buy ( my average = 177p ) Fabulous 9% dividend!
Nowhere near as much as showing (my buy is showing as a sell). And drop is 0.5% not 51%! Good dividend here.
The company also recently declared a dividend, which will be paid on Thursday, May 28th. Shareholders of record on Thursday, April 30th will be given a dividend of GBX 10 ($0.15) per share. This represents a yield of 4.65%. The ex-dividend date of this dividend is Thursday, April 30th.
i was waiting for 170p to buy back again.
I note that on 6 May Edison Investment Research have altered their research note on Cenkos and have added 'Our numbers are under review.' to it. Given the recent win of the Haversham business it will probably lead to a re-rating of the stock. It will also be interesting to see rival Numis results due out tomorrow (8th May) and any possible rub-off on Cenkos if the market is viewed to be buoyant.
I think your valuation of CNKS at 250 (rather than 2.50) is a little optimistic right now Gazza. I am a little concerned about the retrace over the last week which is more than I anticipated even after the 10p dividend pay out. It could well be down to the political nervousness ahead of the election with the market concerned about the effect of a possible labour administration on the business environment.............but then again.............I could easily be wrong. Maybe companies will be less inclined to float with Ed. Milliband holding office. May be a while before we know of the make up of the next government which won't help. Wishing all well and good luck CM
Hi fellow investors... Asking a question have I got the value of this share wrong....? Doubting my sums at minute? Look forward to your opinion... still feel should be 2.50 rather than closing price?
Should have read Cenkos shareholders me just lol at that... predictive txt....grr
Morning fellow Dennis shareholders and posters.... Confusion leads too opportunities a nd very much feel this is the case.....been investing a long time.....and very much feel that this is great share at fantastic price... I rate it strong buy and have invested heavily in these...... Good luck happy investing
Hi Cheque, Thanks for that ink. It explains it far better than I ever could. CNKS has fallen more than the 10p but I expect it will still rebound. Should be back to 200p quite quickly. Very underrated share given the chunky cash it doles out. The link with Quindell has imo weighed on Cenkos. Otherwise we would be 250p by now.
This has indeed gone ex dividend today, according to Hargreaves Lansdown, so somewhat of a relief. I have always found ex dividend confusing to understand, do we buy in immediately before or after, so hopefully the following will help: http://www.iii.co.uk/tools-research/knowledge-centre/dividend-dates-explained Regards and good luck CM
