Its not the 1m its the constant buying of the 1 to 1.5m
DND a million block is nothing, i have a few of them.
I
Here's hoping for a decent return or spike.
Perroverde, I don't disagree with anything you said and I don't think anything you said disagrees with anything I said either. Sure, Clon has a low market cap and next to no debt. And, sure, Ghana and Bolivia have great potential, which, incidentally, would be there whether Clon existed or not. The question there is "would you or anyone else still be willingly invested here if Clon was in debt etc....?? But, they aren't, and we are! Thank you though for answering my question about the salary, well, one of his salaries that is, as Pauly correctly alluded too!
Thank you Pauly! And, that respect, along with my sincere good wishes, is mutual :)
Pauly I merely answered the question because I happened to know the answer, when investing I take note of that sort of thing, too many AIM companies are just gravy trains for directors. In the real world £30k IS about the going rate for nonexecs. I completely understand lth frustration here (I too am underwater) but it’s also a fact (and not a ramp!) that this is currently valued by the market at less than some shellcos (and is arguably better constituted). As for having multiple identities, I really don’t have time or inclination to engage in that sort of nonsense, in fact rarely comment on anything at all anymore, even as GreenDog.
mr 1 mill block buyer back again
come on own up who is it?
As usual you are spot on Riseandshine. I know that you are a genuine long time shareholder and I respect and value your input however there are many disgenuine people here all with different and changing identities trying to fool us by ramping away..
Someone mentioned DH’ salary only be 30k? ONLY? 30k for doing nothing is awesome. Add a few more salaries from other 162 dodgy companies and you are laughing all the way to the bank
One point people are forgetting is that the BOD do not work. So even 10k for no work is cool. But 30k plus is awesome!!!!!
Despite everything I say there may be a small chance of a miracle and I am waiting for that as have lost the vast majority of my money so no point to see at all.
RiseandShine while I agree re being 'realistic' on these points, but firstly if you look at the annual report the directors have been taking £30k fees each which is hardly a lifestyle business (though they have accrued unpaid salaries over the years but that's another matter). Secondly, while Bolivia, Ghana etc are all interesting and carry all sorts of huge potential, with a Mcap of circa £2m and presumably around £500k of cash, and no debt to speak of, there are AIM listed cash shells with higher valuations!
I get your point, but one needs to do something to keep a company going and justify an executive salary. I don't mean to be deliberately cynical but we have had 12 years of "possibilities & potentials". In the meantime, DH has been enjoying a very comfortable salary...anyone know how much?? It's not a bad thing, the guy will be doing a lot of work I am sure. But one needs to be realistic in ones expectations, that's all I am saying! GLA
Im not sure Bolivia is irrelevant ? Im pretty certain Dh hasn't spent weeks out there for the goodness of his health.
I do wish people would stop trying to put a positive spin on Bolivia! I wouldn't argue against Bolivia having fantastic potential for Lithium. But, no matter how good it sounds, Clon wont benefit one bit from that. The potential for Bolivia to produce is nothing to do with whether Clon has a chance to win a contract. And, in my own opinion, they don't!! Ghana however, is a different story. Clon have a legal claim to a sweet spot next to the Jubilee oil field!! That is something Clon was lucky enough to actually get a foothold in. I have no faith whatsoever in Clon's ability to actually deliver anything and neither, I am sure, has the Ghanaian government. That is besides the point though. The fact remains that under a previous administration, Ghana have given Clon a plot which is worth a fortune and they need to do something about that which will be satisfactory to both sides. Clon have stated, on record, that a satisfactory deal was reached and it WAS BEING sent to parliament for ratification. Clon subsequently dropped all legal proceedings and we now await the results. That's the reality of the situation so please stop telling us how much lithium is in Bolivia, it's all but irrelevant here!!
