Exactly. This has been a tough long haul if you got in hoping for the award of the Tano block. But just look at what has happened. This is way better than a Tano award. Tano is early stage and even if it was awarded it would be many years and a lot of expenditure before we got anywhere near drilling a well. Right now CLON has gone from zombie company to just weeks away from a potentially massive net discovery. I can't understand why some of you want to refrain from discussing the fundamentals of the company and resort to negativity. As far as I can see all your Christmases have come at once. You're very lucky.
lol
I have been called a ramper and a deramper on the same board
many times , neither like the truth at any given time, if it does not
suit them.
as for ADV , I warned people to be careful many times , when they came pushing
it on the other Timor Leste board Baron (Boil) the reservoir was depleted , first
by BHP , who sold on to Nexen , who departed , when the main reservoir done
and force majure and politics , took control of the disputed JPDA area.
They were always only looking for possible , probable reserves , not the long gone
motherload.
Clon I make more like 250mboe with the condensate (premium to oil) factored in
either way , at current NPV10 X RR rates for sale at over $10 a barrel , a 100mboe
is $1 billion at current prices.
USA always the highest by far but you get the gist of value V our lowly Market Cap
and OZ pretty high on the RR ratings, so would not be far behind.......GLA
:))))))))))))
Pauly, Gulable, I absolutely get what you are saying here and that has indeed been the past experience here. The same ramping style is also evident here, I can see that too. However, I do agree with one thing Phoebus is trying to convey; i.e. this is different! When Clon signed up for the Tano block in Ghana it was a brilliant deal for such a small company to get anywhere near having a plot in such a sweet spot. However, they would have learned from the fact that it had to yet be ratified through the quicksand of African politics. What Clon have ought into here seems to reflect the lessons of the past. This project doesn't need anything prior to the drill. I don't know how they did it but this is "potentially" and by potentially, that needs to be seen through the lens of a 32% chance of success. It could fail of course or other things could happen. But in terms of what Phoebus is saying about potential here, I agree with him on that. Bear in mind that the BOD awarded themselves shares and also deferred there payments till 2024. They have just as much interest in the SP rising as we do now. This may well be a retirement package for them....not financial advice and DYOR, it's all in potential and no guarantees on AIM GLA :)
Paul, long term shareholders are no better versed in this business than anyone else that has followed the lack of newsflows from the sidelines over many years.
Not sure I buy the 'friends' sat in some kind of ramping sweat-shop theory but take your point. Personally I don't know anybody in reality on these boards and like most can work out for myself when some posts are a little enthusiastic! I also don't post much due to the whole ramper / deramper categorisation that goes on. If you just bought in on the new, imminent prospect then of course you are going to be positive. If you are a long term holder then you might view this with a certain amount of scepticism if disgruntled by past performance. Just opinions on a board, meanwhile the SP will do what it does. Here's to near term success for any and all holders!
100p was obviously sarcasm. The 10p figure though is more than feasible on a discovery. ADV was on the equivalent of 7.5p per CLON share before Buffalo-10 on a risked basis and many other companies have also been on similar or higher multiples before their drill results, so it's not unreasonable to think CLON will reach 10p in the event it makes a discovery. The size of what's on offer here is so big that some people are just failing to compute. BOD made a great move. CLON is only weeks away from potentially having a 140 MMBOE net discovery under its belt.

Gul..., think the 100p comment was a flippant remark. "A few friends" ...funny stuff.
Took a sizeable chunk on Wednesday @42, saw a reasonable profit yesterday after the RNS before it pulled back.
Here for the spud then see, the figures look good so optimistic, but have no idea on how to put a possible sp on it.
Thanks gulable and agreed.
Reading this absolutely ridiculous statement -
‘anyone that's been a long term share holder here isn't worth listening to’
confirms to be a few things:
- this individual clearly has no business experience as would get shot down saying this anywhere in the business world
- this comment disregards any long term understanding of the business it’s BOD and previous behaviour and basically says ‘forget an due diligence’ let’s rush in, hype the heck out of it based on one deal
Naive or intentionally ramping for their own agenda. In my head I have this vision of a group of 5 or 6 professional rampers all sitting in a room with laptops set up and Ames being hanged every few months who work full time on shenanigans like this.
Long term holders would like nothing more that to receive 10p let alone 100p for many years of investing
However we have been ‘burnt’ many times and are naturally cautious.
Pauly, well said I’ve been thinking exactly the same lately, not only are they friends ramping the hell out of this share but they appear to have their own language and obviously their own agenda.
Monday's announcement has completely transformed CLON from what was effectively a zombie company with zero active projects to one with huge exposure to a significant drill in a prolific basin. Any oil and gas investor that has taken a look at the fundamentals will immediately see the value on offer here, so it's no wonder that new investors have suddenly taken an interest in the stock.
As I said the other day, anyone that's been a long term share holder here isn't worth listening to as they were basically just punters punting on a zombie trading chip which had no real investment case until this week. Forget about CLON as it was and look at the fundamentals with fresh eyes. The board have made a very good move here, which has the potential to completely transform the company.
Note to Rise and shine and a few other long term genuine holders. Beware as there is some monkey business taking place here. All of a sudden this board appears to be hijacked by a few friends who are all colluding together to ramp the heck out of this.
Even at its height a few years back when Ghana news was ‘on the verge’ never did I see predicted figures go so high as potentially 10p. Now we have newbies bragging about 100p just in the Australian news. Beware folks.
for clarity that's just for clon's 10%

:))))))))))))
Simple maths for the Market
Potential Market Cap - Divided by share base = Potential SP
;))
and the potential here is bottom end around 250mboe , at current NPV10 X RR
which is currently running over $10 a barrel for sale assets, which means clon
could be a few weeks away from holding an asset worth $2.5 Billion offset by
potential reserves recovery rates applied of GIIP and OIIP (Premium condensate)
Figures mouth watering , IF and in this industry , its always and IF , all the pieces
of the puzzle fall into place........
Some get an instant rerate or overshoot (following herd wind) others have to wait
for more data/results to see true value........imo this is a big drill and lead up to spud
and TD , will garner a lot of interest on the way.............GLA
:))))))))))))))))
based on low end gas plus condensate figures mentioned.
scooby I take it you’re trying to buy on the cheap lol
We both know that is going to smash 1p
mac...you might wanna shut the ole laptop mate & take a breather. Might not go quite as far as "deranged imbecile" though:))
I have a saying in investing, 'If it looks too good to be true, hurry up and buy before someone else does.' It never ceases to amaze me how everyone sits round watching everyone else staring the gift-horse in the mouth questioning their own sanity. It's not us that are stupid, it's the market cap.
LOL
Sorry that was deramping meant 100p on positive results
Macbookpro, your figures so sound utterly ridiculous you sound like a deranged imbecile. Thing is though ... I agree 100%, as the maths suggests you are correct. The market cap here is so out of whack with the size of the asset that anyone crunching the numbers and doing sensible analysis sounds like a complete moron. Best value drill I've ever seen. Nothing comes close at this valuation. Good luck all and DYOR.
expecting 1p on bounce
2-3p before TD
If successful 10-20p.
0.4 no brainier imho
