Possibly a silly question, but how come I never see any Clipper transport on the roads, yet regularly see Wincanton lorries?
Does Clipper trade under another name?
There are Clipper vehicles and a joint venture operation called Clicklink. However as the business is focused on retail Ecomm and returns a lot of the volume goes out on the parcel carriers so is less transport based......
Dividend yield is almost 5% (which is blue chip territory). No reason to think it won’t be rising further on these results.

Hi Motbuck. I was just quoting the Hargreaves Lansdown dividend history for Clipper, which is showing a 4.6% yield for FY ending 04/2020. Perhaps their algorithms messed up. Anyway, nice rally at close of trading today.

Clipper is getting a lot of good write-ups on Motley Fool at the moment. Not sure that accounts for the upticks, but it certainly can’t hurt.
