abrooking a stop loss is a perfectly normal thing to have when trading. Not odd at all really.
The reason for today's change of opinion is new information: specifically the board confirming they are considering an equity raise.
Saying that, I retain half my investment and like always everyone has their own portfolio balance/risk appetite.

@winniworld
It's not deramping to say you're a disappointed shareholder and have divested partially or fully and are hoping to get back in later. It's just reality.
guitarman001 has been wishing for the Cineworld shares to drop to a super low like 30p and lower. So, yes he was deramping for lower entry after selling out a part of their Cineworld share investment.NoFear
It's odd how some people see it as "cutting losses" when in reality it's creating a loss. You haven't lost anything until the second you've sold at a loss. I don't understand why people who were once confident don't have any patience. Investing is almost always a long-term thing. People who thought they were going to triple their money within six weeks were deluded.
@guitarman001 you're one of the genuine good guys on here. Thanks for being honest and good luck.
Like i said earlier, I too am livid with today's performance by the board. But I've kept 40,000 shares and still believe in this long term. However, I also sold 40,000 at 40p and don't blame anyone cutting their losses today.
Let's not kid ourselves, a lot of us thought today would be a lot better than it turned out and giving others abuse for making their own valid conclusions is just wrong. It's not deramping to say you're a disappointed shareholder and have divested partially or fully and are hoping to get back in later. It's just reality.

You think I'm the worst from the bunch of rampers. Wait for the rest of my rampers crew to join me later.
They're currently away licking their wounds after todays interim results. Guess what !!! I have not been harmed
in any particular way and being in red is good for the old blood flow. Patience is the key. Time will pass. Long live Cines.
NoFear
Guys, no need to turn a Cine friend into an enemy. He hasn’t de-ramped.
Guitarman, i believe it you had waited just a couple of hours you wouldn’t have sold and I am sure you will be back in at some point.

I totally agree with you. But don't make a fuss of my spelling because what matters
the most is that I'm able [TO] get your attention. NoFear

No fear? More like no common sense. Now is not the time to buy. Yesterday was the time to sell, but you missed that one through hubris.
@quitarman001
He keeps saying how he hates derampers, but I ?? agree @NOFEAR is worst so far.
Wel done with NEX.
It’s hard not to with your ex. Easier said than done.
@guitarman001
By the time you will have decided to re-invest in Cineworld shares, it will be priced at double todays prices.
Here is the Nighclub two way entry fee scenario:
If you turned up at your local nightclub before 10pm you'll get in for a fiver, but if you decide to join later
and after 11pm its going to cost you a tenner. Why the price difference ? Because you would had been spending
your money in the nightclub for an extra hour between 10pm and 11pm instead being sitting in the nearby pub
and spending there on drinks instead in the nightclub. So, be prepared to pay more at the door when you and the
rest like you decide to reconsider Cineworld for a long investment and not on a day trading basis. DOYR. GLA. NoFear
NOFEAR, I’ve always appreciated your posts, but there’s no need to call people chicken ****s for selling if they think they have found an opportunity that’s better - we’re all here to make money.
I still hold here, and topped up earlier but respect others choices not to
@EWT98
I've never knew that a.rse licking each other could spread like wild fire. Well done for all who took the decision to
jump ship and make it to the island of the greatest Chicken S.hitters. NoFear
I haven’t seen him Deramp yet.
Think he is just a bit p/ssed off and licking his wounds. Nothing wrong with that
No worries, only wish I had listened to your advice on NEX a couple of weeks ago - been watching but thought it would be better off here for now!
Still, I’m not a skilled day trader, so buy and hold it is
Guitarman isn't de-ramping, he has decided it isn't worth it given/based around the results, and understandably so. It is a risk, holding here, there is hope and a lot of potential upside, there is also potential downside.
There are also other stocks that have better hopes short-term, just because guitarman doesn't want to be invested here based off his own perception of risk/reward it doesn't make it a good investment or a bad investment. He's only sharing his opinion.
As he said, he may regret selling up, just as we may regret not selling up.
Well I have to be grateful to guitarman001 as he tipped nex a month ago . So thanks
No worries guitarman, it could prove to be a very shrewd move. Although like is said earlier I think you just panicked. But please don’t do a Shamus on us!
One thing I can state for certain is nobody knows what is going to happen. Some claim (mainly derampers) what they think as a fact. When Institutions with all their resources and manpower don’t even know!
My only advice (which is probably not worth a lot) on your current loss. Don’t go chasing casino stocks like Amgo. When things are down those kind of plays normally only make things worse.
He will buy back in now at 44p
Well said HeresHopin
That time has finally comed for guitarman001 to sing his desperate tunes elsewhere. By guitarman001. NoFear
Yeah, I like NEX as well. I´m also tempted at AMIGO but I thought CINE was a roller coaster I have no description for Amigo.
@guitarman
Did you sell at 40p?
No need to turn on Guitarman, he made his choice and has every right to do so.
Just as long as he doesn’t suddenly start de-ramping because now he is out then nobody should have any issue.
As a fellow guitarist & musician, I must say, you've gone down in my book this morning, you were one of the last I thought would've shat his pants.
But hey, life is a lesson, good luck
