Ok thats it for me I had this on my watch list but am now removing it. I have lost interest because they keep releasing news of contracts with absolutely no numbers and values attached. This is just cynical attempt by them to pump their own shares . If the contract is so good then any decent company would state the value. What are they hiding ? Any old fool can sign a contract and many do . This tells me there is something not quite right here and one to avoid.
I remain firmly on the side lines with this for now. Its a good story though so i watch with interest.
Yeah they should be banned. They are simply used to con people into thinking it is something of worth when it clearly is just an attempt to pump. I would be watching now to see if a fundraising is on the way. Not saying one is but its a signal for one.
I see it was released as an RNS reach.
They are doing what bad AIM companies do and releasing puff in order to ramp their own shares. This is the path towards losing all and any trust and respect they may or may not have it is a red flag. If they cant be open and honest about a contract they have just announced then they shouldnt announce anything. They are shooting themselves in the foot but think they are being clever. PI's are no longer the mugs they used to be , well not all of them.
Nonsense, you dont sign a contract without knowing all the figures and agreeing to them lol. To think otherwise is madness. You work out all the details before signing any contract.
Give it time, whilst i do agree with you to some extent very few things happen over night given time im sure they will work out all the details and the final income/costs and then release an RNS stating the details for us investors
It is all very well them announcing a contract in Wales but the announcement and the contract is completely meaningless without a value being put on this contract. A value and expected profit margin. Otherwise they might as well have remained silent. Is it worth £1 ? or £10 or what ? Until they give a proper and meaningfull value to this contract then it can only be valued and worth zero. Or worse cost more than it brings in. Meaningless RNS should not be allowed.
a winner to me so I've now gotten on-board :)
Bazzaman.Yeh what you said!! jump on board guys.
STAR PICK CityFibre (CFHL:AIM) 67p A genuinely unique play on UK fibre networks roll-out based on rapidly growing demand for superfast connectivity and bandwidth across the UK regions. With 100-plus UK cities identified thanks to the implied inward enterprise investment and job creation, small and medium-sized businesses are eager for high-quality connectivity to access next-generation digital services. CityFibre’s initial capex outlay is largely de-risked by anchor ICT integrator, internet service provider or local authority tenants, and it currently has projects running in Peterbrough, Coventry, Kirklees, Aberdeen and York. Proven expertise at the complex planning phase, CityFibre is concentrating on local authority and business use first, but has plans to open the networks to consumers down the line. Profits remain some way off and debt funding will power growth, but CityFibre promises to turn into high dividend-paying virtual equity bond over coming years. We suggest getting in early for the long-haul.
Yes he is a good friend of mine - not sure what I am allowed to say on the forums but he does have something to do with the company. I don't invest money recklessly, I always do my own research and this guy has told me all the research I need to know plus my own. The management team just looks so impressive - all our share ventures have to start somewhere - so lets hope this comes good - he who dares wins Rodney lol! Good Luck :) ADYOR
Hi Ben, this is on my watch list for the future but still in cash burn mode at the moment. I will need to see some more results before i seriously look at it. I personally rather pay a higher price with less risk but if all goes according to plan I think it will do well in the long term. You must really trust your friend lol I wouldn't invest a tenner off the back of any of my friends recommendations :) Good luck with your investment mate hope it all works out.
Hi not too much chat going in on this board? I have recently bought 10k worth into this company as had a tip off from a friend. I have done some research myself and this share looks very exciting especially with having 3 and EE on board. The guy I was talking to was very excited and said anything under £1 would be a good buy - 5 years down the line this share could be worth multiples of the existing price. Nice to see the new broker rating at £1.14 - good luck everyone involved! Anyone got any input?
Director buy above 70p. Show of confidence.
agreed, so much still to come hopefully. good to be back at 70p
Who are about to float are a customer of Cityfibre. They intend to use the Pborocore to offer residential customers gig connections. I'd recommend all holders read into it, it seems that the first customers are coming online this quarter. It should boost our revenue if it takes off, as they are intending to roll it out in other towns/cities we have or are laying fibre in.
David Thornton tipped this share in his latest email (he didn't name it as such but provided enough info to find it). Seems an interesting prospect and I'll have a look at the company more closely in the next few days but what's the main thoughts on here re revenue drivers...seen many of these infrastructure companies spend shareholders funds on capex and then fail to generate appropriate revenue to recoup, is the same likely here?
Interesting, I can buy 375 at 82p, but sell 200,000 for 80p
I found out via twitter!
