Maybe one day Mary, but I’m pretty sure I will get better returns elsewhere. I’m not topping this one up. It may come back, but others will do better quicker.
Just keep topping up and averaging down and one day it will turn up. 155p seems unbelievable value.
I have no confidence in this company. I’ve held shares for some time and the performance is miserable. Yes, lots of outside factors have impacted this - but in my opinion their brands are just not strong enough. Presumably marketing spend is also one of the areas they’ve cutback. We had a baking hot summer, and a World Cup, and still this fails to perform. I’m not selling as I can’t bring myself to crystallise my loss on this, but I take no pleasure in holding these and don’t see anything on the radar that’s going to improve performance. If anyone has anything tangible and positive to say in response, I’m open to listening!
All other beverage updates have been good this week
kinda lonely here - any views?
Adding all the way down - as low as it goes - no brainer.
Long term investment.
buying opportunity to average down.
Euro 88m comparable with 2018 and 2019 and dividend likely to be resumed otherwise they would have announced that.
Adding today.

Profit warning buy on dip day
To anyone who is smart enough to understand the AGM. When they speak of earnings per share; does this mean they are returning to paying dividends?
Buying on dip ... grim
Nice 200k buy
Good to see hospitality sector still busy
Let's hope so.!!
Looks the bottom
Why not
genuinely surprised that this hasn't bounced more than it has.
A company that has struggled during the pandemic and lockdown but the opportunity is now there to recover. The football and other events will help them immensely.
Personally, I don't drink cider however, I was in a bar at the weekend and the Magners was flying out of the fridge
why would it fall below RI price? I'd be chucking the kitchen sink at this if it got to anywhere near the RI price! They'll be well cashed up and should have a profitable summer.
Lufbraguy, get the point, but the whole sector must play " catch up" which it will not be able to. With the variants we know about it looks like a belowpar summer and christmas. God help us if " new variants" enter the scene.
Hmmm if you take their valuation price @ £3.04 on the 24th you wouldn't have thought it would go lower than £2.41 and if it does it should bonce higher after a few days.
Just my take on things!
that is a dead cert, question is how much below?
No you will have had to of own shares before end of play on the 24th (Monday).
This may be a stupid question - but if i buy shares today would i be entitled to participate in the rights issue.
Alongside the publication of its results for the year ended 28 February 2021, C&C Group PLC (“C&C”
or the “Group” or the “Company”) today announces its intention to raise gross proceeds of
approximately £151 million by way of a fully underwritten 6 for 23 Rights Issue at a price of 186 pence
per New Ordinary Share (the “Rights Issue”).
Big volumes of draft Tennents didnt pass over the bars of scotland as usual.
I thought we had all been drinking like fishes during the pandemic...just not cider??
