The barge development is important and much that they’ve had talks, good to see companies looking at deep exploration again. Good to se it’s a large player and I’m sure they’d be looking at possibility of acquisition so could be a large chunk of cash v annual rental. Same with 3AB if that came off.
Worst case we should make a few quid from the shallows but can our Mr Shin solve the blockage issues. A8 new intervals is encouraging but finding oil and flowing it are 2 different things.
In summary , lots of upside potential and very small downside if any.
Many years ago I was Smartypants on LSE but lost the nickname and not available on ADVFN. Very confusing but the agenda is simple, long on Casper and loads of money to be made.
Confused.com…….lol
KK/smarty/X2, CC on here as flaw complained I was using GSA, kept GSA for the other 2 platforms u chat to me on, use CC here.
I'm not that complicated lol.
Tick, tock .
We’ll done TW.
Timberwolf3 on other board.
Is that you GSA/CC/etc…..lol.
KK - Thank you, i use Lloyds.
Tick Tock
Wow, I’m obviously with the wrong broker. Do you mind saying who you used ? Regardless, good luck with your trades ??
Bought the 1m about 15 mins after you posted you could sell 2.5m in one go.
You could buy 1m online ? I was testing all day and max buy was 250k .
KK - No i didn't use broker, just bought max quantity available at the trade times,
Wolfi,
I stand corrected and I didn’t look at the timing of the 1m late reported trade. Did you work the trade through a broker ?
KumKuat - The 1m and the 750k were both my buys along with a couple of smaller ones.
I believe there’s a share consolidation coming but I don’t want that. If they did a 5:1 consolidation it takes the SII to c 450m and the sp to 16p and easy to issue healthy Divis . I’d much prefer the sp to be low and good news having a dramatic multi bagging effect. Stuff the Divis, get the sp back to double figures as a starter .
Well I haven't felt good about my investment here for a while. It's starting to feel like a real company again. :)
In essence you are saying that a run of positive outcomes, increased revenues/profits provides the possibility for dividends....all of which pushes the sp much higher for them to sell out........and us.
Awax,
I don’t get the Divi play unless they’re looking to attract other institutions into the game. Could be the strategy enabling the Oraziman clan to cash out on the journey to exit.
There aren’t many times when you get a real opportunity for multi-bagging performance with little risk but we have it here. The deeps are a long shot as history has proven but maybe Mr Shin is making the difference ? The horizontal success down to him ? The A team now on 153 and maybe same result ? The Dutch involvement on acid for the existing deeps ?
If A8 deeper horizons come off, this gets very silly indeed but they have to deal with the drilling challenges. They continue to pursue the existing deeps so they obviously believe they’ll get there at some point, I believe A5 glowing for 15 days is the reason that they stay with the program. Oil is there, can they exploit it with Mr Shin’s guidance ?
On another point the 1m and 518k trades were sells but the 750k was a buy. Mr Rig getting out ? maybe but must be flipping mad. We are currently looking a gift horse in the kisser and it’s time to load up as the rewards are far outweighing the risks but as always DYOR!
Thanks both, I had those sort of numbers in my mind, very material amounts. Good to be the only option.

May not exactly match Boaty's spec but here are some charter day rates
Quote: In 2017, the Caspian Explorer was hired out to a KazMunaiGas / Indian state oil company joint venture for $28 million after costs and drilled one exploration well to a depth of 3.5 km. In 2018, the Caspian Explorer was hired out KazMunaiGas for up to $24 million drilling one exploration well to a depth of 1.8 km. The Caspian Explorer did not operate in 2019 or to date in 2020.
Awax, they use the term dividends because we are now a profitable company as the interims indicated - even when Brent was $50 - $60 and output was just over 1200 bopd in H1
We are now experiencing Brent above $70 and domestic prices at $20. With 153 and 154 pumping 600 bopd and Yelemes back on stream we could hit 2500 early next year . My dodgy spreadsheet suggests we could reach0.6p - 0.7p EPS for a full year on these figures.
Dividends could come very easily, even for the profits earned in 2021. I would guess at between 0.1p and 0.2p per share without denting investment as outlined in today's RNS.
That's $21,600,000 p.a.
Think again........
I think the day rate for boaty is around $60,000.
