PJ left and this is a fresh start - it's not even clear to me whether they are interested in any of the assets that PJ et al did DD on. The stated objective is to look for producing assets that are distressed and where they can drop a rescue team in to turn them around. It'll be very different to the more pure exploration play that CAF would otherwise have been. There's also the issue that this strategy will mean they look for problem assets - so they'll have to be careful how they present any acquisitions they make or else we'll all just look at them and think "oh that's a bit pants" Just need to wait and see
okenia, it's reassuring to know you'e here... and waiting for something to happen. I know some seem disappointed at the "lack of progress" but it is very early days. I came here following PJ but am even more convinced this could be huge success, based on the new management team.
I'm here - basically waiting to see what happens. Not a lot to say at the moment, it's just been assembling a team and getting the company name back from a dodgy postie in Splott!
Looks like another blue day . 3.25p paid for small volume
As I said-back up.
Monday morning tree shake imo. Mm's trying to get shares cheap before further rise.
12% down this morning? showing only one share traded, seems odd?
Hi gg_man I haven't seen them on twitter, I didn't mean to give that impression, they post on lse on mining stocks. I mentioned them on my post because Screech and others will know their names from MTR. If they turn up here you will know their posts are worth noting!
thanks for the extra info, and Toze you are welcome.Lets hope we have another good blue day and news must be due anytime now GLA
Screech777 and Lottohopes, Thanks for your comments on RTO (posted under subject Re: Mr Chow). I will check the links you posted for more info. Thanks again.
Let's hope for another good week!
I was trying to read on this. Just to add to what Screech has said: an RTO requires the company to publish a new "admission document" setting out financial info, future plans etc In essence, during an RTO, the company is reborn, share holder/corporate structure changes, and it needs to do pretty much the work that it would do if it was newly listed, except the IPO work. The whole advantage of an RTO to the non public company is instant float on market, with the hassle/time delays/regulatory framework of IPO being avoided. So this regulatory work taking time can result in the RTO leading to suspensions for days/weeks...... https://www.burges-salmon.com/-/media/files/publications/open-access/aim_companies_corporate_transactions_and_the_aim_rules_for_companies.pdf Page 4 of 7 describes ways in which suspension could be avoided. "Shares in the AIM company will be suspended following the announcement that a reverse takeover has been agreed or is in contemplation until the company has published an admission document in respect of the enlarged entity. However the LSE will not suspend an AIM company if the target is on the Main Market or is another AIM company. n If shareholder approval is given trading in shares of the AIM company will be cancelled. The enlarged group can apply for admission in advance of the general meeting so that its shares are admitted on the day after the general meeting which approves the reverse takeover." This also makes me wonder if some of this diligent work is happening in the background BEFORE the RTO, to minimise the duration of suspension (if any) and allay investor anxieties. OR it's a main listing? OR it's another AIM cmpany? This is merely my rudimentary understanding of the process, and I m happy to be corrected on this. Exciting few weeks ahead for sure. Good luck all
PJ stated in his interview end of Jan that suspension is not liked by investors there for they will look to avoid as their are alternative routes in guidelines with the AIM.If we do go in suspension imo don't think it will be for long http://www.chinaafricares.com/about-us/investing-policy1
Screech777, Your post last Fri 23:53 you stated "......and when an RTO is done we may go into suspension....." Could you please elaborate. Suspension does not sound good at all !!!
for all of your kind words, we had a great finish on Friday and stocks can sometimes be quiet end of tax year.Hope you are all investing in your Isa's so you don't need to pay tax on your profits.I am looking forward to the week ahead and feeling confident that we will get news first of all confirming name change/new ticker, then let's see what else this high class Bod have in store for us GLA Great friendly board thanks for all your great posts and we know the herd will soon arrive here.
Really respect you for the charity work and fundraising
Hi Brycen. I could not find "Silverlight" or "MrSharp" on Twitter. Could you give me the full names?
Wow Screech what a great surprise I d never have found you on twitter! I m not on any of these media myself anyways. Thank you for sharing all your tips, and more importantly being so transparent/honest with your investment ideas. I got pointed towards CAF thanks to your tip elsewhere, and have taken a small punt on FDBK (given I haven't done my in depth reading yet on it). All the best with your meaningful charity work and please keep posting your tips.
Mr Chow I only have one account on twitter which I have 11.3k followers pls see my attached link.I have been fundraising since the age of 11 something I am passionate about and I have raised over 90k http://m.stokesentinel.co.uk/michelle-s-proud-supporters-city/story-12547440-detail/story.html
Your welcome
Screech u also have account under sm1975
Hi Screech I'd never have found you on twitter! I did try! Presumably Mr.B knew it? Your offer to share your research is generous and I hope it's appreciated by all who benefit from you revealing your twitter name. Over time you learn who are genuine investors such as MrSharp, Silverlight and Okenia, there are others who are also generous with their helpful comments. We are especially lucky on China Africa which is friendly and refreshingly free of trolls. You also learn from harsh experience there are some who have their own agenda. Sadly I suppose that'll happen here once Pembridge is better known! It comes with success. I had already started to take note of shares you follow as Screech. Your twitter id is really appreciated. Very many thanks. Brycen
Ok first of all I've been trading for over 6yrs and I think quite a few of you maybe suprised when I reveal my twitter name, but I am happy for anyone to follow me and my tips, but as always DYOR I spend ages researching, looking for undervalued plays with great projects and great management .I love resource stocks high/risk high reward but obviously they must have projects that are realistic and commodities in demand to get my attention . Always make sure you protect capital only risk what you can afford to lose. When I think a stock looks rich enough that's when I will decide to take cash off the table but always leaving skin in the game just in case of a super spike Every now and again a diamond of a share comes onto the market and for me it's fdbk they have ground breaking cancer software that can reveal features that are not always evident to the human eye.For me once they get the CE approval in may this will be milestone news for the co which imo will see significant increase in the SP.I will be holding longterm untill they get bought out by a major. Anyway always DYOR my twitter name @Michelle777*
Screech how can I find you on twitter? Your informed comments are always appreciated, many thanks.
MR B thankyou so much for your kind words.I am pleased to hear you are doing well and happy to share my tips with yourself and others.I am not sure who you are on twitter, but I'm made up with your kind comments.
