Would have been nice to have a hint of how the funding will work out. Certianly not through a placement at these levels.
Welcome news of activity on all fronts.and reminders of what we have. Hopefully the licence will soon be granted and glad to read of Northern Argentina too. Central South America has been productive for hundreds of years . Let's hope it proves so for us.
Has to drip feed something to justify the raise to pay salary cycle.
Thanks, CB
Have been waiting patiently for an update.
The application is in and sounding well advanced... https://audioboom.com/posts/8454846-midweek-takeaway-mining-indaba-2024-special-umr-maru-neo-afp-xtr-atn-glr-ura-k
I'm beginning to think that the licence was never submitted.
Shower of Muppets.
4k top up,thanx to he1.
MrT, I think everyone here has sold up or just lost interest. Just turn the lights off when you decide to leave the room lol
Every,
I have had a serious conversation regarding updates or lack of them here, with the company.
Apparently the lack of updates in respect of Mankayan was because the Nomad thought speculative commentary on Mankayan would create a "false market" whatever that may mean!!!
I pointed out that if anyone had created " false markets" here it was solely the Directors through lack of updates and total inaction.
I have been assured my comments in respect of Mankayan in particular will be passed onto to the board and I have specifically asked for quarterly updates on Mankayan to see what is actually happening, if anything! I pointed out that the only time we hear anything is when we are required to fund the project. Soon at the rate of dilution with said funding we will be left with next to nothing?
Let's see what happens.
Meanwhile the licence saga goes on at Hope!!!
What a total mess?

I have a small holding here but I do not want to waste money and time on RNS updates. However a podcast would be sufficient to update soon
Every
I received that nonsense in response to my first email before Christmas.
I've since sent further emails primarily in respect of Mankayan. The company denies any work is ongoing currently regarding infrastructure etc Mereley a little planting and road work????
The one-point I am unhappy about is they refer to AIM rules preventing them presenting commentary on Mankayan as the Nomad is concerned itcwill create a false market????
I nearly fell off my chair over this bull. The Directors have proceeded to crash the share price over the past 18 months thus creating a false market!!! The value of the company is now Nil or its value is more or less based on a cash shell!!! at best..
The mentioning of AIM regulation preventing the Directors updating the shareholders quarterly of action or inaction in respect of one of our major assets is quite frankly laughable at best or attemtingvto treat shareholders as if they are stupid!!
I'm continuing with this theme currently on email until I receive a satisfactory reason we as shareholders are not entitled to updates on our asset. It certainly has nothing at all to do with "false markets" whatever they may be that I'm certain of.
Mr T
Mr T,
Here is the response I received, basically just extracts from RNS as you say.
The summary below is from previous announcements but you will appreciate the Company is not permitted to brief individual shareholders though I appreciate this is frustrating for shareholders who take the time to write to the Company as you have.
Hope: We have submitted all information and plans that the Namibian Ministry has requested about the mining licence application but unlike some regulatory processes there is no fixed period by which they are required to make a decision. As indicated in the 4 December 2023 RNS negotiations are continuing with specific reference to the acquisition of existing infrastructure expected to significantly reduce upfront capital expenditure and reduce lead time to production by a minimum of 18 months. We are very actively working on the project and mentioned in the RNS the ongoing work re ore sorting test work, magnetic separation test work, characterization flotation test work, renewable power supply options and community and development initiatives and that the engineering design and costing work has enabled the company to move from a conceptual design to a generally agreed flow sheet and development strategy for the operation. We are also actively looking at financing options for Namibia. You are correct we are awaiting the renewal of EPL7170 and EPL 6605.
Mankayan: We reported on 29 September 2023 in the interims for the six months to 30 June 2023 that we are looking for this investment to be monetised either by direct trade sale or flotation on an individual or combined project basis. Bezant owns 24% of IDM International Limited which along with Crescent Mining Development Corporation the licence holder manage and are actively progressing the project and as we reported on 23 March 2023 they intend to complete a full Pre-Feasibility Studies during 2023 and 2024 with the aim of presenting the Mankayan Project as a globally significant copper-gold project which will enhance the prospects of a trade sale or floatation.
Eureka: Our strategy remains as reported on 29 September 2023 in the interims for the six months to 30 June 2023 namely to maintain the Eureka Project in good standing and seek a joint venture partner for the exploration of the Eureka Project. In this regard during the period we had an updated Environmental Impact Assessment approved which provides for environmental monitoring and a drill program encompassing 9 drill holes of 200-300 metres each.
The Directors are working on the company’s projects and like you are disappointed that the market does not value them more but AIM rules do not permit the disclosure of running commentaries on ongoing initiatives and negotiations being undertaken as the Nomad and regulator are concerned this will potentially create false markets. Again I appreciate this is frustrating for shareholders.
Mr T,
I have received a response but I haven’t had a chance to read it yet, I will share once I’m back from work later
Every,
Response received?
The same old bla bla nothing to report?

Mr T
Colin Bird's just posted on Twitter. Nothing about BZT.
Perhaps we should bombard him with replies.
Every
I suggest we keep emailing the Company until a satisfactory reply is forthcoming.
Mr T
Mr T,
Completely agree! the last update we had on mankayan was march 2023! Mention of it in the half year report but no new information. The last we heard they were talking to financing houses to finance the PFS- a PFS can be completed in 6 months as it’s mainly a desktop study. Something isn’t quite right
Every
Exactly my point re Crescent
We should have quarterly updates from Mankayan?
I can't understand why we can't have them?
Mr T
Mr T,
I understand they can’t give out information that’s not in the public domain but I’ve found information that’s in the public domain. For example cresent are doing the required public works- building roads in mankayan, it’s on their Facebook page. A quick search and you can find all the documents for epl 7170 re application. So there is information in the public domain but the company keep shareholders in the dark. It’s all about consistent news on aim- unfortunately the company only seems to release news when they are planning to raise then its silence again.
Every
I had an email exchange with Mike Allardice mid December about those exact thoughts. He basically parroted the recent RNS updates previous to my contact which was fair comment as he cannot give out information not in the public domsin. I wanted to know and still wamt to know why we can't have quarterly updates on Mankayan!!! No satisfactory answer was forthcoming!!!! I gave up eventually. I did get a response though.
This is now getting rather tedious, maybe it's time to ask the shareholder group to start compiling a list of questions for CB and make contact again with him to see what the hell is going on.
Mr T
I have emailed the company multiple times and no one has responded- there should be news on an in house mineral resource estimate for Kanye, mining license at hope, EPL 7170 being renewed which was applied for in September/October last year, waiting on a review of that according to the ECC website. News on mankayan? PFS surely must be on the way to being finished, it’s dreadful comms from the company- does anyone actually work there?
Almost a couple of months since the placing . It would be a help to get news of progress in the works to move forward, particularly in Namibia but Kanye should have news too by now, shouldn't it? Hope to hear something soon please, Colin.
