No, the salient point regarding the scientific technology has not not been addressed. To verify that the technology could indeed help against coronavirus would substantiate any rumours
We have discussed this and they are certainly involved but sworn to secrecy. Read the comments
Llama antibodies
Hybrigenics are involved with what? With covid or bioventix?
If sheep antibodies really are as high affinity as stated then there is a good chance they are involved in some of the coronavirus tests under development
There is a company involved Hybrigenics
There is a company involved Hybrigenics
i like your thinking ... i was reading about the llama and its antidotes .. not too far from a sheep why arnt we all over this ?
Early on thee was a small intimation that they were involved. Look at previous comments not a huge amount to go through.public communications are not encouraged.
Invested here because I like the company for its fundamentals. However, but there could be a coronavirus side.
I know their website states that sheep antibodies have 100 times higher affinity that rodent antibodies and I have found some resources stating that sheep antibodies have affinity to the 10ยน4 M range. Does anyone have any publications supporting this?
If affinity is at this stated level then it could be used in an antibody point of care test to detect antigen.
Rooky early on someone mentioned involvement but no evidence. In view ofvwhst they do I am sure they will benefit. " it's an I'll wind that blows nobody any good"
Hi Bruce,
As I understand it, companies that are involved in the Coronavirus fight have been warned not to make public announcements as it would look as if they could be taking benefit of the virus.
Of course in all situations, money is made.
Not suggesting that Bioventix is involved, but they surely will have some impact, if not now, in a few weeks/months.
Of course, the advice as to publicity has to be balanced with market rules.
This is a unique company dealing with antibodies differently from competitors. They have a virtual monopoly with a royaltymon each test. There is a deathly hush. What is going on behind the scenes.
Thanks.
Looking forward to a few discussions on this thread.
Very best of luck sir. Hope you do very well.
Having first come across this company a couple of weeks ago and then watching/researching the company, decided to buy in.
Missed the lowest point, but still feel I have bought in at a very good price, especially as companies in the same/similar field as Bioventix will be looked at in a more serious and important vain due to the current crisis.
Clear
Very strong results
However they are not clear what the impact of the CV19 epidemic will be (+ve of -ve) and do not provide a cear forward view for 2020.
I am starting to think that the demand for testing people in quarantine for Vit D levels will be greatly reduced! The virus outbreak could also affect testing of people for reproductive hormones. As fertility testing is put on hold and COVID patients are prioritised.
..cut this daisy to hold some cash in this chitty market. Good luck to all holders.
Even better if they got publicity
... it was one of BVXP's antibodies that helped to formulate the artificial 'Chinese' virus just announced, it would be rather nice if a RNS appeared! Of course, there may be no way of knowing.
Only the CEO seems to own shares. Surprising
Spot on sir
All looking brilliant. Amazed at how MANY peeps actually know about BVXP. Nowhere near enough shares to satisfy demand - which means that I would be INSANE to sell.
Look at this web site. There is hardly any free float less than 10% by my reckoning. I wonder what will happen
