I find it sad to see people on here still attacking Diane Abbot in this way. To call a woman from a minority group racist is not only ridiculous but something only a racist would do.
To think a majority, privileged white culture requires those protections and labels is utterly ridiculous & something even a thinking racists would deliver tongue in cheek.
All of this doesn’t account for the fact Diane Abbot is in fact one of the most abused people in public life, by racists and other unpleasant groups
To indulge in this behaviour in public view for all to see and then claim ignorance or deny this reality is a measure of the sickness some of you find yourselves in.
Stupid is what stupid does, it always denies it, always blames others & always sees itself a superior.
if you could actually do what you keep saying you are going to do and 'stop indulging' that would be really good thanks.
Aus, you seem to think that anybody who holds sensible views which you don't agree with is therefore racist, idiotic and a lunatic. Accusations of racism without evidence are generally the last resort of a fool. You seem to believe that your views are the only ones allowable. You seem to fit in well with the bigots of some of the remain tribe, and indeed appear have a huge chip on your shoulder.
I don't insult you by calling you a lunatic, though it would appear the cap fits you well.
If there is any contagion of Dunning Kruger I suggest you look in a mirror to see what somebody riddled with it looks like, because you certainly act like it.
Again, I won't indulge in a battle of wits with such an obviously unarmed person, so I'll keep on laughing at your puerile comments.
Have a nice day !
Blue is it only you and I who think right wing propaganda has convinced all the lunatics that everyone else is indeed a lunatic?
The difference I suspect is for a fleeting second I wonder which camp I’m in. Then of course I read village idiot & friends an know the truth
It’s like a super contagion of Dunning Kruger sweeping the nation. Evidence of truth is contained within previous posts, these two have made aching fools out of themselves citing racist propaganda sources as evidence their poison isn’t racist or propaganda........ is it possible to be that thick & still be convinced of your superiority ? .... sad
ok bluepete, i give up. I never intended to get into a battle of wits with an unarmed person like you. I think it's cruel to do so.I'll simply ignore your childish comments and treat them with the contempt they deserve. Go forth.
Good manners?? You’ve cracked me up completely now. You just keep on talking s##t if you so desperately need to try to convince yourself you’re right. I really don’t even start to give a toss.
No bluepete, not more evidence.. Just total proof of your ridiculous mindset. You're the one with the closed mind, closed to reality, common sense, and good manners.
More evidence
Seems to me that the closed minds are those foolish and misguided souls who post drivel on here. Who do i have in mind?.. why Aus and blue pete, obnoxious and insulting.. Have you ever thought that normal people have different views to you 2?. Aus your devotion to that racist diane abbot would be commendable if she ever spoke any kind of sense, when you watch the vids of this idiot you'll notice she always looks to the ceiling for inspiration, that's generally the sign of somebody engaging that small part of their brain which allows the porkies to shine through.
Give over lads (or lasses or whatever) and respect other peoples viewpoints, which compared to yours are much more intelligent and valid.
Confirmation
Thanks guys. Agree about the value situation but used a simple example to see if the principal was a workable one. If this were to happen then at least we would still hold shares in the company, have a bond, for what its worth, a small or no dividend, but no BB bill each month, thats one night a month down "t" pub.... Oh and a packet of crisps.
A bit more from the article:
"Credit system
With Pension Credit, Savings Credit, State Second Pension, Winter Fuel Allowance, supplementary cold weather payments, Christmas bonuses, Council Tax benefit and Housing benefit swamping pensioners heads, Bamford seems to have a point.
Malcolm Small, director-general at the Centre for Retirement Reform, agrees. He brands the current system a 'bamboozling morass introduced by governments of whatever hue'. And Labour has not helped make things easier.
Dr Ros Altmann, a former pensions adviser to Tony Blair goes even further. She says: 'Pension credits undermine private pension savings. Our state pension is just about the lowest in the developed world.
'Because the state pension is so inadequate, Labour introduced the Pension Credit, a means tested top-up to the state pension which can bring pensioner incomes up to at least £130 a week.
'Yet anyone over 60 can still get £130 a week, even if they have never paid National Insurance, as long as they don't have much private pension or other income."
An article from 2010
'Yet anyone over 60 can still get £130 a week, even if they have never paid National Insurance, as long as they don't have much private pension or other income.
Iron Lady: Margaret Thatcher's government was responsible for cutting the Pensions-Earnings link in 1980
'The Government is creating a significant disincentive to people, especially lower earners, to bother contributing to pensions at all.'
Bamford adds: 'If one person saves carefully into a pension fund all their life and another squanders away their money on booze and fags, they may well both end up with exactly the same income in retirement.'

"This is not true, I have a job, investment, love my country and am not after freebees but this time I will vote labour."
You probably think I'm a true blue tory from birth, but nothing could be further from the truth. I was born in Manchester and spent my entire school life in Salford. My Grandfather was a shop steward who lived on a council estate in Eccles. My Grandfather's related to a Labour politician, Terry Lewis, so I originate from a solid Labour background. Much of my close family are strong Labour supporters, but seem more critical of Corbyn than Tory voters I know.
It was Gordon Brown's pension raid which eventually lead to my Final salary pension being frozen, which means that I'm now relying on dividend share investments to make up the difference. So a Labour policy that encouraged me to invest in shares, to top up my retirement income, is now being threatened by yet another Labour chancellor that want's to purloin a chunk of my investments, which degrades my retirement income. My career has been in Engineering, so a large part of my income has been topped up by significant amounts of overtime. I'm not someone who's sat on their backside watching the money roll in, I have a considerable amount of work time tied up in my investments.
You can vote Labour if you want, but should they win I reckon you'll regret it in years to come.
I don’t know why you waste your time either Aus. I admire your commitment to your principles and you standing up for what you believe in but you’re dealing with closed minds and a level of virulence that’s beyond help.
The concept of the split would be of interest NDN and as I’ve said before I think a ‘free’ BT would be a good thing. Not sure whether the split values are ‘correct’, partly because the SP doesn’t seem to represent true value of the business in its current form but what BT would be left with (ee, business voice and data etc) should be attractive.
Sorry NDN you’re right of course. I don’t know why I waste my time with these grubby weirdos.
I can’t really see the offer will be anything other than that. As share holders we lose out / dividends verses bond and at the lower / lowest level of share price.
I’m not sure any of this is likely, even if Labour get in, I can see the whole industry in court.
Luckily we still have an independent judiciary
So nobody able to comment on my proposition without politics. I shall try again. Bond £1. Share £1 is that a solution. For those who don't know what I am talking about go back about a million pages to around 6pm last night. Only person close was Velo.
Village & long - you are the gift that just keeps giving.
I almost can’t believe you use Andrew Neil as evidence that you are not slaves of far right propaganda
Andrew Neil, spectator magazine owned by the Barclay brother (in charge of propaganda) listof journalists employed by spectator let’s start with Rod Little
Obviously your chief witness the independent Andre Neil is editor when this and other articles were published. I know you won’t read it, because it holds a mirror to your faces
But this is your evidence you are both decent citizens who just like to listen to Andrew Neil & his lovely mates when it comes to objective views

& that’s just the start of the dirty little places you get your world view from.
Aus
'' I am interested where you get your ideas of Diane Abbott being a racist from, because there very dodgy sources ''

Aus
''unpleasant characters behind the leave campaign''
''So deeply unpleasant in fact most decent people realised it was rotten to the core from start to finish''
So decent people not among the 17.4 million people in your opinion?.
Maybe they didn't have the same view as you about the 'leave' campaign having
unpleasant characters.
Village whilst waiting for our nurses to come in, I thought I’d google “Diane Abbot racism”
The first 7 or 8 pages mention nothing other than poor Diane being singled out for racist abuse, by racists
Eventually reached Diane being accused of racism by racists (obviously not understanding concepts of minority groups nerving these protections)
Strange to see you singling her out like this village? I wonder where you get these ideas from? Your mate and his breaking point poster?
She looks bar far the victim rather than the abuser on a scales of several thousand to one, most abused woman in public life apparently .....
Village - As much as I love giving you th opportunity to show your ugliness, I have to go man soup kitchens and hand out blankets. I know that’s surprising in 2019 in the 6th (was the 5th) biggest economy. Try not to confuse poor Fleccy into thinking these are for wasters, in this country it’s the only way our nurses can find something to eat.
But you obviously think that’s okay.
Still not quite understanding that racist concept for some reason ? Did you use that Conservative site they re-branded as an official Fact Check ... Goebbels would have been proud of that deception, I bet that got your juices going!!!
Aus, I totally respect Fleccy and certainly have learned from him about BT and investment. It just seem too much of politics these days turned many of us into tribal political party fans. I really hope something good happens and country come together for the best.
