Another ahead of expectations - great.
Saltire, if you had bet the farm on the sp in november, you could now buy a whole fleet of cars!
Never mind the share price i want to win a new car .
'Once again ahead of expectations and a special divi - so hoping for sp increase today'.
Its going up fine . Might even go up further in Jan happy days .
I have been here with BOTB..
The shares are very tightly held.
Very little wiggle room...
Not a trading share.
-- BB--
Trading continues ahead of expectations , why not the sp?
Great results and confident out look.
At last the sp is moving up ready for next weeks announcement .
Great!!
out
What does that mean ?
So they want to but 1 of every 14 shares you own at £4.70? 75% owned by the bod...
Not going to bother now as you say - illiquid.
Given the 1 in 14 offer and using yesterdays closing price, then a rise of 20p or so would have been more appropriate.
The share is quite illiquid so maybe that's the reason. I would have preferred that the company to continue their share buyback programme and give a special dividend
Acceptance of the Tender Offer will constitute a return of capital of 485 pence per share in respect of each Ordinary Share tendered.
Ok completely missed the other rns -
The Company announced today that it intended to return surplus cash to Shareholders by way of a tender offer, pursuant to which finnCap will purchase, as principal, up to approximately 7.1 per cent. of the Company's Ordinary Shares (1 Ordinary Share for every 14 held) at a price of 485 pence per Ordinary Share, on the basis that the Ordinary Shares that finnCap purchase under the Tender Offer will be subsequently repurchased from it by the Company pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Repurchase Agreement.
saw the update.. saw it 20% up... didn't think much of update... now 40% up... and year high... might re-read it lol.
The reason the spread is so bad is that the Directors/Management own most of the shares.
The spread may be mitigated if there is another special dividend- 7.5p last year, paid in February.
Should be a good update next week - but bad spread here. Very good Trustpilot score, unlike most of the gambling companies. Quite a demanding P/E, but this seems to be a very well run co.
Once again Im optimistic before further news. I expect player numbers to have increased although perhaps not at the rate of previous expansion but what I think will be good is that I think average spend per player will have gone up due to the introduction of the lifestyle competition which seems to have gone from a small affair to a much more important contributor to profits. No sign that that the commitment to quality has been watered down so I expect some uplift. Il be a bit disappointed if we dont see 3 either just before or on news
Plenty cash , good move to reduce stakes here that should attract more custom plus probable vat returns , Dividend will let us know more still looking good..
The BOTB sp has been slipping for quite a while ever since the RNS announcing the possible overpayments of vat and the implementation of the remote gaming levy that will have a negative impact on profit. The claim with HMRC will claw back £4.5 in vat which is promising though. The share buyback has started in earnest which may also help the sp and any divi paid. I feel the sp will slip a little more due to uncertainty and the prospect of higher tax levies going forward and until the vat claim has been resolved though.
I cant help but think these are due a bump at the end of the month, recent bad news has been priced in but the company seems to be doing nicely
Are botb going to sell green fuel cars with bit coins . All joking aside there may be a very lucrative addition to add value to the company . A start up in the Netherlands called Bolt Mobility are making an app electric scooter with a 400km range with a big storage compartment . This is going to be big as the Dutch government are implementing a clean air ban on polluting scooters in Holland . If botb offer about 20 of these a week then that would attract a lot of customers and help with the green effort. Merry Chrismas paul.
