The rig i work on has maintained the same rates for 5 years due to polymer injection the only way to increase production is to drill more wells , or sidetrack wells .Most wells unless using polymer will leave 30% of recoverable in the ground but polymer inj will help to get this to 90%.
The EOR polymer inj project is not designed to increase production it sustains the the current oil flowing out of the wells .
Back in Nov i was thinking this would go up and i cant remember when i sold but made a few k's but if i had stayed the course then i would be a happy man today and as for Betie Basset saying its not a trading share !!!!
Never mind the share price i want to win a new car .
Its going up fine . Might even go up further in Jan happy days .
John that was funny hope your driveway got cleaned up .I did the same with my drain plug on the back of my Alaska 500 boat lucky i got it back to the slipway on time .
£500 to change the hoses go to another garage .
After all the news in the press about Hurricne it is depressing that the share price is going south but at least it is not dropping like Premier Oil .Hurricane is stable compaired to others .
SIPPn00b having worked on the rigs for over 33 years and still do i know what goes on offshore and when an Installation Manager moans about having to buy flare concents it does happen irrespective of what you think .
Do folks think that oil company's will shut down production because they are way over the flare concent ? not a hope in hell they can pay the gov for excess flaring but they dont want to do that so they get round it .
The gov are always going to help out the oil company's because of the tax they get from them .
Company's who operate in the uk sector can buy and sell flare concents , so HUR could buy some from another oil company if they cant get rid of there excess.
What is it with all the hate on these boards , being new to these forums i come on here and look for advice and a bit of banter but its like the JKile show on the keyboard .
I hope that these shares will be a winner but just need to wait and see having worked in the north sea for over 30 years i am well aware what is going on, patience is a virtue that a lot of folks on here dont seem to have .
For the folks who dont have a clue how the hook up will happen there was a programme on Discovry last night showing the whole process. It is called Mighty Ships and it followed the Mearsk Pelligrino .
Do you seriously think that Premier have the money to buy Chevron's assets which include the shares Chevron hold in Brittania, Clair Ridge , Elgin ECT , i know Chrysor want the Erskine as the oil/Gas is routed through the Lomond which they own .It might be the case that someone will buy the lot and just sell off what they dont want but thats a big risk .
Obvious benefits’ to more North Sea acquisitions says Premier boss in the energy news today !!!
Just saw it pass by the Rig i work on took a few pictures good luck to all who have invested.
