I have studied these trends closely for a number of years. It seems many on this board are only seeing top line success, yet they are failing to dig deeper into the social rationale as to why Boohoo and fast fashion are performing so well, particularly in the UK as it's the UK consumer driving the volume and growth.
The boozy and Instagram obsessed British 18-30 year woman is a byproduct of modern age feminism and "living their best life" means they are reluctant to settle down in meaningful relationships, manage finances and health. Hence why all these young women have "anxiety" & "depression"
These attributes are key in the cycle of a throwaway and casual fast fashion culture because it's reflective of the other aspects of their lives, casual and cheap. These are the fundamentals which has driven the culture to be buying a new Boohoo dress every week.
We are definitely going to see a boom in IVF companies. The old saying "what goes up, must come down" is accurate of the midst we are in. This casual fornication and boozing is their priority and many naively assume they will settle down early 30's (this is the up and the stage we are in) - Then comes the down, this looks like women in their mid 30's scrambling for a partner and pregnancy with diagnosed PCOS, Endometriosis and so forth. IVF will be mainstream very soon.
Maranello
I think you are spot on here and wether you like it or not we are all profiteering from this perceived feminism boom.
What are your thoughts on the direction of this over the next 5 years? Do we all jump onto IVF companies as the new age feminists have spent their fertile years matching male counterparts for ‘equality’?

@Peoplepower1 didn't need to really do any research, as is fairly obvious when you are copying text off the web, as opossed to your usual flow of incoherent angry gibberish, it was well structured and thought out. It was mostly the application of common sense, you should Google it.
I looked at two of your posts in the last day, am sure if I went back that the majority that weren't copy and pasted from your own personal doctrine or were not attacking someone to defend the fact that you have as much depth as a puddle, would be plagiarised.
The difference between you and me is that I know I have made decent money, you won't know for the next 20 years, which was 10 years when you first posted on the Boohoo board in 2019 and not 2015 as you keep on stating.
Marinello - feminism is about standing up for women and fighting for equality.
Misogyny is about keeping women down.
Marinello - you're very welcome. Amazing what you can find, if you do some research. I learnt from it too. I was glad I found it and could copy and paste it for others to read and learn.
Misogyny is negative. It's obvious you're a misogynist when you can't see its negative bias against women. Hopefully you'll learn one day to respect women.
It's a pity feminism isn't glorified, maybe one day that'll happen, I hope so.
So the modern female is doing the same as the modern male . Isn't that equality?
steveknowsnothin - you actually did some research, wow, well done you, I am getting through to you. I'll make you into a researcher yet and you'll be able to make loads of money from holding great shares like Boohoo for 20 years plus in ISAs.
Personally, I thought it was a great description of misogyny, I couldn't have put it better myself, hence why I used it. Hopefully people will have learnt something from reading it.
And you found another one I used which again summed up how to predict future share prices in words much better than I could have put it. This is what I use to predict future share prices. Some people use fundamental analysis, some use technical analysis. I use both.
I find on here that most people never bother to click on links and read everything in full so I copy and paste it in the hope that will help them to read it in full and learn.
@marnello just to clarify, even though I called Peoplepower1 out. I completely disagree with what you are saying and do not want to be complicit with it.
Thank you Peoplepower1 for that copy & paste description of misogyny that steveknowsnothin has kindly uploaded, I was unaware of my misogynistic tenancies but I can sleep safely thanks to your diagnosis.
You state misogyny as a negative, although I disagree. It allows your to see opportunities. We are living in an era where feminism is glorified, ironically this is beneficial to us all on this board that is invested in Boohoo. The era of the modern female are booze & cocaine fuelled weekends whilst buying and discarding Boohoo/PLT outfits galore for pictures in front of bathtubs and flower walls for the Instagram glitterati.
They are dumber and more demanding than ever chasing these hedonistic lifestyles, it's the perfect recipe for Boohoos continual success. Long may it continue.
Plagiarisingpower1 should be their new handle.
Actually, nearly everything you write is a straight rip from google. Here is a link to what "you wrote" on predicting the future price of shares.

Actually, copy and pasted straight from a vox article.

Nitin Passi would have made more money last year if he just bought BOOHOO shares. What a very odd TV production it was. That photo shoot manager was a ruff and old boots. You can’t run a company with all them headless women they are just sat around eating Haribo at their desk scrolling through Instagram all day calling it work.
What a disgrace.
Amazing! 5 adverts for plt, boohoo, boohooman, mishap and ng during the programme itself and then a plt advert at the end too! Nitin must be fuming! Lmao!
Plus misspap and nastygal! Have to admit I’m very impressed.
Boohooman and Boohoo adverts during the ad breaks. Well done Boohoo! Fingers on the pulse.
It’s making me angry and happy at the same time! Angry because I can’t believe they have allowed this rubbish and act like absolute w**kers. Happy because of how good BooHoo are in comparison and the genius of putting their themselves in the adverts. Classic move
Totally agree. Maybe Kamani will buy them out for a fiver.
They have definitely been ‘Miss Guided’ in the production of this shambles
Awful representation of the company. Very unprofessional and will do them more damage than good IMO. Can’t believe how bad it is
