@ iG
I’ve not seen you posting here before ? Are you a newbie investor in BOD?
Upon looking at your posting history, you seem to be very positive most if not all of the time in all shares you post on? What’s your ‘win-rate’ might I ask, if you don’t mind.
You are expecting a fast move higher soon in the BOD sp? What do you see as being the catalyst to move this share upwards in the near-term?
I’m just checking to make sure in my own mind as a LTH, that you’re not here to pump what might be your own agenda, for a 10 or 20% profit?
Atb
Looks like buyers are turning up now. I expect a fast move higher soon
Agree, all funds in place, or I would look to increase, but have a large slice here already. A lot going on, if not always 'telegraphed here' . In the end, there is one simple part... diamond prices will start from here, to settle and increase. This will invigorate the mining and in that a need for future 'high quality and special stones', which Botswana in particular has.
Think this is the level we get a big upside run from here
Way way oversold
I am also thinking the same for annual results , and increased expenses, they are not going to look great, in my opinion a deal in botswana is some time off yet but we could be holding on results for thorny river permits
I have heard from James that the annual results are out "shortly".
I strongly suspect that in his report James will highlight the future prospects for the company and that in terms of income earned ,this will not amount to much, owing to the sharp decline in diamond prices, hence the need for the recent raise.Perhaps work on the newly discovered blow at Marsfontein is also on hold, hence the lack of any updates for some time.Certainly the markets are not behaving as if anything exciting is about to be released because the sp is being held at the current level despite a decent level of buying taking place.Quite a contrast to the depressing slow decline of the sp which occurred on daily sales volumes which were probably less than the current level of buying.
Last year annual results where released on 8th December.im wonder are they waiting to sign of a J.V . On ghaghoo and kx36 . combined .are finalized the water licence on thorny river before releasing this year's annual report just a thought
Looks like great news today in the RNS :)
I’m wondering what timeframes we are looking at for the new exploration to bear (hopeful) fruit?
Great post Perr.
Fingers crossed 2024 will be a monster year for BOD
I suspect you're thinking along the right lines, but I've a gut feeling it's bigger than just KX and Ghaghoo - James's presentation of a couple of weeks ago mentions a couple of other producing/potenially-quickly-in-production mines not far away (in Kalahari terms anyway) including Lerala which is the right size, location and on care and maintenance since the (local) owners haven't done anything with it since acquiring it a couple of years ago, and perhaps more significantly mines belonging to DeBeers/Debswana (though I'm guessing not Jwaneng or the main Orapa operation - too big/developed, too old, but Daamtshaa would be an interesting fit).
The concept of a joint effort for a mid-tier operation to mine and market diamonds from the CKGR with these components (plus perhaps others) is a strong one given that all the pieces are largely already in place, with production already happening or can be made to happen in short order. Then there's the whole Maibwe/Sekaka/Sunland prospects to add exploration and development of new resources into the mix, all of which the State has already stated it strongly desires (and, who knows, may even provide some backing).
Like I said earlier, big big stuff for a very small company to be involved in, and beyond exciting were it to come to pass.
Yes, that has been the plan that James has been wanting for quite some time. There is alignment there, just look at the presentation James have last month, that I mentioned and James reposted today on X
Could there be JV tie up be ghaghoo and KX 36 as ghaghoo is care and maintenance with processing plant as ll ready there
Techguru all good points and agreed.
The 'sudden' decision to make this move on KX36 cannot be insignificant, the very directed nature of James's presentation the other day was not insignificant and the specific mention of Ghaghoo in the RNS is, I suspect, not insignificant either. It all points to a bigger picture process of creation of a more substantial 'thing' being done in the Kalahari presumably with JV partners. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out who they are most likely to be - just look at who else has operations nearby plus the declared desire of the State to increase and polarise production in the country - and, if true, likely to big big news for a very small company. It would push TR and Mars into relative insignificance (even though they were, I know, the reason many of us bought in here originally and I share the frustration of some others re the lack of information). But circumstances change, opportunities arise, and this one looks very exciting indeed.
There should be plenty to say at MARS given the length of time its has been worked now both on the gravels and new blow. Furthermore when making a capital raise I would have expected data on MARS revenues in support/explanation for that action.
Great to also see James reposting this, telling us what can be the next Big step for BOD https://www.slideshare.net/JamesAHCampbell1/the-economic-diamond-potential-of-the-kalahari-of-botswana
I would think the annual report should be out anytime We will get update then Thorne river update would be welcome on the water licence
To be fair it was only a very small raise and it was done at market price. I'm told was just friends and family. They haven't raised anything for a long time so a top up before lift off isn't that unexpected
The market is a bit bent and at 0.5p its stupid cheap. If there was something to update on MARS it would have been. There are many things going on behind the scenes and there is an order to events
Big JV deals or potential takeover bids don't just get announced. I suspect we will all be very happy in the months ahead but share your frustration short term
However opromising RNS this morning
Have not been looking at RNS news or bulletin board for past couple of weeks.
Hugely dissappointed to learn about the latest capital raise and dilution to existing investors. I thought the story was that furher dilutions would be not needed based on MARS revenues.
Why have we still not been updated on MARS? Why is no one pushing for that and all the more so in the light of the new raise. Its time that BOD made more timely disclosures of key fianancial / performance information. Getting really hacked off now. James may be a good guy but leaving us in the dark does not sit well with me for one
VERY promising
How is this trading at 0.5p all time lows
Has to be a big move up from here now

Echo I hear you.
I totally understand that you’ve nailed your colours to James’s mast. And that’s your prerogative.
Fwiw, were I James, I wouldn’t have put such a low placing price on existing shareholders.
But you’re correct, James now needs to deliver the goods.
Let’s hope his hopefully imminent news delivers a 100% sp uplift :)
Yes, we are all very much feel your frustration rich. The diamond market isn’t great at the moment and that’s very much contributed to the current situation. But the amount of work James has had to put in to acquire the permits for thorny river seems absolutely ridiculous. Personally I’m not invested in a company. I’m invested in James Campbell. He is very hard working on a fantastic CEO. Only time will tell as to whether we’ve made the right judgement here.
But around things off, I would say that is a fantastic buy for 4 million shares this afternoon :-)
Herein lies the problem imv when existing shareholders are effectively carved up by such a low placing. Many will already have spent their hard earned buying or topping up at considerably higher prices and may not be able or willing to throw more in at current levels. New investors can question what’s happened and be put off. It just leaves a bad taste in the mouth. I thought things were moving along nicely on my own investing account but now find my holding considerably underwater.
Now, I don’t wish to be overly dour and critical because it’s pointless. A company will do what it’s going to do.
And I’m not doubting that the share price can rise significantly again from here, if and when good news is released. But it’s going to have to be great news to drag us back up to a penny - at which point many of the placing shares and those bought in the open market may be sold, or have already been sold.
Time will tell but I hope the company delivers great news and soon. We don’t want the sp languishing down at these levels for long because in my experience a low sp can become a bad habit.
Aimho, best of luck to all
Wish I could buy like Echo, I added quite heavily some time back. Still have absolute faith and if I can raise more funds I will add although I don’t imagine we will remain at this level for too much longer.
No I’m not buying at current levels despite wanting to. Had a big to up at 1p quite a few months ago.
If ANGS comes good I’ll be ploughing it in here though
