Just bought some more shares in BOD, I see this as the bottom, it may bounce along here as the real Diamond price does... but soon we will see segmentation to LAB diamonds for costume jewellery and people wanting real diamonds again for the bigger purchases such as engagement rings. Especially in US. We can all buy a bottle of Scotch... but only those made in Scotland are truly Whisky. Same will happen here with Diamonds.
The movement down is on relatively small amounts, the upscale when diamond prices recover and all the opportunities will mean we see a set of jumps back towards and hopefully past 1p. As ever... Patience.
Despite the price action down here fundamnetally we are in such a strong position
Plenty going on behind the scenes and plenty of big deals to be made
I wonder if we hear something on Ghaghoo diamond mine soon regarding someone bidding for it
Think this can and will explode into life from this area soon. Far too cheap
Excellent post JP.
We will find, that as inflation is now starting to get under control, this year of elections will pass, an enlarged middle class will start to occur and naturally we will see a Bull market. From that a segmentation into LAB diamonds for costume jewellery (think Pandora) and 'REAL Diamonds' for the 'big occasions', and the under investment in mines will make our Portfolio, 'jump'. Also, as the market sweeps up shares and crypto's, then AI comes into real place... we will have a share that will be 'wanted', for the future potential multi-bag, it can be.
Very honest and decent RNS..no bull.
Good stuff
Hugely undervalued ay £4m Mcap
At last some really positive news. Hopefully this will inject some upward momentum in the share price
Thanks for Progress update JC.
Yes in these Dire times, most pleasing to hear some Good News / may rest of the week bring more to us all in our other investments.
1. A gravity survey has discovered a high-grade anomaly similar in size or larger than BOD's KX36 high-grade kimberlite pipe in the Kalahari.
2. Positive progress on the awarding of the Thorny River Mining Permits.
3. There is renewed interest in the Ghaghoo diamond mine.
4. A Prospecting Licence was granted over diamond properties in Eswatini after a long application period.
Was only about 8 Months ago many on here were talking of 4p+.
Now they seemed to have disappeared into depths of their Telegram Bubble.
Well you can buy at 0.357p anyway so why beat around the bush ha
Soon you'll be selling them at 1p+
Here, Here!!
Come on MM's, a spread of 14.286%...utter nonsense, get your finger out of your butt and drop the ASK price. FFS
This along with my other decent holding are still under the radar to many & I expect both to perform very well pretty soon.
I like the management style of both.
Narrowest one I have seen for some time.Actual sale price quoted at 0.36 and purchase price of 0.365 for 1m shares which suggests that todays transaction at 0.365 was actually a buy and not a sell ,which I am always happy to see.
I suspect its because they are on the cusp of a major deal of some kind. Flurry of buying today. Rare as its usually very quiet
I iexpect things to change here very soon
I have regular chats on Linkedin with JC. There is a lot of 'organising' going on, prospective Joint Ventures, chasing SA mining dept for the Water License... but mainly this is because of one thing... the Rough Diamond price. It has stalled, after the big drop, and everyone, especially those looking to mine afresh, are holding. No use in their minds spending money on getting diamonds to make only a little. Once that rough diamond price moves, and it will, there is a definite segmentation occurring between Lab and Real, then we go from tumbleweeds to a wave of RNS's. It's annoying, but we are tied directly to that Diamond Price.
Does anyone know why JC / the BoD are very quiet these days? No interviews for months. Not alot on twitter. The RNS's have dried up completely. There has been no real news of note now for over a year. All seems very strange. The share prce has died with most people now needing 300%+ to break even. JC gets paid very well and we are not seeing much in the way of updates these days. Been here for years but the past one has been a very strange one indeed.
Julian and JPW are very much on the money.
And that’s it.
I'm holding here, and do believe especially in James Campbell. The most simple correlation I have seen is the Rough Diamond price as a graph and our share price. Once the value of rough diamonds starts to rise (and it's hit bottom of that curve and looks to be about to turn up), then we will see a rise in SP. Around that time, it could be someone tries to buy us, but they'd need to convince so many LTH's that it would be worth it for us, and for most, well that is 2p+.In fact, for many really LTH's, 4p+. Patience...
IG .To be frank I would be surprised if anyone is "sniffing about" at present but please do provide further details. And if there is a potential predator is that necessarily good news except for anyone who has bought in recently around the current sp level? Even a purchase price of twice the current price would leave many of us well out of pocket
I think you'll be surprised at who is sniffing about, being quite active on the M&A scene in thje diamond sector
These big deals are rarely done when prices are flying. This is the key time for the majors to be doing deals
BOD is too cheap no matter which way you look at it
Yes unfortunately JPW is 100% correct.
Until rough diamond prices recover the assets and projects BOD hold mean very little.
And unless the company starts to generate revenue, another cash call is almost inevitable in the next 10 to 12 months.
For long-term holders, this is full of promise, but it is becoming a hard equity to hold
The main wait is on the Rough Diamond Price. That is stable now and a true demarcation is occurring between Real and Lab Diamonds. This will widen and even to an extent some that bought Lab will want 'the real thing' as they get older and understand that Real hold their values so much more. How long will that be... anyone's guess, but months into year+ it 'seems'.
