We are all busy Mike, you wally, lol. I won't ask how you know about the info you claim to know, but it would not surprise me if Bird directed Borrelli at will. Without any questions from Boz, who knows nothing about the mining business. That said, I have previous with old Birdy. He was drafted into Orogen Gold, paid a large salary, supposedly justified for trying to turn ORE's fortunes around, but instead, the sp only continued to buckle and he eventually resigned, but only after the business took a complete change of direction. He managed to alter its course from being a mining exploration company, to one of selling, amongst other things, ladies knickers. Lol.
The Bird effect. In my opinion, he's a compete turd of the highest order, certainly didn't justify any wage really while at Orogen.
So, he may have a wealth of mining experience, business in this sector, but I would say that's wholly different to having any notable expertise.
In my humble, as a former shareholder of ORE. He was just no good.
Borrelli is even worse, and the BozBird combo is why neither BMR nor JLP are safe.
In my view, as I say, but based only on my experience of the ORE demise.
Funnily enough, the clothing company for ladies, SOS, is doing fairly well, but without Bird of course. I doubt he'd have made a decent model anyway. Lol.
Thanks for your help Mikey.
I wouldn't worry too much about that. Borrelli is CB's poodle and will do as he's told. He has very little power.
My major fear is that the real price of the purchase of Kabwe by JLP is that AB becomes a Director of JLP.
ADJshares. Yes, I suppose it came across as churlish to wish ill on JLP shareholders when it was just their BoD at fault. I hope those here who bought into JLP do well.
I do hope that you put yourself forward to join the BMRW committee. They look like they could use your umph. There is some value of posting here but the vast majority of BMR holders do not know this board is still active and arguing with people here is pointless IMO. The imputus to get a coherent message out to BMR LTH'S will be even more important once the committee has the the mailing address of sharehoders which they were intending to do in the NY.
(jeremiah ~ re licence: maybe, but not if one now has 150k + of JLP CFD's)
Since it looks like this bag of worms will probably end up with JLP eventually owning the whole of Kabwe anyway, I would be very happy to see the mining license taken off them as well as karma for the miserable deal they offered us.
Good point about recording such an important conversation. I bet it purposefully wasn't recorded. Lol.
Terrifying all of this really 3card.
Mike, hi. Well we don't know if it was that guy, but we do know it was a bucket load of money that we didn't have to burn, the Blue Square news completely out of the blue and quite a shock. First news is we were giving BS this loot and it wasn't enough of an explanation as to what was actually done by BS to assist with reinstatement of the licence. It seems that Vig has since found out.
Not Borrelli's cash of course that he handed over, so the little bugger didn't stop to think if it was ok. He's fookin' dangerous. Hopefully his methods of operating will prove his undoing.
Cheers Mikey babes.
I wonder how Borrelli knew of this pastor's existence though. Difficult to believe he would simply have stumbled across him while at Toni & Guy. Lol.
Someone must have surely introduced them?
Then it seems Borrelli readily agreed to a terrifying amount of our cash being handed over, but not for what was stated in our 4 June RNS. Tut tut.
Frightening really.
I'm assuming such an important phone call was recorded.
Yes Vig. Fair enough that. The AIM mess was just another of the unbelievable happenings that we've had to endure at at the hands of our leader.
Did the pastor divulge to you just who approached him, or how the deal came about?
Just a point.
Cheers Vig.
Fair comment. We haven't all just sat back and accepted the situation here though. I did actually contact AIM re our delisting, and the circumstances surrounding the eventual demise from that platform, but the AIM Regulation Team was not allowed to discuss the finer details with me, even though I stated to them that I could prove my shareholding in BMR. I then asked in what capacity one would have to act, in order to be given access to more detailed information. Still no joy, but hopefully if you have involved the NCA, then they may be able to gain answers, including from AIM.
Hard to believe we couldn't get a broker sorted in time to avoid the delisting, and then I thought maybe it's even harder to believe that Borrelli actually had one lined up. Lol.
Best of luck.
I think you may be jumping the gun a little there Vig. Lol.
You kidding? No-0ne goes to jail these days for crimes without violence.
Fully expecting Ms Onasanya to get a suspended sentence just so she can cling ashamedly to her Westminster perks
Thank for your kind comment the other day. Just how I see that things have gone and only my opinion. Hope you are doing well matey, BMR aside.
It's a great pity we are having to talk about only the disturbing things surrounding BMR, but it seems to be a case of extremely duff leadership under Borrelli. It's been one bad move after another from him, no timely moves to our benefit. We have to hope that shareholders have a say in him not ditching our royalty payment from JLP, once they hopefully become operational at Kabwe. It is a worry that he'll continue to sell everything off that we either own or are entitled to.
Watch this space. Stop him! Lol.
Cheers Plum.
Hi guys. I haven't any new thoughts about Bozzer, but I'm not at all surprised Vig that you have contacted the NCA. What I've been pondering though, is just how Alex came across the Blue Square one man band in the first place. Was the pastor advertising his services in return for a small fortune? Doubtful I feel. Hard to know how it came about really, but obviously the pastor hasn't exactly been slow in accepting this eye-popping amount of money, if true of course, so in my view, it then makes him quite a questionable character as well. God-fearing, yet with a greed that is quite sickening. Sounds a bit wrong to me. The polar opposite of how I'd expect a pastor to behave. If it is indeed his services, via Blue Square, that have been used. He should be ashamed of himself.
It's that lack of conscience thing again. Not doing the right thing.
It all stinks of rotten fish, but only my view.
Good point 3card about those BMR holders who have now also invested in JLP, but if there has indeed been some form of corruption involved with BMR's dealings, perhaps with the licence reinstatement, then I'd rather see repercussions for those involved in any wrongdoing, even if it means we shareholders, and perhaps those in JLP, are impacted by any findings brought to light by the legal eagles. All ifs and buts of course though, until proven, but nobody is above the law.
The BMR accounts being late is also quite convenient, in my humble. I can't see any real reason for it. I'm talking reason, not excuse.
Best of luck to us anyway. It continues to be a nightmare this, but we can at least lend each other support, while hopefully the walls close in on Borrelli and something gives.
Cheers both.
Exactly the thoughts expressed my myself a few days ago on JLP board
I can see that multiple letters to the NCA may spotlight the dubious actions of our CEO. I have drafted such a letter.
However, I wanted others opinions as to whether any intervention of the NCA i.e. a possible halt of future payments to BS may lead to BMR defaulting on its agreement with BS and JLP which might lead to a retraction of the mining licence etc. This may be counterproductive in that losing the licence again may kill off BMR as a company completely and be detrimental to those of us that have now invested in JLP in the hope of recouping some of our losses
At the end of the day there has to be verifiable accounts which should track all the financial transactions. These need to be crystal clear and there MUST be documentation to prove where the money has gone. The directors need to be aware that they might be able to keep us in the dark for the moment but Her Majestys inland revenue will be thorough in investigating these maters if we provide some proof of questionable behaviour…..and the directors should not underestimate how many we are and what we might turn up if they push us too far....and that may well include earlier directorships also!

Rosewall, from what I've read, I don't think JLP even responds to their own shareholders, so I suspect you are right, they would never answer our questions if we contacted JLP directly.
At least with Borrelli you can pick up the phone and get a response, the trouble is, half of what he says is probably a load of B*****.
JLP might be the largest single shareholder in BMR but I don't believe for 1 second that they care about BMR or its shareholders (apart from the Royalty).
We have had discussions with Colin Bird who is also Chairman of JLP. We requested another meeting early Nov but Borrelli said they could not commit to another meeting date during 2018, yet we gave him a good 5 weeks notice to set one up. It's worth noting that they could have arranged a meeting around 6th December, when the likes of Colin and Leon were in the UK for the JLP AGM.
We have very recently requested another meeting for the end of this month. If Borrelli fails to accommodate, I can only assume he's got something to hide, as our questions become more and more in-depth and intrusive, and he will be met with further actions which may lead to him facing a large mob of angry shareholders.
It is worth a shot but the bottom line that you will get very little if anything from the exercise. JLP's BOD is responsible to JLP's shareholders and not BMR's. Consequently, as BMR is a shareholder then it is their questions and not your questions that will be answered. If you want JLP to answer questions it will have to go through AB. Worth contacting them direct though. You may be pleasantly surprised as you say.
Unfortunately it comes down to credibility...sorry BringMyR, it does not inspire..

" As for Alex Borrelli, he seems to have come in for some criticism: getting delisted, handing over Kabwe (not for free, but free in some eyes). So is he quietly coining it? Well, not exactly – I gather he hasn’t taken any pay since the shares were suspended back in February.
More to the point, when he came on board the company was a basket case. Now, despite the delisting, it has assets (the Jubilee shares) and a decent income stream (albeit deferred until Jubilee gets its return). All in all that might not be too bad an end-of-term report. But the biggest prize would be getting the shares relisted.
Let’s see what happens."
Compared to the big bad world out there, what you are doing doesn't really matter. But when it comes to being a BMR investor, what you are doing is wrong. You are attacking those that are trying to help.
Yes, I get that you don't believe certain things. If Eric posted that he bumped into Borrelli in Waitrose and kicked him in the nuts, would you believe that? If you require proof from me or Vig, shouldn't you also require proof from anyone on here? In that case surely you don't believe anything that you read, so what's the point?
Are the "gloves" still off between me and you? Careful, I might get Vig to find out where you live... lol
Fact is, I don't know you and you don't know me. I could be Angela Merkel and you could be Boris Johnson. Every poster is anonymous. So excuse me but when I see posts I regard ad suspicious, I reserve the right to challenge said posts. Using racist language or beating up disabled people are activities to be ashamed of, not, as you rather stupidly suggest, challenging someone else's posts.
