Wow! You're away for one day and you come back to a room where the feccin fan has sprayed all the walls with brown stuff.
Who is this Fellowship idiot? Suddenly appeared from nowhere and posting more chats even than BMR does.
Can't be a new shareholder and unlikely to be a passive shareholder who's never posted in all the years of hell we have gone through. Cannot rule out the possibility that someone in the boardroom is having accidents in their pants and Fellowship is the frontman trying to scare people off. BMRWatch must have really touched a nerve!!!
As regards copper being the gamechanger, that presupposes that all the previous tests and RNS's about zinc, lead and vanadium were lies. Also it was Borrelli, after he ousted Altzheimers Ali, who insisted that the copper deposits were a fabrication. Is Fellowship therefore calling Borrelli a liar? Many on here may have thought it but no-one has ever said it.
As regards exporting shiploads of copper-bearing ore halfway across the world to process it in Zambia, I've never heard such fanciful tosh!
Why would you, when the transport costs would wipe out any profits, especially when you can build a perfectly good plant in situ for a few million quid.
And even if you were talking about 10% concentration which I doubt, how does one imagine the Zambian Government would react to the other potentially toxic 90% being dumped in Zambia.
What an idiot. BTW honest posters on here know that I'm not a member of, nor speak for BMRWatch.
As regards just taking copper from the ore, why would you not have a 3 or 4 way slpit taking out all the different metals at the same time. It doesn't make economic sense. Are you saying the Zambian Government, would be happy for us to scoop up millions of tons of heavily lead polluted ore from the outskirts of the most heavily polluted city on earth then dump it back again with the poison still in it?
Absolutely ridiculous and totally without credibility.
Where is the evidence that JLP have gone against the terms of the processing licence and stopped building work? None of course. No RNS. No leaks. Nada!
I've gone right off copper since I invested in this sham company and lost thousands, wish I had never read the article in the press about 1.3 Billion Dollars worth of copper in the piles of ore, just to keep it going so more got fleeced they threw in the other fictitious elements over the years, but at least I have a share certificate to frame or maybe use for bog paper.
"I know people on the ground at Kabwe"
Of course you do Fellow. Now take your pills and go and lie down in a darkened room for a few hours there's a good chap.
Unless of course you are >>>>>>>> as suggested by someone. No.
God. Where's Eric when you need him??
fellowship is right - the plan all along was to produce copper. Over on JLP they have been confused by the copper production - where is it coming from? I can now reveal that it is being brought in from Mars. Colin is an alien and he has implanted a small green grub like creature into Borelli's ear and it burrowed into his brain. He has done the same with leon. He controls them both - they only respond to a Yorkshire accent. leon is being used to convert Kabwe into a spaceship and it is this spaceship which will transport the copper cheaply from Chile.
just seen ot all on Dr Who - so true.
Kalan - you had me going there for a second. Lol
I remember a person posting on iii, he also knew lots of information about Kabwe & lots of inside knowledge obtained from BMR employees, This was was when MA was our wonderful leader, that person stated he knew this & that but found himself in the same situation as the rest of shareholders. When news broke out about the true nature of what MA had done. Surely such a person, so ahead of ordinary shareholders would have sold his holding before news broke out?
Why would he continue holding plus posting utter rubbish again, again again ..........I know .Glencore, Vedanta, the Chinese will takeover BMR etc............................................
You'd have a job sending shiploads of ore to Zambia anyway as its land locked
3CB: quick question... why do you not join up with BMRWatch? Would be good to build a stronger than 20% position to consolidate voting power imo.
The way Borrelli works, you would probably need nearer 40% including an institutional investor to have any influence on him.
Fair enough. It's not like ~20% has done much so far!
From memory, weren't the watch board going to approach institutional investors a year or two back. Don't know whether or not that had any impact.
Not 100% sure tbh. But I know the Watch have a good overall holding.
3card, since I got involved with BMR Watch we haven’t knowingly tried to contact any institutional holders. We can’t see anything obvious on the shareholder register, and even if there are any still left, I doubt they own much of a percentage anyway.
Although we welcome any new members, we don’t really require anymore at this stage. Even if we had 50% of the shares in BMR Watch, it doesn’t mean much on the face of it. The only time we would need a big percentage of shareholders is when it comes to voting on resolutions. Since this is something we can’t control, it makes little difference to BMR Watch how much we have in terms of percentage of shares.
We only require 5% to call a General Meeting (EGM as some call it) and this also allows you to write your own proposals/resolutions to go to a vote. Obviously they need to be realistic and achievable, otherwise they can be rejected by the board.
Bmr. Thanks for clarification. Just thought I'd read on this board some time ago that watch were considering this.
