*our only likely saviour
Bit of a "meh" udate.. Thankfully sp holding (for now) touch wood. More interesting will be who Is on the next holdings rns. Tosca appears are only likely saviour at this stage
This continues to be a worry to me. But on the plus side I think it highly unlikely that an internet of free offerings back by ads is going to disappear and more control/regulation will hopefully play into the hand so grown up regulated agencies such as 1R. SO could be good for us... But we are still in the wild west of this industry and it will take time to sort the chaff from the wheat I guess. https://theconversation.com/web-users-are-caught-in-a-tug-of-war-between-advertisers-and-ad-blockers-48609?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Latest+from+The+Conversation+for+October+9+2015+-+3574&utm_content=Latest+from+The+Conversation+for+October+9+2015+-+3574+CID_33b884c08e4e7ae7456f5da6ac1d206e&utm_source=campaign_monitor_uk&utm_term=Web%20users%20are%20caught%20in%20a%20tug-of-war%20between%20advertisers%20and%20ad-blockers
Not earth shuttering,YET, not skeletons either.....as such our long stretch patience might come to some rewards in the not too far future....I will keep holding, and waiting......GLA.
No problems with that. Just don't want to offend any person on any board. Not what I am about. Yes not too bad, but need to get the GB plates out and Get better.
Programmatic revenues have continued to grow throughout the Period, in line with management estimates. Brian has a history of being conservative, so hopefully November slightly better and the turnaround is underway, Hopefully.
The market doesn't look particularlyoverwhelmed by the results if early trading is anthing to go by. I was hoping that we'd get a a more positive lift given the exected return to profitability in 6-12 months. I guess the market will only do this when the profits are actually there, so I suppose its another 3 months of going up and down around the present sp leve until the next updatel. Still, hopefully it might persuade J Morgan and others who are still short that it's time to bugger off.
since I looked in here as I sold out a while ago. Good to see sales have stabilised but either costs or the competitive nature of the market Blinkx is trading in are still hammering the margins and profitability. With the lack of credibility the Blinkx BOD have at the moment its hard to see a real recovery in the SP until we have sight of the actual positive sales and profitability numbers in 6-12 months time - or the excuses for why recovery is still further delayed.
Strong and growing core sales Cost reduction Expectation of being back to profitability in the near term. Hopefully, this will encourage our main shareholder as well as other PI....
At least the decline appears to have stopped and the cash in the bank is still there.
Like that bit allot! Going up?
Sorry if the tone looked as if it was negative. Wasn't meant that way. If you thought it was. Please accept my apologies. So many links posted on here such as motley fool, share prophets etc take you to links which save your e mail and then your inbox is infiltrated with crap. Always find factual info useful, but, don't want my already cluttered in box cluttered further. Thanks for your input. Always good to keep the board ticking over, until a time when the sheep descend and they take over.
You need to register to get this. I get bombarded with enough crap, so No Thank You.
Hi getrichslow, Kaz is doing terribly. Not so long ago it was £3. Fine for the get rich quick brigade, but not so good for the longtermers. It has a habit of large intra day swings so the chance to make money if you are clever and happy to trade. Blinky. I hope the tide is about to change but, dear old blinky has a habit of kicking you where it hurts, If they can get it right the price will move massively. But, its a big if. Hoc is another one with big swings.
Hi Rusty, we to be in a few of the same shares together.....Hoping for better things with this one.....HOC had a darn good rise Today....and KAZ is doing well......but I'm still weary of that share....having been burnt so many times......which is a shame, because it's done well this Week......but the suspicions are still there, ..so badly manipulated which is really worrying......but I suppose most of the shares are.....only have a very small holding in this one, always thought about topping up......looks as if it might just come good....after the big fall.....but what do I know...
Will be nice to break 30p this week followed by a positive quarterly update of somekind.
29. One more little step for mankind.

Of course we don't know all the short positions but the transparent ones over 0.5% are list here each day: short-postions-daily-update.xls
as companies only need to report if they are over 0.5% how would we ever know. ??
Steady as she goes.
Thank you all for your inputs. It does give me a better perspective on trying to evaluate risks attached to various scenarios that could unfold. Albeit not a very likely possibility, my main concern (playing devil’s advocate) has been some form of ‘collusion’ between the TOP major holders to somehow steal Blinky on the cheap (with or without taking it to Nasdaq), particularly if the BOD are also on the act! If the above scenario is NOT the case then by default we have to presume that Tosca and RG & ML etc. are in it for the longer term and looking at restoring some of Blinky’s former SP glory.
its easy to but 1 or 2% with willing sellers. Its not so easy to buy 70% from people who don't want to sell. Of course I could be wrong but, I don't see them making an offer. Thats my last word on the subject. ( Promise)
A number of the funds you show simply hold shares for PI's in nominee accounts. At 30% my understanding is Tosca would have to declare their intentions not necessarily be required to make an offer.
all These Hargreaves Lansdown 7.84% Barclays Wealth Mgmt. 6.79% TD Direct Investing 5.64% River & Mercantile Asset. 4.92% Halifax Share Dealing. 3.45% Are actually individual shareholders in nominee accounts. So theres a lot of them to say no.
