Just saw the comments by a poster on the iii BB, ...words to the effect that once the 30% ownership threshhold has been reached and Tosca are required to bid for a potential takeover then under the rules the bidder (Tosca) are only obligated to offer the highest price they have paid in the last 6 months. Not sure if the above is factual and applicable in the case of Tosca. Anyone with some clear knowledge around this?
If nothing sinister is going on in the background (e.g. Tosca setting Binky up for a quick and dirty sale), which I still doubt, then we have to presume they are aiming to build Blinky up again for the medium to longer term. Whatever their Share ownership target % is, they seem to be able to accumulate nicely towards it and ‘on the cheap’. My feeling is that their ownership target and the timing of reaching it are already aligned with THE announcement of positive results that everyone is expecting (H2 figures). I, like many others here, find it difficult to see how they would otherwise sink so much cash in Blinky if certain assurances and proofs from within Blinkx had not already been received. Would you invest like that anywhere if you didn’t have access to some solid insight? Anyway all speculation (with I hope a little sprinkle of simple logic). Time will tell. Good luck all
Haha that was funny ! Dont worry rusty you can pitch your tent next mine in Antibes cause hotel-du-cap said Joy won't pay my bill ! Lol
Language.... Ha ha... Okidoky, you two, I will stay out as much as I can tomorrow! But I'm out most of next week... Going to make pumpkin pies tomorrow so if my pastry don't rise & bake till its golden brown from cooking them on the camper stove on the allotment, there will be trouble! Yeah, we are blessed.. Life, like AIM, it's a lucky dip of where you invest or where you live... Good investment ideas/advice or living your life honestly and with a good heart.... Both not guaranteed you'll come out top in this crazy world! Ok...that's my rant for the night. Good luck for tomorrow...lets end the week on the Friday high like the good old days!
Out for the next bloody month if thats what it takes. Even if its in a tent in the garden. Back to reality, and yes health and happiness is important. But, wealth helps.
Haha , joy . Rest my case we get another RNS! Lol I did it over 10 times ! See we are still young after all ! I do agree with you that it has become one big roulette wheel here on aim or rather a. Very bad hammer horror drama as once you have been bitten a few times you start to think twice before you dive back in again the clutches of the aim vampire Look at mos , I was in and out in a few days and that was the end of it , same with Xtr and Cpx but wish I could say the same for here and Cupid ( csi) , I took a tiny loss on NIPT and put the money into a divi payer CTY for an easy life ,in the greater schemes of things you are indeed correct that we are indeed lucky To have what we do as compared as to those less fortunate in others parts of the world and that have the ability and where with all to throw dosh on these shares while others only have the clothes on their back ! I still want you out of the house next week! Lol spotted
Hi Spottedlurcher, As for averaging down, did that three times! If we end up with 50, then I will only be at a 50% loss, which is better than where I stand at the moment. Not the best case scenario I can think of on the planet but a much better prospect that my previous 75% loss! Heyhoe, only money... We are still very fortunate, we're not in a war zone, homeless & destitute so I still consider myself lucky. I'm doing really well on some bio medical stock at the moment ( on AIM ) and feel I'm well overdue to find a golden nugget on this gambling circuit because it's no longer investing IMHO is just Russian roulette these days. Good luck all and hopefully we will all still be alive and kicking to enjoy the fruits of Blinky rather than pushing up the daisies!
Haha ,averaging down has nearly killed me here and in cupid , now csi and I did make some dosh here in the past but that Is long gone ! Wish Joy would get back to leaving the house again as that seemed to bring us some gains! Still I think there is a light at the end of the tunnel , just not sure when or if I'll be alive to see it ! Atb
I wish 50 would get my money back.
I'll take 50 at this point ! Anything to get my dosh back !
You are joking, Not a chance. Brians option price for a start. I think Tosca and RG know more than that.
Too young to remmember that Piler! :)
All this talk of ads made me think of the one for R Whites (lemonade) years ago. So long ago, in fact, I can barely remember it. But what I do recall clearly is the sudden, unexpected appearance John McEnroe makes in it right at the end. As I recall he was even wearing a headband. How cool is that? I loved it me (the ad AND the lemo.!)
Worrying. Tosca and Griffiths now holding 35%; add other major institutional shareholders and we are looking at well over 60%. Us small fry might well have to succumb to a low-ball grab well below 50p.
There was an interesting Radio interview on the BBC Radio yesterday on ‘Video Ad-Blocking’ and its consequences for the on-line Advertising industry. Some Content Owners going down the subscription route and /or voluntary donation route to raise money for their content Apparently also in parallel there is now a backlash developing from the Publishers/Content owners etc …. By the way of "Blocking the Ad-Blockers" !!! Not sure how the technology works here, perhaps some of more technically inclined fellow posters can explain! Apparently publishes like the ‘Washington Post’ for instance are already going down this route…. Interesting!! and Cheers
Post may have been removed as it linked to another site, maybe nothing sinister.
Hi Rusty I noticed it had been removed also.
Now theres a surprise ( not ) No doubt with yesterdays drop they will have been able to capture a few more.
shroder, was one of your posts deleted ???
Nice early morning rise. ..perhaps we can pass 30p today

Lundon79 we also have RG in the wings unless he is collaborating with Tosca which does seem unlikely as you would have thought he would have increased as well.
