Until the next big heave forward or back a lot of us here having literally given up speculating on this share. The rules of markets....with supply and demand doesn't apply here but I'm convinced dark manipulating forces that will bide their time to see this SP remain where it is so that investors in AIB will feel they are getting fair value when the govt sells its 25%. In a bit in the PGee camp on this front. Rgds
Economy not finished,uk project ie nations is finished sadly and also sadly eu will go tough ,it has no choice ,the mania will be followed by sadly a depression for uk nationalists
If UK is finished it certainly isn't showing up in the property market. Have a friend living in a pretty good area of London, got a knock on his door Sunday and was offered 28% more than he figured his house was worth on the spot. (With a bank approval letter for said sum)
Just to recognise... Good points
Grade C in English and Maths -
The first sign of Europe awakening was not long in coming - Vauxhall is to become Opel - wonder if the Germans lent the French the money for the deal. They will talk a lot about battery cars being the future but not everyone wants to buy a Sinclair, and peddle like F*** while you are driving. Education Education Education has not been the success that was promised, with up to 40% of young people failing the current "PASS" mark and being required to remain in school until they can achieve grade C - understanding Brexit becomes easier. Good luck all - off at 10.52 today in the wind again.
They are going to put manners on uk ,sadly it has too to survive .uk is finished and that to me is sad
Down, down, down. If John Macs theory is correct then this is endgame shortly for the valuation and sale of AIB shares so unfortunately we can expect more of the same, worst share in Europe today!
that I would give this thing a whirl - just to make sure it is working...
Low 20s looks like risk is priced in. I don't accept the doomsday narrative at all. The results are positive! I felt the recent climb to 28 was a bit steep. I'm back in now and am optimistic for a more sober and gradual increase.
Sorry predictive....
Good to read your news X4 and thank you for the Mass offering - Deadcatbounce, great link have just spent a very enjoyable half hour with Little Richard and Chuck Berry. Now know where deadbeat comes from - predictive text - I put in Deadcat and this machine alters it - must find out how you make it do as it's told.
Will private investors get an option to take part in upcoming IPO or is it only institutions? Anyone know?
Thanks for logic, Torquay. My body continues to wake from chemo and surgery and my first Ct scan is very promising. I had Mass offered last Friday evening for all my prayer benefactors.
.. well .. we wont whip you with 30 lashes.., instead your punishment will be Arlene who is worth 25 lashes.. .
Paddy the cat
Paddy the Irishman, Paddy the Englishman and Paddy the German are caught in Saudi Arabia drinking. "Under Saudi law you are sentenced to 30 lashes then deported. Before you begin you are entitled to have something on your back. What would you like?" said the prison guard to the Englishman just before lashing him. The English man, being a bit of a cricket fan, asked for linseed oil. They lashed him on a post and he groaned with pain. Next came the German. "Under Saudi law you are sentenced to 30 lashes then deported. Before you begin you are entitled to something on you back, what would you like?" said the prison guard "Nothing" said the German and, after receiving his lashes spat on the ground, called the prison guards Schisers and winced in agony. The guards then came to Paddy the Irishman. "Under Saudi law you are sentenced to 30 lashes then deported. Before you begin you are entitled to something on you back, what would you like?" "Oh", replied Paddy, "I'll have the Englishman.".
A United Ireland is still a dream for many reasons not the least of which is the conservative party who have always presided over a divide and rule policy - in case they needed the Unionist vote. In the days of John Major this country paid a heavy price for their support. Scotland is a possibility but it has nearly as many Orange Men (why aren't they painted orange) as the north - and then there are the rangers supporters and ALL there benefits. For the moment I will be satisfied with an assembly in the north - as long as they can make it work - they are not yet ready, as far as I am concerned, to be allowed join forces with the republic politically. There are still a few die hards who are capable of posing expensive distractions (policing for one) - in another twenty years some form of "integration " may be possible. Hope all is going well with you X4 and that you are recovering your strength.. Good luck all.
Torquay. Are you contemplating united Ireland?? It could work, to keep Scotland and 'Ireland' all in Europe.
Looks like north wants to get out of collasping uk and join republic IF we allow them to , ironic as that sounds also good post on interest rates , cheap money has to come to an end eventually
Paddy Irishman is derogatory! It's an ethnic slur..
We have some news so far as the elections are concerned but I don't know positive it is - spoke to my daughter this evening and she was quite happy. The Unionist leader is going - hopefully Arlene will be going and the leader of the Alliance Party increased her majority so it is not all bad. The leader of Sinn Fein disturbs me however with her non-stop delivery - surely she is not capable of thinking as quickly as she speaks - but it does happen in Kerry... From the level of debate achieved in the last broadcast, I was optimistic that there was an increasing level of political maturity present amongst the candidates which hopefully would allow some form of co-oporation with regard to economic activity and the border post Brexit to be developed. There are many reasons why the two sides of the border should co-oporate to their mutual benefit - what will probably happen is that there will be an Irish solution to the border, because its return would be far from welcome.
Pub not far from me in Cork called Paddy The Farmers... should I blow it up??
