The last SP on another site was €10.375, when the dividend of €0.60 is added in we are up to €10.975. No bad.
Ashton,
The key for BIRG going forward is whether or not the additional 480 mill buy back will be confirmed at agm ,although imo decision will be deferred to release of H1 figs end of July..If so cannot see any reason why sp will not hit €11 plus. I will attend the agm and will raise the 480mill buy back if given the opportunity.
If the cuckoo attends the AGM will have pleasure in supplying the shareholding evidence as given to me by Davy's. Entry not allowed without such evidence.
One share will get you entry your fos
Cuckoo,
cannot speak for you and it is true that if your shareholding is 1 share ( or probably 11 in your case mistaking your get out price with s/holding) it will get you entry.
However, my entrance letter from Davy stipulates my holding ,excluding the 6876 shares bought last week.
Now lets see whether or not " I can't do it " - over to you but I shall be there ! WILL YOU.
Jon Jon I have 25000 shares and absolutely no interest in wasting my time by attending You go ahead and make a difference you have so many shares I’ll be disappointed if you are not in the front row
JH,
My holding is through Degiro so I don't receive AGM documentation from them. I did inquire about attending an AGM, pre-Covid. They could arrange for me to attend however there was a cost involved. I decided to pass.
I believe that the SP will increase over the next 12 months however at a much lower rate of increase. I have an exit price in mind.........
If you do make it to the AGM, I for one, would welcome your thoughts.
Ashton
ashton,
had long chat with p o'sullivan of birg investor relations prior to agm re 480mill balance buy back.
he advised that current buy back should be completed c 20 august but scale of buy back dependent on daily volume as their buy back limited to %age of daily volume.
also advised that buy back balance dependent on frankfurt (ecb) approval which takes months and such approval not to be sought until completion of 520mill buy back. also commented on the market sensitivity surrounding this.
probably makes sense as 1bn buy back approved at 2023 agm in may 2023 and buy back didn't commence until release of 24 results on 26 february.
nothing further of substance raised at meeting ,other than contained in 26 feb statemen****eting confirmed resumption of bi annual distributions next year.
Well done Jon Jon sage information although nothing we didn’t already know.
I hope you didn’t let yourself down and reference them as “BUYS back”
Thanks for that John. Good to get clarification.
Cookie, you really are a laugh. Every single time. Stop digging like a good man. Talk about giving someone enough rope!!!! 😂
We’ll lickass did you take the sage advise and sell ?? I’d leave the buys backs to someone else I get the impression your a long time retired
JH,
Tks for the update. Ashton
I’m sorry now but what update did you get Ashton ?
Are you on the bottle today, cookie, you're all over the shop 😂
Nurse
Enjoy your 11,259
I wonder if Simon is thinking of doing a Rishi and calling a summer election after the locals? I suppose it depends on those but it didn’t stop Rishi and SF are in about of a trouble with their messaging atm. A return of FG/FF and independants would be a solid result for the Irish banks, especially AIB.
Good news to hear that Sinn Fein are in trouble. We don't want those lunatics running the country!
