But I have taken my eye off this company some time ago, so they might be a lot better than I’m giving them credit for, gl
Absolutely, I remember JW used to pump this crook of s.hite saying it could be the world leading tree shelter producers, that was probably one of his craziest pump and dumps ever imo
Losses year after year is unsustainable.
So they burnt through £0.3m in the last three months
They have £0.6m of cash left
That’s 6 months and then it’s game over
Expect a placing within 3 months then
Half years results on 27th September 2023 , as a note was lucky to get in at lowest value sold just over half meaning shares left are free.
Does not happen often but was out of flavour at the time.
Expecting break even or at least small profit , lets hope going by RNS previous.
After many years Biome may just be getting its act together.
Certainly the demand for biodegradable plastic has never been stronger.
Not surprised on the rise it just has zero liquidity. I tried for 1000 shares at 130p NT and before you know it it's straight up, somebody bought £5k's worth at 149p, great stock if you hold a bit of size you can trickle stock out now and again higher and higher for big profits but getting in is difficult and risky atm
Still nothing, 500 shares NT got to be the most illiquid stock out there
Blimey it's 500 NMS at 130p and some idiot has paid 139p for 600 lol, people like throwing away money
Hi Davey , i have been in it over 15 years , since it was called stanelco . it is absolutely useless , the spreads are always so wide that it discourages trading in it . Im pretty sure if the market makers brought the spread down to 3-5 % a lot more people would trade it .
Just tested a quote and cannot even buy 500 shares, up on just a few buys, is this stock always this illiquid or is there just a squeeze atm ?
Definitely not bad!
Trading update was much better than I expected. Some optimism returns.
Nice rise today, hoping for some positive news on Wednesday.. :0)

I'm sure this has been discussed before, huge potential here?
From the previous trading statement:
As has been referenced in various trading statements, in the first half of 2021, the business received a commitment from a second US end customer for conversion to our biodegradable coffee filtration material. Whilst the end customer has been purchasing regularly in the last eighteen months at limited levels, the subsequent expected acceleration of revenues has been constrained by various matters. These constraints are now clearing and a substantial increase in orders for this customer has been received for delivery in Q4 2022. Fulfilment of these orders in the coming weeks is expected to double the year's revenues from this source. Further, there are reasonable grounds to believe that this increased offtake rate will persist into 2023.
Good news coming I feel.....
Do we know if there is a trading update this week, looking at past updates it could be on Thursday?
Biome are in a good place but as always takes time to change habits but legislation accelerates that effect.
One good Factor the Bio plastics are now in one direction regarding growth , with 6 other customers that may sign up.
I am sure bio plastics aren't on the list, so this should rocket.

Nice post , Company's do not like paying out so alternatives in Bio plastic are way forward.
What i do like is Biome is a pure play in plastics from Vegetation , there are others like ITX but are different angles in commercial terms and no conflict at present.
In Europe we have the standard size for Vegetables which means unshapely ones are disregarded , Biome takes these to be made into bio plastics , as with Tree guards theses are made from trees and end of life are disposed of by compositing away naturally.
Was at Tesco in the Early 90s a new tescos was built the trees plant young with tree guards , guess what theses are now full trees with the plastic tree guards still present plus the rubber band.
Are they removed no , has any one informed tesco NO.
Seems the 3rd quarter has been a good turnround , if any of the other projects come through we may be looking for net profit for next year. albeit small
Over 500k in grants over the past few months, not bad going
A bit of good news.
