That's my point how long before debt gets high with all the acquisitions? how are they buying them with fluff and washers? No by borrowing. ...ie DEBT
Billybigwig : the £248 million debt is manageable at 1.8 times earnings according to the FT https://www.google.com.cy/amp/s/amp.ft.com/content/3c4e67e4-5112-11e7-bfb8-997009366969 The company clearly wants to expand and continue to pay a decent dividend. If you are that strategy will deliver value then hold or buy otherwise just sell .. there’s plenty of buyers.
I have now come to the conclusion that the next holiday I have I'll have it intravenously fed into my arm ;-) .....the system can't beat me ;-)
My comments do not affect biffa share price ..it's had a good run up its probably a bit of profit taking
have another negative comment. and see if you can get it down another 10pence
company getting larger by acquisitions its impressive but what doesn't impress me is the debt and the means to service that debt ..ie if debt interest outstrips biffas means to pay that debt summats gotta give
I think its something more macro-related, I noticed some synchronicity in rises with Biffa and British Land. Something positive on brexit?
why the rise?
Not far off now
The expansion of our Polymers business was completed towards the end of the year and will contribute to earnings in the coming year. A number of new projects in soil treatment and aggregates recycling have begun to contribute to earnings The recent win and mobilisation of the North Somerset contract, together with contract extensions and the addition of the Cory contracts, gives us good visibility of earnings into the future. justa few catalysts to keep pushing growth forward.
'Biffa has continued to deliver solid organic and acquisition revenue growth, while Underlying EBITDA and Underlying Operating Profit growth have been driven by a strong operational performance and cost control, including the delivery of acquisition synergies.' Best guidance we can ask for, results will be the pudding which we will get in November. 213p and i'm wrong and gone... Looking for 300p for starters.
Guarantees? Who makes any of those in this game??
are from June 14 numbers to march only ?? Not guaranteed they have followed through over the summer 🤔

break out coming.
Where did you get them figures from?? In the last trading update???.
Strong cashflow profit after tax up 251% decent margin growth this could be a cash machine 'dividend pay-out ratio of approximately 35% of consolidated annual Underlying Profit After Tax.' Yes please.
performance in the field 1st hand at what they do, were surprised they haven't gone bust. Also see the Trust pilot reviews. No wonder they need to take over other cos. to keep those figures up ! I don't hold any shares in Biffa and don't intend to. But gl to all in this one, from one investor to another.
£2.60s is on its way :-)
Are you still looking ?? 👀😂
