Morning All. That enquiry is about envronmental permitting and it was posted here a few days ago; the Inquiry we have been waiting for is the KU Investigation, postponed from April to Autumn.
The inquiry will, among other things, focus on issues concerning the demarcation between the duty to report and the duty to obtain a permit, the possibilities for a more limited examination when changing activities and the role of the state administrative authorities in the examination.

The government has appointed Peter Ardö, chief adviser at the Land and Environment Court at Växjö District Court, as special investigator. The assignment must be reported no later than 15 December 2021.
Well September here at last and we should be getting news about review and implications for Beowulf. Swedish share action suggests it could be positive
The Swedes are a funny bunch. They like the Sami, are very environmentally friendly but then hold frequent car rallies featuring dirty polluting old gas guzzlers. It would be logical to think that BEM wouldn’t waste money on further exploration if they thought a permit wouldn’t be forthcoming but actually they might just want to strengthen their hand by enhancing the Kallak cause as being a good commercial proposition.Keeping the pot on the back burner so to speak.Frankly,I reckon the likelihood of a permit being awarded remains about 50:50.Even if a permit is awarded, there’s the likelihood of demonstrations and Sami lying in front of bulldozers.Kallak is a bit like a third Heathrow runway. Its anyone’s guess.
Tintin...I don't remember the PM saying anything in June about a review in 14 months, I just remember it was postponed until autumn, this autumn.
The assumption must be that the Swedish government will continue to play ostrich in respect of Kalak. However,it should be remembered that BEM is over 50% owned by Swedish investors. Also, the company is committed to developing a clean and environmentally acceptable way of extracting iron ore.If the authorities can’t go along with that, then they may as well kiss goodbye to any such projects ever being developed within Swedish borders. The implications are extensive. The legal route is expensive but there’s clearly little alternative. Its pretty meaningless doing back of the envelope computations of what Beowulf is worth given this or that because you’re necessarily making an assumption as to what the outcome of Kalak will ultimately be.Even if approval is granted, there’s no guarantee that demonstrations, objections etc won’t interfere with Kalak construction. However,I find the relative market caps of Beowulf and Horizonte Mining (as two junior AIM exploration stocks)pretty inexplicable.Horizonte is valued at only £45m compared to £27m for BEM.Horizonte appears very underrated on a comparative model.
3rd card bag you could be on the board with all your wisdom we could all be millionaires ?

All in Swedish but 'The Tablet' in Sweden seems quite excited about Beowulf info in the video.
Maybe Andy DF could shed some light on it?
keeping an eye on this again (I sold out at 4.8p after that disgraceful week's wind up in replying to the Member of parliament's question in June). Luckily put it all on Kefi which went up 140% so happy enough :) ). The Swedish PM's comments accompanied the review (to come up with something in 14 months time FFS?) so sounded like a soundbite thing. Only a Swede would fail to miss the irony of complaining about their own failure to make a decision by announcing a review to see why they haven't. So, it's either coming to a head now to force a decision or you await the next election (2 years?). Either way, I think you've seen the bottom and I'm sad I missed it (Kefi still working it for me!). Good luck everyone....
Lol. Kurt has bitten his lip for long enough. Our Company's treatment by the Swedish Authorities has been appalling.
I'm not surprised that the Boliden boss is looking to invest abroad. This is what should and will happen if the Swedish permitting process continues to lack any sort of clarity, structure, timeline. It's a disgrace. Investment will slip away.
Good! What will Big Stef do about it, if he sees businesses pull out of Sweden. Fixing the leaky ship with chewing gum over the 'ole isn't an option. Lol.
"Sitting with our arms crossed". Eric did you see this:

Thanks to Nalfaren.
Eric...Aren't we all. ..making it up as we go along. I expect the Boss has to show a bit of respect...not quite so free as us lot but I've noticed he's getting a bit 'freer' recently. Lol
Sooz, I reckon it could be because Kurt mentioned that come September with the Government back from hols, it could have no excuse to delay matters further. A little rise perhaps due to that. Of course Big Stef doesn't need an excuse to continue to turn his back on our plight, because we've been waiting so long anyway, no excuse in the world could already be an excuse enough, and that's why the Swedes haven't ever given one. Lol. Not specifically anyhow. We've had the general "complex matters take time" kind of thing, the fob off, but no detailed reason. The various ministers have been able to string us along and I'm not sure why Kurt is only feeling there can be no excuse now for further inaction by the Gov.
But maybe he has a plan if the Gov continues with the cold shoulder tactic.
Hence the mini rise in sp. Lol.
Or something like that. As you know, I be makin' 't up as I goes along see.
:-)
Morning Eric. Lol Things looking a bit better today...did we reach the bottom, are we going to get some action now from Big Stef...we live in hope!
You've only just got back in, so please don't start telling us to be patient again when you weren't. Lol.
....!
Small beer... There’s plenty of investors with multiples of those amounts.
Hello hello hello Pocko it’s not dead yet ,two fifty thousand buys ,can’t be any good news can it !
+4.58% in Sweden... steady rise from yesterday.... plenty of liquidity. Meanwhile on AIM...
l think 7 years is long enough Kurt needs to take another good look at our position" with every think in place as he says" we now should go for the win or lose option , lets face it we are not going to get any approval from the greens , legal is now the way to go, what he is not taking into account is the investors who have money tied up in this pit for years , most investors are only interested in kallak any other investments he has made comes a very poor second. all we are asking for is what we should of had last year
Another rinse and repeat from Kurt and his brmedia buddy - blah Kosovo blah fundraise blah great support from Nordics blah we have satisfied the criteria blah iron ore price blah Finland blah busy 6 months blah but nothing about what is going on with the push back against the Kallak inertia. We are caught in a 5 year Kurt timeloop!
That's the one and we're all waiting for 6:01
Yes, the clock scene, 6AM every morning for 10 years.
Swedish Govt inaction, fundraise, interview, Swedish Govt inaction, fundraise, interview.
This is beginning to look like Groundhog day.
