Sounds good Sooz. I wonder if UNESCO has now replied to Kurt. Hope so.
thank you Suzy , not sure what this will mean I presume nothing ,roller 1 and rune seem to be a very good addition here, I was having a coffee out earlier when I was dive bombed by a seagull I rushed home thinking we might have had the green light but alas no! Keep smiling, Alan
Great news! It would be amazing if we could get a reply from Unesco before the summer holidays and then a government Y E S later this year
If I may copy your post:
"Now it became extremely exciting!
Finally received a reply today from Stephanie Grussinger from UNESCO, who is the head of the appointed working group. They will soon be done with their work!
See mail below."

I've brought shares every week for 5 weeks now, every purchase showed up as red...
'Such as we' should have read such as we have done....not to say of course that we are not a resource because we are. Lol..freudian slip.
When you think that LKAB with all its financial muscle had misread it's future resource and having moved a town suddenly announced that the level of ore it thought was there was only there is a small part. Which makes me think that for a small junior miner to have proved up an inferred and indicated resource such as we it's quite an achievement.
all you can see for days is red , but there again there has to be a buyer , who l do not no so were are the shares going l wonder because no one is buying on our exchanges,, and the feed back l get from the sweds is they are selling as well.
Thanks SuzyQ, whoops, Suzy2
:-)
Bother!! Sorry about the double post, it didn't appear at first and I was a bit too anxious to correct my use of the work proved. Lol.
Wotitsworth...I've used proved in the wrong sense...the terms of measurement are inferred, indicated and proved. Proved isn't the working standard though because mines are never proved all at once. An example in the RNS is that LKAB has been working for 100 years, finding as they go along. The 14 year mine life is based on the indicated figure but the company believes there is at lease 25 years potential with the other licences and KS already has an exploration target but I can't quote it off hand.
To be absolutely correct...it means indicated and potential; the terms used are inferred, indicated, proved...but in practice mines 'prove' in due course they don't prove it all at once, the example given in the RNS is LKAB which has been working for over a hundred years , finding as they go along. There is an exploration target at Kallak South but I can't quote offhand what it is. The 14 year mine life is based on the facts of the indicated amount but the Company believes the mine life could be at least 25 years.
Interesting to see that work on the Berg****en licence is still being considered...wondered what had happened there.
"Big ambitions" Good, hope we can achieve some of them.
Thanks Sven Otto Littorin.
Thanks Suzy
152mt is proved and the 250 mt is potential.
Hmmmmmm
For Kallak, I expected to read 250mt and 25 years. I read 152mt and 14 years..........What happended.
Hi Suzy. Not sure why you would ignore such a rational explanation. Sure it doesnt take into account public sentiment and it certainly doesnt consider getting screwed by the swedish government, and of course all should make there own decision. But I dont know why this should not be considerred as a sensible analysis of the BEM business for people who dont do so much research?
Yes, back in the day these analyses could push the stock price up 25%...remember Gruvgunnar, personally I ignore them. Just trust your own judgement.
Xeno...even a small child could grasp it...providing their Swedish. :-)
Its a great read. The value of 10% of the in the ground value has been quoted before, and as per my very simple and uneducated calculations this shows a BEM share price way beyond anything we could imagine.
Ill happily take 8sek a share if anybody wants to buy mine :-)
a chaps,venture into mining,...on crux investors

Absolutely, it's a well made analysis and very interesting read. Back in the day these analysis could push the stock price 25% up when they were shared around on facebook. I believe that the future is bright too, as soon as we're done with the government - Hopefully before the election next year :)
Its true that he or she is not a professional but the blog entry is far above the other beowulf authors. For every point written a link or source is given wich gives a lot of credability and the text is created with small easy to understand words and clear explanations so that even a small child could grasp it and that is very much appreciated atleast for me.
Often people just write 10 words and say omg, hype, this is the time to buy etc an obvious atempt to just hype the numbers for a quick short term trade.
But when i read guldvaskarns entry i got really hooked and hopeful that beowulf has a bright future.
Maybe im biased because im from sweden but we will see if he or she was right about beowulf.
Thanks Sooz. Not sure where that leaves us, but hopefully we shall hear something from Kurt in the next week or two.
Afternoon.. TheFarEnd, SP prediction is very difficult, difficult even for those that can demonstrate good form.. However, where I disagree with you is, on making a “like for like” - Market cap/70p.. Yes, we back then had only 200+ M shares, compared with today’s 800+M shares, however, in respect of the remaining risk, should BEM be awarded the concession, a completely different investment would then be on offer!
Any award for N.Kallak, would set precedent for S. Kallak (lager, although unmeasured)..
Nothing is fully measured, so we keep to what we do know! What we have been told by KB is, 250 M Tonnes would support mining production for 25 years (10M Tonnes P/A), or more if S. Kallak is mined..
Kallak(s) contains Millions of Tonnes of super high – grade with low impurities..
As you know, a premium is paid for each Tonne of high – grade ore sold, ranging from say, $5 - $40 P/T.. The total cost P/T to mine could be as much as $25 P/T imo.. Rio Tinto for example, have got this down to $14/15 P/T, but we cannot compare like for like on this, Australia is a huge country, and Capital investment by the miner is also huge, with the aim to lower energy - production costs to an absolute minimum.
My understanding is, that any production capacity re Kallak will be governed by the Environment court (permits), however, should Kallak one day, be in a position to offer say, eight million tonnes P/A to the market, at say, again, with an average net - take of a low $50 P/T, Those figures do look good, even when the unknowns will have to be discounted in respect of any JV or other…
My point being, the increased number of shares is a big consideration for investors, but the investment then on offer, would be very different, and with BEM’s future secured, plans for Kosovo and Finland would be actioned much sooner.. It would be factored in imo… All imo atb…
