Need some news here it’s a bit flat just buys coming in daily imho
Lot of buys this morning
Let’s see what happens
I'll bet it's a 'drill investigation or results' closely followed by another cash grab by BoD! Same old, same old. We have been had! End of!
Potentially regarding the raise rumours or some kind of holdings RNS.
I would also add an apology I'm not able to respond directly on here as I'm using my smart phone and I'm not tech savvy.

Agree I hope it does get to production Tiggrr
The local economy could really do with this going into production after the recent closure of Wylfa nuclear power and the Rio aluminium plant near Holyhead.
I was brought up in Amlwch and can't quite believe how bad the local economy is to what it was in the 70's and 80's when I was brought up there. So sad to see! This would be a game changer for the north of Anglesey!
I've been thinking of taking a position for a while now, looks like the time is coming around
I no one person who will be happy 😉
Not happy with no news coming and possible raise imho

Anglesey for the past 10 years have declared Parys - 'Massive Potential' - yet just like a Fatberg it just sits there ; Meanwhile the Director rides the Gravy Train with a stonkingly wonderful Salary , why should they care about shareholder value?
Sells?

From one CEO to another, you can bet your bottom $ what is coming next, this lot could not realise value if it kicked them in the teeth, for goodness sake what about monetising the Grangesberg stake like the former CEO eluded to.
What about securing project finance for Parys Mountain
Why not bring in a JV partner who will do the paying
Instead they have probably made the call to the nearest bucket shop broker who has probably been forward selling over the last month (or more) and then will offer them a 'great deal' of £500k/£600k for a near 50% discount, 2p in January now .90p bid, well done that new CEO.
Where is that Alan Green propagandist fellow now?
Has been discussion on other message boards about potential further dilution via shareplacing to raise money.
While I welcome the ability to raise funds in a difficult market as we saw with the previous £1million raised it is incredibly disheartening to see your portfolio slide further in the Red.
I have no intention of selling my shares as I had always a long term plan and either a win or lose scenario here. And although drops or rises make little difference as im holding out for eventual production, I did originally overextend myself in my initial holding in 2021--2022.
My biggest annoyance is I could have waited 3 years and bought my current holding at a fraction of the cost, despite topping up over time im in at an average of 3.8p or so.
That being said I believe this will eventually come good
I’ve had these over 30 years. In the early days they’d go up and down between 1p and 9p every year. Sadly no such upwards movement these days :(
0.5p not far away!
I think the MMs just dropped it a tad, purely out of boredom! 🤣. I've been in here and watching for over 10 years too, and for all that time we've been told "how promising the test drills have been at Parys'.... etc, etc, etc". Starting to feel like they can't even be bothered with even that any more. Maybe they've realised that they'll keep getting paid either way. 😠. GLA (I think we'll need more than luck tho!).
Riveting action here 😴😴😴
Hi Slim, I'm very chilled here. For over a decade I've been waiting for something exciting to actually happen. You know where that's got me..nowhere! So, not expecting owt now. Have fun guy's and good luck to us all 👍

😴😴😴 the click is ticking though the alarm is set gla
What chance does AYM have of raising between 100 & 200 million pounds when Rosebank, distillers of very fine whisky and currently producing, is struggling to raise £40 million. No chance.
Rebrand to Anglesey No Mining
Not much else can be said.

We await interim’s now I think before DFS and how they gonna fund the mine imho
Exactly nothing wrong with being positive a discussion about the fundamentals is good for aboard also
Agreed. Constructive discussion on either side of the spectrum is welcome here. I have seen the dangers of Rampers sucking in novices in my time.
That being said I dont think AYM is really at a point to attract many rampers or derampers, as on the whole its relatively stable. The time I have been in here since 2021, it ticks up or down. I think the dilution is what caused the medium term drop in price to current levels.
If we do see some rapid upward movement in the future I believe this is when the rampers tend to flock in for a pump and dump scenario.
I think those currently on the message board that are on the extreme positive end of the spectrum are purely positive rather than ramping.
I believe I would fall on the positive end of the spectrum as I believe the Anglesey asset one day will go into production. I intend to sell my main holding at many many multiples of the current price, and then let my isa run.
I think positivity and believe is a requirement to any long term investment, otherwise whats the point.
😴😴😴😴
As mentioned previously, I found this an interesting discussion providing food for thought.
Many thanks honestbob and sharehuzzarski for the adult exchange of opposing views:
a refreshing change from the incessant ramping. Keep up the good work!
Meanwhile, I'll continue holding my residual AYM shares until the Parys mists clear (if only, if ever!) and we can see whether we're sinking for good or striding confidently into the sunlit uplands of profitable mining. Good luck to all LTHs.

Sorry typo apologies there meant parys mountain will have a DFS announcement soon and costings , maybe government funding aswell as maybe some of you might remember the official who visited the site last year
Pawys mountain
Yes I’ve read that earlier I think with the recent employee with vast experience in mining they moving forward with parys mountain to mining stage imho
Recent note from BNP Paribas underscores the strong fundamentals driving #copper prices:
"Copper prices are up >20% YTD, yet investment decisions on several brownfield projects have been pushed back. We estimate USD 13,000/t copper (spot USD 10,400/t) is required to achieve a 15% IRR for a conceptual project with second quartile cash costs. Further, this incentive price has increased by 30% since 2018 given the persistent capex inflation"
Below chart shows Chinese imports remaining at elevated levels versus previous 5 years. 👇
Anglesey Mining $AYM offers demonstrably the largest and most advanced #copper project in the UK at Parys Mountain.

He won’t do that after all the negative comments he’s made about the company
Share H
Like you I see many challenges ahead
My approach is simple at 1.5p downside modest - in event of all go wrong. Upside several times more.
Fully accept can go either way if goes bump disappointing but will not upset me too much. Price I will have paid for potential upside and an interest in a development on the Island
Share H I am not commenting on the quality of your posting which raises pertinent points. I am afraid I don't know the answer to all of them.
I am simply producing the latest information on the company website.
It may be if you email the company they will answer your questions
They have done so in the past

HB, if you say I am talking rubbish then why haven’t we got all the permits, why haven’t we got banks throwing money at AYM, and why haven’t we got mobilised. The recent drillings only confirm original ones.
I would argue ….and remains current…..is not true. According to Welsh Water there is nearby a large reservoir which is causing concern. Yes, at one time the ore was to be removed, shipped and processed elsewhere even at sea was a suggestion. That is not efficient and expensive. Now the plans are to process the ore below ground which may have a detrimental affect on the reservoir.
Suzki re planning etc your understanding same as mine extracts from website below
Planning permission for a 1,000tpd mine was obtained in 1988, reviewed in 2006 and remains current.
Mining conditions are good, metallurgy presents no problem and planning permission has been obtained. Some aspects of the tailings arrangements might require further consents. A review of new regulatory requirements introduced since 1991 has not revealed any major hurdles for the project.
Extract
As of way back (years) I was under the impression that all the paperwork was in place with Anglesey council and sub surface water was clean enough to be discharged in to water courses and allowed to drain away. Maybe there was a time limit on the paperwork. Mind you Environmental resources Wales has reared it's head since then.
Last post: sharehuzzarski, 28 May 2024 20:20
Ag up 40%+ in 3 months since I started buying. Forecast is 150% in 12 months.
Water permits are not in place. The biggest problem is fat Joe last year decided along with the Irish outfit who was to do the tunnelling that some of the processing of ore will be done below ground to make AYM viable. That will involve the use of chemicals which cannot be allowed, in liquid or gas/ fume form to enter the soil.which is extremely difficult to avoid.
Inter generational wealth building it is then :)
Most of you will be long gone if digging ever starts.
It appears that AYM has not as yet applied for the surface and below ground water discharge permits from Anglesey County Council and Welsh Water. That’s why nobody is throwing £200 million at AYM for mobilisation. Applications have been made and granted for the proposed nuclear power station if it were based at Wylfa…….on the web. Nowt about AYM.

Interim news due in June , not far off hopefully find out what’s happening with Granesberg and possibly funding news for pawys mountain mine
It takes 25 years to build and bring online a nuclear power station and given that it's still very much in the talked about stages it will still be on line before AYM produces a single ounce of copper We'll all be gone by then.

Fair comment
Some of what I say is also in jest albeit half serious. Perhaps it does not convey or indeed i am just an odd fellow.
Probably all of the above
At Very least it gets some activity on the message board.
In the old days when I was young and had plenty of spare money before kids I would look on the LSE board on the hot chat or back then it may have been highest posts on a particular share. Then quickly research and see if a short to medium length trade is feasible (back then long term was not on my radar).
Now im not saying we should all start posting 1 word replies to each other, but more active this board the better, if 10 new lth invest in here on the back of a bit of exposure and each buyer purchases 100,000 shares, between them its 1 million shares out of circulation.
Keep building up a nice pot here Wayne won’t be this cheap for very long imho

Indeed it will
In any event I share H - I shouldn't be distracted by the side show at Parys as you probably know from your contacts Granesberg will be the game changer
As general rule I smoke Benson and Hedges thankyou for asking.
They were indeed 3p eighteen months ago.
But 9 months ago they were 1p and as such now up 45 % from then which is what I said.
Basic maths.
Why be so abusive and intolerant because you think I have made a mistake. It not very pleasant and does not reflect well on you.

…..another thing you forget is you need a large body of fresh water to help cool the reactors. Using sea water is expensive and the rumour is that Llyn Alaw has been pencilled in as there is around the thousand acres of hardly populated land available.
…..and where will you get the labour from? A nuclear power station takes at least 2000 highly paid bods on site to construct a nuclear power station. AYM will not be able to compete.
Forget this one!
Decommissioning of a nuclear power station takes around 50 years….Dounreay in Scotland for example. So Wylfa site will not be available for any type of build until close to the end of the century.
Besides the Wylfa site is not big enough to accommodate a new generation of nuclear power station which will be a lot bigger than Hinckley Point C.
Sharebuzzaski is the biggest deramper on lse, it also goes by sharebel
Not near parys mountain it’s right on coast on original site so stop your deramping nonsense that you always post on here , this mining project will go ahead imho

Share H on this occasion I think you might be wrong. Several miles distance between Wylfa and Parys. New power station to be on site of old. Planning permission held for mine when active power station there.
But in unlikley event there is a compulsory purchase I think liklihood it be for peanuts long long gone. So could see purchase well in excess present market value.

All I heard from that interview was the words “A clear Path”
I think that’s exactly what we as investors have been waiting to hear.
An excellent first interview with the CEO. He's bought a veteran Rio Tinto geologist to Parys Mountain this week - should be interesting to hear what they have to say after.

Another day of buys all be it relatively small
Lots of buys again today all albeit small amounts seems to be daily these buys atm
Thanks T Trooper, much appreciated. I'm in a few other juniors on AIM and it's an identical story everywhere.
Given the commodity Bull cycle just starting and the need to secure domestic critical metal supplies, projects like AYM are coming more into focus so I'll be building a position here, speak more soon!
I also apologise to all that alot of my posts is centred around my own position. And although perhaps unsurprisingly I care about myself and my own success over others I promise im not an ego maniac.
I have always leaned towards posting my own rationale and decision making processes as an amateur investor for all to see (even as far back as 2009) when I started on the LSE message boards.
I believe it hold benefit for other amateur investors particularly when the technical stuff goes over alot of peoples heads.
I would hazard a guess that low trading volumes and relatively low shares in circulation in general, can make this one a difficult one to be able to buy at times.
When I first started building a position here in 2021 I had to split my buys as I could not buy in any large quantity.
Again it bode well if any buying pressure is sustained this can move very fast.
It was actually this that caught my attention in 2021 and how AYM came on my radar to begin with.
I saw it had spiked rapidly from just above 2p all the way up to above 8p very fast. It caught my eye at 6p. Did some research and was converted to AYM :). Initial purchase at around 5.4p or so with mind to buying as many shares I could down to 4p.
I wrongly believed this being somewhat of a no brainer anything sub 5p was a bargain and that it would bounce off the low 4's and settle in a trading range of 5.5-6.5p.
Had the world and indeed markets been in a different place in 2022 could this of potentially happened or not is on my mind sometimes.
That being said my average is now 3.8p with a substantial number of shares in the millions.
Being completely honest what got me hooked beyond what i believe is the fundamentals and potential of a huge success story here was the fact that AYM has been at 90p in its history.
This led me to consider what occurred to get it to 90p and could a theoretical situation of both a producing grangesberg and Anglesey get us there again and beyond.
The answer is theoretically yes.
I believe once this is further along the line the share price will pop off big time.
I always recommend to all grab your holding while you can in relation to were you wish to sell in the future. For me 5p or 1p is irrelevant.
However derisking at 10-15p in the future is on the cards I will let my main holding run. Win or Lose :)

Here’s to another good week !!
This is ticking up on only a few thousand pounds worth more buys than sells. Imagine if the buying begins to outstrip in the tens of thousands or indeed the buys simply keep trickling in. We could be sitting closer to 3p in several weeks in theory.
Certainly open to someone looking for a trade to double their money still. Perhaps along the way we gain some more long termers.
