Good morning all.
I can see some of you are replying to that Ndn71 to something he must have said about me, see, I filtered her so I all see when she posts is this - ! This message has been filtered, please adjust your filters to view - which tells you how much I care for what she has to say, really. It is a green blip on my screen...a passing little fart, a burp really.
Anyway, thanks for the words my dears and now back to waiting ..it will arrive.
Re Mr ST Yes a big step out of line for you there Ndn! The truth will out, is this your real character?
I had found some of your posts slightly on the side of reason as I cant stand constant ramping but now doubt that thinking.
People aren’t still replying to ndn71 surely?
Oh well I tip my hat to him now.
He is a smart guy to be fair!!
Remember they work in 3/4’s or pairs
Alittle harsh but to be expected from you(Ndn71)!
From what I've witnessed so far MrST seems to be an all round decent guy thats quite knowledgeable about these shares and brings a good level of humour to the board aswell.
Wcotter17,
I am sorry if I sounded a bit stroppy in my post to you earlier. It has been a year here and so much water under the bridge that I let my brusque ways get the best out of me. Please, accept my apologies.
About Darpins, have a look at Molecular Partners (one under my radar).
ATB and good luck.
ST
Maybe they won’t put out an RNS as it’s just a bit of confirmatory admin, but mainly just to have a laugh watching this BB and the increasingly irate reaction
Can’t see a 7am RNS, opening hours 8:30 -4:30!!! looking forward to an intraday though
Do you honestly think they announce as soon as they receive confirmation? There’s a reason most RNS’ arrive at 7am - it usually takes time to draft it and run it through the correct channels
Get your coat ST, you’ve pulled
Hi Again Mr. Spacetomato,
Let me respond by firstly assuring you that I am by no means a ‘deramper’ as you suggest nor would I waste my time in partaking in such a derogatory pursuit.
FYI, I have been an avid follower of Avacta for well over 12 months already and I’ve been and still am a relatively heavy investor in Avacta shares ever since. At the outset, I would have classed myself as a total novice regarding the pharmaceutical industry but by today I can modestly claim to be half of a world’s expert on the subject, as well as a devout evangelical spreader of the Avactian good word.
My reference to a waste of space was perhaps a failed attempt to bring some light humour to my honest appreciation of your contribution to my post. Although you may have misunderstood me and responded a tad suspiciously, For my part, I take no offence and look forward to a developing companionship.
P37 of the attached - you’d think given the situation and type of device they’d have got their skates on with approval - guess that’s the public sector for you!

The MHRA say a response within 5 days in their conformity assessment docs so I think it is most likely intra day tomorrow given it was submitted Monday.
As you say if it came post 4:30 Friday could be 7am RNS but I would say most likely intra day tomorrow.
They have to publish material news ASAP so I disagree.
An RNS tomorrow is surely unlikely as MHRA will get back to us in office hours (it could have been between 16:30 and 17:30 on Friday I guess) so all being well we should have an intraday tomorrow or latest on Tuesday.
Wcotter17,
First, I didn't say your question was a waste of space, and since you seem to "know" about Darpins your question looks like a deramp to some here; maybe you didn't intend that to be the case, but seeing this is a first post and and post questioning affimers I said you could indeed have, instead, done your research first before coming here on you "first" day and ask about affimers qualities face competition?
But even regarding Darpins I guess you don't know much either; Darpins are good too and is being trialled in other countries, but again, I let you do your homework.
Good luck
Mr Spacetomato, you sure you didn't mean dolphins?
Yes, Mr Spacetomato, I understand that way back in 2008 DARPpins, were heralded as a new generation of therapeutics. Although at that time, taken together they were seen as a prominent member of the next generation of protein therapeutics with the potential to surpass existing antibody drugs. However, they don’t appear for whatever reason to have since materialised as effective ideal agnostic, antagonistic, or inhibitory drug candidates.
Meanwhile, thanks for your much-appreciated response to my redundant/waste of space (excuse the pun) question.
DARPins! there! I couldn't care less for them you see... all I have in my mind are Affimers!
Sorry..not dorpins..I forgot the other one apart from aptamers..hold on
wcotter17
You are a bit late in the discussion. I suggest you check some of the very first posts about the topic you raised; it has been extensively discussed; I will summarise for you, though: We beat the competition ( aptamers, dorpins, etc..size, room temp...etc..).
Good luck in your research.
Apart from Avacta being at the forefront of the introduction of a novel generation of Affimer® affinity reagents, which have the capability of competing and eventually replacing the highly lucrative global antibody pharmaceutical markets estimated to be worth in excess of $50bn annually, are there other equivalent competitive proteins/processes, which would suffice equally?
In other words, are there any reasons to claim that Avacta’s human stefin A protein is exclusive in any way to other potential candidates? If so, will the eventual winner be governed by the same vagaries associated with the infamous VHS Vs Betamax wars?
