Looking Forward to the update on the 29th Hopefully it will be confirmed That the Company is Back in Profit
I have been in this Company A long time and Fundamentally Its a Excellent Business Model Should be well over £1.50 soon .
Its taking so long I got more at 70p will hold for 150p+ I think!
Fingers crossed today’s RNS is the start
We are still languishing down here with that last trading update.
Upbeat on all fronts. October fy results could be when the penny finally drops here and the market begins to see how cheap this is trading at. Would be nice to have that upbeat trading statement with seeing a reversion back to profit with the added bonus of upward revision of aircraft valuations which would make the mcap look even more silly.
Just a matter of time now
This should start its climb back to 180 -200P very soon!
Yup love it when I make the right move ..... keep on climbing baby :)
Slowly creeping up ..... so cheap!
Yup I dumped the money I had from (BVC) what a dog of a share ... into this and SLP and instantly in profit! ... this should reach around 150 -180 by year end!
AVAP looking good .... may add more as it looks so cheap to me! ... abit worried about another pandemic!
I will definitely be coming nack into AVAP in the near future after having bailed some while ago having been in originally since 2019. Unlike triumph I look forwards to seeing the debt pile increasing since a leasing company without debt is a leasing company not doing any business.
It's a well run business with senior management who have slways had my confidence which has only increased in their handling of the pandemic. Hopefully senior lenders share my view and we can grow the fleet upto the 100 level over the next 2 to 3 years by which time Mr Chatfields phone will be ringing with buyout offers. All good in my view.
Debt pile going down (although still high), revenue going up (although still a long way to go), profits improving (still making a loss, but that should flip to a profit soon). The key thing is that things are definitely improving on all fronts. NAV of around $2.20 which should only go up as we continue to come out of covid. Also Japan opening to tourists should certainly help here.
AVAP is still far below the radar, but am convinced that eventually value will out as its a well run ship with a decent track record pre covid. I'm a buyer at these levels and will hold for another couple of years at least.
yup have some of these!
Where can i see what their bonds are trading for, in terms of value they have several times more in bonds vs tradable shares. I'm wondering if some bond holders are selling their shares short as a hedge against their bonds positions? Hence the massive depression in value.
Naturally inflation has eaten away at future earnings, even so this co. is unbelievably undervalued despite improving its position its over last yr or so. Aside from PA none of their current airlines seem to be in difficulty. Their loan re-payments are at fixed rates / largely hedged.
you're not alone.
This is a silly price ... I will add a few more! ... I see easyjet is not doing to well ....but this is a much better run company!
The issue is not whether AVAP services airlines in Russia, but the possibility of Russia seizing aircraft of AVAP clients entering Russian airspace. airBaltic, an AVAP client, from memory, has suspended flights to Russia and Ukraine, which accounted for circa 7pct of its capacity. Even if it doesn't 'lose' any aircraft, operators such as airBaltic will be hit hard, which will flow on to aircraft lessors both directly via loss of revenue and indirectly by suppressing lessor charges just as the industry was edging towards recovery.
Avation has zero planes in Russia
Leasing companies have $10BN tied up
This is not looking good ....Putin has passed a new law to keep foreign-owned aircraft in Russia, blocking sanctions which say the planes should be repatriated.
Around 75 per cent of airplanes used by Russian airlines are leased, so the Western sanctions demanding their return are a serious blow to the country, according to an aviation expert Euronews Travel spoke to.
That went well then - not!
Avation will be exhibiting at the Master Investor Show on the 19th of March 2022. To meet them get your free ticket using code AVATION here: https://masterinvestorshow-2022.reg.buzz/
Well done - still underwater but holding on for hopefully long term return

I am adding here … gift
