To realise value through exiting the investments over time, the Company invests in early (but not seed) or later stage investments in unquoted fintech businesses.

It is quiet here, yeah. SP is frustrating but nothing more - still very confident in the long-term here. Communications from the company has been pretty poor, here's some recent news on holdings, some of which should probably have been RNS'd:

Monese expected to value at over £1bn this half (only valued at around £200m in AUGM latest accounts so could be worth 40m(!!!) to our NAV):

Hey All,
Quiet here. Any thoughts on the recent price drop? This is my worst performing investment, but I am reluctant to sell.
Thanks.
So now we have to wait and see how much of a hit our Zopa investment is going to take from this fundraising. We also have to wait and see if we're taking part in the fundraise to help soften that blow.
Hopefully nothing drastic, but either way the bank licence is worth the slight NAV hit in the long term. Ideally some of our other holdings (esp. Tide) will absorb the impact and then some.
Interesting to see someone take 4% of the company a couple weeks before results.
Bodes well IMO.
Link to RNS not working
Cheers JD
I'll get back in once it has invariably dropped lower. Will make it a LTH as company is going somewhere some day
Not me groover. I also sold out, at 108. Despite all the coverage and good news flow the past few months the sp hasn't performed as i had hoped.
And is now on a downtrend. Though coverage today in IC...
I also received no such email despite being registered.
Cosmic forces were moving against me again, or something like that.
I appear to be cursed.
This was me - 24-Sep-19 11:37:20 107.00 322 Unknown* 106.00 108.00 344.54
No RNS this morning. SP had been struggling for a couple of weeks to hold above 108 after a drop from a respectable 113 and then dropped again this morning to 106. Given all the sells lately I cashed out because it was off its avg and I couldn';t afford to lose any money given headache I'm currently goign through with SXX & Bloe.
It was only small holding but I like the company and the people behind it. Bit of a ****er !
Hopefully I can get back in but it has to be below the 103 I paid
So, while it doesn't say it explicitly, this Tide news pushes us up to 113.2p NAV.
Also, received an email today about pre-registering for a new Seedrs funding round. Doesn't say the valuation yet but fingers crossed for an uplift.
Nothing but sales recorded for last week.
Really thought this would be sitting at 115 - 120 by now

Rumours of a funding round for Seedrs, which we'll be in involved it. Our current holding is worth £1.9m so hopefully we'll see a decent uplift.
Saw a very good article; trying to find again to post, by respected brokers giving AUGM a 700+ price from 2024
Yes, positive actions. Patience is required here...
Neds and Chairman putting their money where their mouths are. Nice.
subscription offer at 112pps. Looks good.
We should know more at the AGM which is next week believe...

All reassuringly positive, but what will the terms of this placing be? Should a PI invest in AUGM direct, or access it via one of the IIs participating in the placing, eg if it's done at a discount like so many are.
Must have missed it! Encouraging news...
Just saw a Farewill advert during the break on ENG vs AFG in the cricket.
Think any immediate movement will be decided by who buys into the new issue.
Cannacord upping stake again! Along with more investment and placing for more investment. Very positive news, hopefully will be reflected in sp moving a lot further north!!
Pleasing results. Top two investments performing very well, NAV increase. Cannacord increased stake from 8.3% to over 10%...
Yep. We know there's been a big uplift in the value of quite a few of our investments since the Interims, but always a struggle to value these private companies officially so we'll have to see if there's any valuation info they have which isn't in the public domain.
