ive traded this week,,they are trading
Does anyone know why I can't buy AUE on TD Waterhouse yesterday or today? Are they not trading during the period of name change? Will I need to buy ASO next week? Cheers.
Don't know about you, but I have 180K not 180 million shares so I have always been along for the ride.
Notsosmartmart - I agree, but still like to dream. Hopefully, they (Avesoro) start giving themselves (executive/so called employees) even more shares, reducing the companies massive position from an observer perspective. They at least are trying to make it look like they are going to be around for the long haul. Truth or not, we are just here for the ride.
Avesoro Resources has granted 95,500,000 ordinary share options to directors and employees. The options have an exercise price of 1.575p per share - the closing price of the common shares on 6 December. Half the options vest and become exercisable on the first anniversary of grant and the other 50% on the second anniversary of grant, except for those granted to the non-executive directors, which vest and become exercisable as to 50% on grant and 50% on the first anniversary of grant. The options issued are capable of being exercised up to 6 December 2021. Chief executive Serhan Umurhan and chief financial officer Geoff Eyre were granted 20 million and 16.5 million options respectively while non-executive directors David Netherway, Jean-Guy Martin and Loudon Owen were each granted 5.5 million.
Oopps AUE should be Avesoro Res
Whatzhisface - There is still a possibility that AUE will remain listed but it is very slim. I sold out at 1.55 but have not yet ruled out the possibility of jumping back in. A Fairytale ending would be AUE to remain Listed, a sudden Company announcement that the Mine is fully operational, Projected average AISC for 2017 to be below 1100. I have banged on about this before but I still cannot believe that the Major Investors would have supported the "appointment" of MNG as the company's Saviour with guarantees of either: A) AUE would not be taken private, or B) If AUE were to be taken private the minimum take out SP would be someway North of were it is today.
Maybe, they aren't going private? The guy at the top is a billionaire, millions are not that important to him. The name change is what interests me, most logical reason is to make MNG public, but being protectionist, they want total control. Most classic example, Berkshire Hathaway. I know I'm probably dreaming, but what else do you have left at this point. Sell, learn from your mistakes and never show yourself around here again?
That's 5% of the free float, when MNG is holding around 75% of the 5.2bn shares outstanding. That is indeed a big transaction. Also price was 1.65 which is 10% above equity fund raising. So if this was a institution why didn't they participate in the placement? Maybe somethings coming up. Bank waiver will end next week. Might expect new repayment schedule with guarantee from MNG.
It's only just over £1m (65m shares) - so nothing to get excited about (ha ha) and it has not moved the share price!!
Anybody. Any ideas as wat is going on
Yeah, I agree, if they do in fact not take it private, and are in for the long haul (and their own personal gain) then there is money to be made potentially (or should I say, losses to be partially recouped. . . .)
Denzil, surely if the shares multi-bag in the future and you are still holding... you will make a bit of money???? Of course they want to make money, same as everyone else here, this doesnt look like going private any time soon, doesnt make sense imho!
Yeah, I thought I had read it somewhere before. I agree with you!
you've got it DENZIL into the sunset they go with OUR money. I said this about six weeks ago!!!!!!
I just don't get it; why issue director shares if you're going Private? Is the strategy to deplete the share price, issue billions of shares including some to yourself, pile in other companies into the LSE listing, announce the company is running properly at last, then disappear into the sunset when the share multi-bags and makes these guys multi-millionaires?
Thanks Milly1joby - I have now read the RNS and lo and behold first trade has just gone through.
No trades yet but now the RNS may kickstart something
Anybody seen any trades going through this morning? (I don't have L2)
How much news do you want? They haven't even finished this last round of insanity. If there is light at the end of this tunnel, it's at least a year off. Or, we're just going to buried, in this tunnel.
He's got more balls than me with this s..t company
