Puppy can you share James black at numis email details please so other holders can subscribe for 1.5p per share offer. Again thank you puppy, that was great research. I nearly missed 1.5p price
PuppyDog whats your expectation for Aureus P/E for next year??? Large gold mining company stocks trade for at least 20 P/E....
I am going to try to double my holding and get an additional 300,000 shares to an average 4.5 p. I think that that share price is achievable within the next year to 18 months.
How many shares are you going for?
Thanks again puppy, your the only one who picked up on this
My advice if you don't get shares at 1.5p vote no, contact your broker and put in a email you are voting no. They need a majority don't let them Turn you over well spotted kenj you got in a few minutes before me. Great minds and all that.
Another important fact is the vote on or around the 29 th November to approve the dilution of shares and this whole deal needs minority shareholder approval. MNG are excluded from voting as are institutional share holders. See below The Company has announced the Special Meeting will be held on or around 29 November 2016 to approve, among other things, the Related Party Transactions. The record date for the Special Meeting will be the close of business on 27 October 2016. At the Special Meeting, the resolution approving the Related Party Transactions must be approved by a majority of the votes cast by the shareholders of the Corporation, other than (i) MNG and (ii) any of its respective related parties, associates or affiliates, and any joint actors of the foregoing (which, collectively, currently own approximately 662,232,429 Shares of the Company, representing approximately 55.0% of the Company's issued share capital), present in person or by proxy at the Special Meeting. The independent directors of the Company's Board of Directors have unanimously approved the Related Party Transactions and recommend that shareholders of the Company vote in favour of these transactions.

The Broker Option is exercisable on more than one occasion at any time prior to 4.30 p.m. London Time on 28 October 2016. Any Broker Option Shares issued pursuant to the exercise of the Broker Option will be issued on the same terms and conditions as the Placing Shares issued pursuant to the Placing. The Broker Option may be exercised by Numis with the agreement of the Company and there is no obligation on Numis to exercise the Broker Option or to seek to procure subscribers for Broker Option Shares or subscribe for any Broker Option Shares itself. Accordingly, any allocation of Broker Option Shares is conditional upon such exercise and is therefore not a firm allocation. The maximum number of Broker Option Shares that may be issued pursuant to the exercise of the Broker Option is 540,000,000. This means tomorrow is the last day to apply for shares at 1.5p offer price, they way I have read the terms and conditions is that you have to apply to numis to receive a share allocation.
Yes, I sent an e-mail to Halifax and copied James Black of Numis in. Not heard anything yet.
"The Broker Option is exercisable at the discretion of Numis on one or more occasions at any time prior to 4.30 p.m. London time on 28 October 2016." As I understand this , Numis only have until tomorrow to announce this offer to shareholders. So you have very little time to contact your stockbroker and to ask them to apply for shares on your behalf. And even then, Numis may still decide that they can't be bothered. I never liked the wording in the RNS for the shareholder offer. "The Broker Option may be exercised by Numis at their discretion, with the agreement of the Company, but there is no obligation on Numis to exercise the Broker Option or to seek to procure subscribers for Shares pursuant to the Broker Option." If MNG really wanted existing shareholders to participate in the fund raising they could easily have made a real Open Offer. The necessity for shareholders to contact their broker and ask them to then contact Numis, is simply putting obstacles in the way of the Open Offer ever happening, (which I don't think it will). MNG is owned by one Turkish man, who will now have a very sizable share of the soon to be renamed AUE. He is not used to having shareholders, and like others on this board, I expect he will soon look to take the company private, so I decided get out. It is a pity, because I think the mine is at last being run properly, but I am not convinced that existing shareholders will benefit from this. My limit SELL was triggered this morning so I now have no financial interest in AUE, but will continue to watch what happens. Good luck to those still holding.
You are wrong....... read the small print.......so wrong and your misinforming countless people.
I think the procedure has not started yet. We need to wait for the shareholders meeting. After the aproval they would start the subscription.
I'm with Td direct and they informed me a open offer and subscription offer were the same and they had no record of any corporate action pending. I also tried James black at numismatic and he was unavailable. Anyone else know anything?
Just to clarify, email you sent to Halifax you copied and sent to numis to James black. Is that correct?
Thanks for that, great work...
Yesterday I rang Aureus Mining Brokers, Numis, to find out how I could apply for shares. They said they would only take orders through my own broker. I phoned Halifax Share Dealing and they said they did not know anything about the offer. After checking on Aureus website they told me the offer was a subscription for shares and Halifax do not get involved with these. If the offer was made an open offer then they would be told about it and be able to offer shares through their share dealing platform. I then phoned Numis again and was told that they had a dealing relationship with Halifax and I should send an e-mail to the Halifax stating my intention to buy shares and asking them to subscribe to the share offer for the shares I wanted. If I copied the broker in he would allocate shares to the Halifax with payment due in December. Share dealing services do not seem to know of this offer so to participate you have to let Numis and your own broker know of your requirement. On reflection even if Numis allocate shares to me via the Halifax it could be that Halifax refuses to play ball and organise the transfer to my share dealing account. I also asked how many shares I could apply for, I have 300000 at the moment. The broker said I could request any amount but if it was a million or over it might get reduced. James Black is the Numis guy I spoke to, although there are others, and Numis phone number is on Aureus website. It would be easier and more transparent if this was not a subscription but an open offer, where everybody could participate. Halifax told me that this should be raised at the shareholders meeting so if anybody is going could they raise this?
Just saying my buy is showing as a sell
Bryn, I have no idea if the option was taken up or not and that's the problem! As a small shareholder I await with baited breath whether I will be offered extra shares at 1.5p.
ShareDummy please can you explain how you pick up that Brokers were not interested? What sort of information are you privy to?
Why do some of you guys post info that is freely available on "Recent Share Trades for Aureus Mining (AUE)" section of this page. Is it just me or is this clutter.
