I haven't look at this since I sold over a year ago. It looks like a lot of good things have happened. Just not the share price. It might be a good time to get back in.
read an article on h&l that global demand for gold to rise to 4 yr high in 2019.down again today.seems nothing is gonna help this atm.
I'm also wondering why the share price has suddenly slumped like this.
I don't really know the answer but my hunch is that it's related to the security situation in Burkina Faso, which has deteriorated quite dramatically. I guess you'd have to describe the situation there as a full-scale insurgency.
I note that other miners with operations in Burkina Faso, like Roxgold, are also having a hard time.
MickyBee,wish i knew but many reasons given on here eg 75% owner, possible M&A,s, equipment costs, underground mining costs, or perhaps small investors are going to be bought out soon, who knows!
Diehard, but why do we keep going down????
My recent buy is showing as a sell, wonder how many more and why ?
Hold in there Maple & MickyBee the only way is up from here (I must have\Wembley fever)
This share is just lose, lose, never any good news, why???
I just feel sick right now
Yes. 2019 will be tight, esp if POG drops again. There has been a lot of debt taken on to invest - plant optimisation and upgrades, mining fleet purchased, acquisition, drilling program, and next will be going underground. Once that works through, should be set up.
where will it all end?down every day now.
Looking at the guidance with the all in costs. Looks abit tight to me, I would of expected to see an improvement in costs.
diehard,,yes it does it goes down,,i doubt we will see a rise until we start to pay down debt,,all these SME gold miners have been beaten up
no matter how much positivity gets thrown our way this share price refuses to move!
Troajan - you beat me to it, forgive me for my repeat - its just that when I picked up on it this AM I got so exited
Nice to see ASO getting a mention in the DM, even if the DMs tipping track record is only average.

aso gets a mention.
Indeed. Results, new drilling, rampers nothing will move this when there is a shareholder with 75% holding
Nobody cares!
Share price was more pro rata than it is now before they even started producing ! Difficult to see what the problem is. They were even tipped as a buy last year in the Telegraph by Questor although he went on to say they got the timing wrong he went on to tip Centamin a couple of weeks ago. They have lost 25% since. Moral of the story if you see a tip by Questor short it ! POG not helping. What looked like a new bull run is fizzling out and that means gold could be heading much lower to put a new bottom in before it starts its rally proper. AISC increasing due to the pit going deeper and underground mining development costs. Still think this is way undervalued with only 25% or so in PI hands. 147 looks like the bottom for on the charts and I for one will be buying more if it hits that price.
produce 300,000oz per year with a share price of £65, we produce only a third less with a share price of £1.55p !
that seems strange then you remember ASO has issued 8 billion shares.
Apart from big increase in AISC coming up
Seems positive.
Haha, we got a biter! I’m not sure why the rise then drop. I’m a bit numb to this stock nowadays.
I am not going to rise to the bait Maple but have you seen the Div 1 positions!!. With regard to Aversoro we were told recently everything in the garden was rosy so why the drop, could it be to do with the possible M&A's that were mentioned?
