I think the G.O.M. meant Keep It Simple Stupid, imagine I'm Dr Watson ...
If you Google "Uncrossing Trade" you will find 6,440 half pages of A4. Would that be enough?
Would you explain please, As Winston used to say ' on half a page of A4'.
It sure does.........
Does that apply to the other 4 or 5 similier deals recently??
Don't get high and excited, it was only an "uncrossing trade".........

See reg. statement re: IMG, this time it's war! Have sold most of my IMG, Two dogs in one kennel... Also Dark Forces may be at work, JS comments in Investors Chronicle for example.
The universe 'will expand forever', new Nasa study on 'dark energy' concludes The universe will continue to expand forever, Nasa scientists concluded in a new study that sheds light on one of the greatest astronomical puzzles, “dark energy”. And rumour has it dark energy is an ARM design
I will sell ARM&TESCO when Buffett sells CocaCola-never. I will sell IMG when APPLE&INTEL sell/reduce their stakes. You sold ARM and want back in cheaper - good luck! My timing has never been that good. You refuse to say what you'd pay for ARM, ie fair value. You are shaking the tree to see if a few monkeys fall out...
Hi Opium, Never mind the smokescreens about Bill Gates, Warren Buffetts and defunct chips. Here is the simple logic for my posts. 1. Nothing grows forever. (Even you can’t disagree with that!) 2. Given that nothing grows forever, ARM must stop growing. ( I don’t know where and neither do you) 3. Whenever ARM does stop growing it will have to produce earnings of about 38p per share to sustain its present share price 4. To go from 5.5p per share to 38p per share it will have to grow by 700 % So It’s simple. Those who think ARM will grow 700% aught to hold or buy and those who think it won’t aught to sell. "Seven Hundred Percent" - I’ve already sold. Isn't it time you thought about doing the same!
If Warren Buffett can't value tech. Shares, depite esteeming Bill Gates as a manager, how the hell can you? Mr BearBull, shorted ARM at about 275p as I recall, what s.p. do you see in your crystal ball/ tarot cards? The defunct chips from 1st generation mobiles, now reside in car brake systems etc. Still earning a crust for ARM.

I know exactly what ARM does and some day their patents will be as valuable as those on single sideband, 8 track, comptometers, Betamax and Rolls Razors. And you're quite right, I'm not saying anything that wouldn't have been said about PanAm or Zawi or Woolworth or Madoffor Kaupting or Choices or MFI or TWA or Ilford or Fokker or Laker or Delorean, a few years back! If your happy long term, great, you probably bought when it was much cheaper. All I’m saying is it ain't a good buy for anyone getting in now.
Good luck with your short position but some of us think we can read the future... I would be interested to know what you think ARM does, most people get it wrong. You are saying nothing about ARM that wouldn't have been said about APPLE or Microsoft a few years back. People who are in for the long term will not sell this unique company. I won't mention what happened to Casey Jones ...
It's dropping because it's ludicrously expensive! It's currently 62 times earnings with a 0.7% yeald Too many people bought it for no other reason than that it was going up! Think 1927!
does every one know what happened to this share? why its keep dropping?
Pretty bubbles in the air They fly so high They reach the sky Then like your dreams They burst and die.............. Get out NOW!
I'm stickin with Bengy... £1500 in 3 days Yum!
Mr Buffett wouldn't buy microsoft on that basis either, but hip IT guys would, oneeyed man in kingdom of the blind/ WB' buy busnesses you understand', etc. IBM thought they could sell about 5 Computers in the whole world at in the 50's.
