Looks like it's on the move here at last .I think we have seen the lows now and contracts ECT should start rolling in very high risk reward company 😀
Correction....its planned for 21st, but we'll worth researching earlier than later... DYOR
Please excuse additional "planned"...in my last post
Appreciate the planned communications initiative planned for later this afternoon...Excellent idea as many potential investors need to understand the practical application and associated opportunities for aptamers as integrated screening, purification and 100% synthetically focussed drug treatment delivery mechanisms....what a future for healing mankind and 100% focussed on the ethics of the hypocratic oath....to relieve suffering and secondly heal.
Always see a webinar as a positive and not hiding through silence. Good stuff.
Watch the You tube video, brilliant technology, great potential. Let’s hope they monetise it all soon!

New interview, very exciting offering when compared to peers (AVCT)
You are right, wary is the right word. Mkt knows the potential (incl. Unilever) BUT they want to see numbers and cash flowing in; hopefully, we will get these soon.
People are wary of AIM. Just look what is happening with companies unable to raise additional funds which was not such a huge issue two years ago. Latest failures like Bidstack and Loop up leaving AIM with massive drop in SPs are a material hit for small cap investors. I have to be careful even though I have accumulated 3m shares in last three months. As a small investor that is quite a lot for me.
The fund raise last July was at a 78% discount and hurt LTHs and other then recent investors as the SP had been even higher. I have watched the last Investor Meet recording twice and re-read the RNSs of the last year multiple times. I have looked at their website. I think the Market Cap (SP) is ridiculously low and there is great potential but until the income stream rises there is always a risk that needs to be continuously reassessed.
I feel more confident after the Unilever announcement but that hardly moved the SP at all. Why was that??
Apta could do with a cornerstone investor to come in and provide the foundation to enable the company to progress further and faster than limited funds allow.
Plus, I don't understand people's (genuine?) fears about a fund raise; Co has cash until December, in a worst case scenario, by then a lot more deals will be announced, more projects will be closer to fruition etc, hence it's logical to assume that the SP will be higher; even if at 2-3p (IMO, conservative), the Mkt cap will be over 10 mln so even a 1mln raise (remember, the Co expects 6mln Revenues for FY2024 i.e. July24-to-June25) would only be a 10% dilution.
Yes, we need some numbers; however, the Co is progressing step by step towards completing many projects simultaneously, therefore Mgt might not be too worried about the cashflow right now but instead focus on completions; plus, the highly rewarding Options' Scheme for Directors and Employees (kicking off around September for FY23 Results) probably means that they don't need to spend their cash now on Share purchases, especially if they are confident of achieving their targets.
Personally, I'd rather see Mgt focus on sales/new business/successful project completions, than have them worrying about the daily ups and downs of the SP. Another 2-3 big RNSs should make people stop worrying IMO; until then, enjoy buying at this incredible SP.
This will be a good opportunity to get to hear about the technical side. The issue for investors is more around finances and funding to get to break even. A few more director share purchases at the current low price would help raise confidence.
Perhaps Unilever would provide a loan to keep the company on track with reaching that point. I am tempted to buy more but wary of over committing.

Too true LTB..what a great finish today and lots .
more coming. Gotta be a first for me...a bio which isn't run for the benefit of greedy directors. I have a good feeling about Aptamer....onwards and upwards and good pharma for those in need of it.
We'll get there Fboy, after a few more good RNSs, but I think it's unlikely today, especially for the stock to run out. Though I hope I am 100% wrong on this :)
...more savvy US investors coming on board in a couple of hours...and there won't be any stock left for them....proving what's comes down...springs back up when common sense returns

David,
I agree, the SP is kept low because of the shocking events of last year and also, the lack of hard numbers in the recent RNSs.
Hopefully, the next ones will have some numbers for the Market to digest.
This company has fallen from great heights and as with most small companies they will need to place soon. There is no harm in Iceman asking these questions. It's not in the day trader's best interests for these questions to be asked. I think that the last two RNS have been a bit waffly and haven't given much news just an update on what they hope to do and does look like an attempt to raise the shareprice. I think buying below 1p is ok with the usual caveats. These small companies have not been good for most private investors of late.
LTB - I understand the confidentiality of some deals but the announcement does not allay concerns about funding even if there is enough for the next 12 months. The SP should now be higher but the BoD are still building up the company and investor confidence after the shock of last year's low placing. I think this could be a winner and bought another 250k shares shown as a sell on LSE.
Good luck to you too, Iceman.
