For the last two days there have been very large buys in these shares, at lunch time today three trades worth £450K, Yesterday was similar. In all over 90% of shares traded were buys. How ever the share price has remained almost flat at 149.50. any thoughts as to what might be going here?
Good results and growth! A great company with good prospects
Hi Clive have a look at http://www.shareholderrights.co.uk/RightsOfAShareHolder/25.html I think the RNS just notifies that a trigger has been met (5%) for this shareholder.
Im new to rhis game can any one tell me what this means Notification of Major Interest in Shares Mon, 19th Jan 2015 16:50 RNS Number : 5591C Advanced Medical Solutions Grp PLC 19 January 2015
4000 shares get bought and were up to 125 :)
ticking up since i got in here, this could turn out to be one of my best long term stocks. I cant wait for the hernia device to be put out to market, if that takes off and proves to be popular could be in for a very good year
Yeah Ive bought in here (finally) the drop down to 110 actually worked well for me, I wouldnt expect much anytime soon but im intrigued to see how the share price plays out once the hernia thing is out there on the market this year. 110 seems reasonable for a long term (ish) hold. got a 150 target price
Regarding the buy of 213k I can now see why this share has be encouraged down to meet the order... Someone must know something that I would like to know ;-)
I would have to agree with you. Well established debt free company, in fact this company as we know settled off its loans early as it was doing better that required. Now that they have a door open over the other side of the big pond lets see what they can do over the next 12 months. For me this is a good solid stock to have sitting in the back ground
I saw this tipped and looked to buy it, but £1-11p per share price to buy, with a declared net asset value of only 11p per share, and earnings of less than 6p per share, in my opinion its well over priced.
AMS looks a cracking share, solid financials some good technology and a big customer base already out there, only going to get bigger and more stuff in the pipeline, looking at getting in today been watching for a long time and the price looks right
Harold we gona hit 125 yipeee..
Glad I bought in early as Robbie always has an influence on investors. Good times ahead! Great company!
last week still on this weeks blog on his site take a read ... good luck
paid 117 tipped by the nakedtrader ... good buy
I am in at the 125 level here. AMS has a lot going for it, the results speak for themselves really. There seems to be a history of progression and positive developments with a very bright outlook. The FDA clearance back in mid 2013 and an increasing market coverage in the US should yield some positive news in the next year. With a strong balance sheet after the early repayment of loans leaves the group in a very strong position. I look forward to the coming months.
This has been a long term holding for me and IMO another solid set of results and the outlook for further steady progress remains promising.
hmm, changed my mind, sold out now as wanted to switch some funds to IOF where the profit-warning crash looks like a good buy opp. good luck to all still holding, best wishes for eventual take-out. (i'll kick myself if that happens soon, but that's life eh)
i've taken some off the table, recent rise too tempting not too. but keeping half still in as have reasonable hopes for a take-over in 2014, fingers crossed.
Big spike today (108 high this am). No info in market that I can see, some say false market due to share shortage. Every time a share goes up is due to a share shortage at the last price traded. hat would be interesting is what caused the buyers to chase it up so quickly, some big buyers as house broker sold 2 lots 30k before pausing. I have held for a long time and currently staying with them but profit is very tempting
At last a return to £1.00…..will it hold ??
Always been quite on this thread Stable but it hasn't stopped it rising . Solid company with still more potential to grow.
Good figures, better divi, sorting out usa distributor, good final figures are expected. but very quiet on this board
No interest being shown here, yesterdays figures confirm all is well and expectations for whole year remain good increase in divi, although still lacking good news re usa distributor
Up again, is this just a rush into AIM stocks with those with ISAs that is driving this, or is something else going on behind the scenes?
