BBang, that’s all they are theories, as I say treat posts with ‘healthy scepticism’.
Conspiracy theories are amusing to say the least but there are other big fishes/LTHs who may not find it so. Hope you've got thick skin to take the flak Rox. GL
Hi BBang nope nothing purely “my opinion” and as usual thinking outside the box and trying to make sense of this tangled web.
GLA
Lets put things in prospective, similar shares in the market cross the board are behaving the same. I made a short analysis on the companies in similar sectors and with similar MC, they are going through the same waves and similar behaviour. This is re-assuring to some extend.
Guys really he and Silas Chou are business men wanting to multiply their money. Check Michael Kors:
IPO in 2011 and sold last stake in 2014.
Same will happen wirth AML. He will multiply and quit. Let it be 3 or 4 years. He will then own his F1 team free 4 lifetime.
There is no chance of taking this private, why would they when they can raise money in the markets, within 2 hours of the last rights issue they raised 192m.
Obviously that did mean dilution but the £192m helped secure the future of the co, so it was worth the swap.
Only numbers will tell you truth. Just requoting another member: Remember remember the 12th of November!!!! This won‘t be taken private. Basta!
Since you seem to be level headed and all, do you have any shred of evidence of Stroll shorting his own shares and controlling the sp? Or, is it all as usual in your honest(hopefully?) opinion? I do enjoy reading the BB of companies I'm invested in, be it full of sh*t, outlandish, full of insights or fully researched facts. Peace fella!
Rox, the point is your not fully invested anymore, but in spite of you thinking all these cynical things about Stroll, dilution, privatisation, stock manipulation etc etc, you say your going to buy back in.
If I mistrusted the management to the extent you do then I wouldn’t touch the co.
How about the fact he’s only just taken over a few months ago & doesn’t want the share price to get ahead of its real position, so he’s being professional & guarded at the moment.
Say they issued a real upbeat trading statement now, and the factory/factories got hit by another lockdown, he would look pathetic.
Maybe just maybe there’s nothing to say, so he’s saying nothing.
I think your edginess over your habit is getting to you,, I’m quite at liberty to take posters to task over posts, as they are to me.
I’m not the sensitive type, don’t tell the world my business, and choose my friends carefully, and they would agree one point is is that I would cause a argument in a empty house, if I believed something.
You’ve got what I call a ‘grasshopper mind’ jumping round losing money, bragging about losses, probably not telling the truth to your wife about your losses.
I may not be right but I’m consistent in my beliefs, the answer as to who is right or wrong will be answered in time, you seem to lack the ability to give certainly this company time.
Dunnie you have completely missed the point. You accused me of de-ramping AML and trying to be underhand. I reposted this to show I had the exact same opinion last month when I was fully invested.
Ehhhm “Hello” Earth calling Dunnie call it what you want but Stroll is controlling the share price ehhhm by selling shares at a higher price then no doubt buying them back at a lower price.... There has been no “fall out” he is keeping the price down IMO until he is ready and then he will announce good news and the price will go up and he will do another dilution IMO
The privatisation has been discussed in the board room for sure as a last ditch option and they have agreed however unlikely it would make sense to keep the share price down to an affordable level.
All IMHO of course and stop attacking people who post something you don’t agree with ffs you would cause trouble in an empty room mate.
Rox, even a broken clock is right twice a day.
No one is suggesting your stupid but even you must admit that yesterday you suggested Stroll was shorting his own companies stock, you tried to be cute in correcting it but left it in, now surely someone as knowledgeable as you knows that’s not ethical or legal, he’d get destroyed for that.
If he did another share dilution he would have to put more money alongside his consortium, if they didn’t he’d be shafting his own consortium, and the money would go into AM’s coffers.
If he wanted the company for himself why bring Wolff in for 40m, are you saying he would ‘pick & choose’ who still had a piece of the new pie, corruption.
If he wanted the co for himself he could have put it into administration with a pre-packaged deal to buy it back, but the Geely may step in & spoil the party by starting a bidding war.
Here’s why it’s such a no-no taking it private, it would probably cost say 2bn with costs.
So Stroll go’s to the bankers and they would ask him & his family to list all security available, houses, trust funds, everything.
That means he would be putting everything at risk, rich people ringfence assets, making sure if one business go’s wrong it doesn’t take everything with it, that’s why they’re rich.
As a small example you wouldn’t get a millionaire to buy a million pounds worth of AM shares, us wanna be millionaires take big risks, proper ones would look at AM shares and probably think a 25k stake is all it’s worth risking.
I believe Stroll can achieve all his worldly ambitions in AML and protect his assets at the same time, the only thing at stake is his investment & reputation, he ain’t risking everything by taking it private.
At the bottom of this post is a copy of my post 1 month ago when I was fully invested.
Everyone here has got an opinion and nobody can second guess Stroll. When he stitched us all up on the second RI he showed his true colours as far as I am concerned. I have every intention of reinvesting in AML but will be back out at 75p+ for the reasons below IMHO

RE: Also31 Aug 2020 17:29
IMO Strolls is going to privatise AML for sure but he will squeeze one more share dilution beforehand so this is his plan....
One really good RNS soon then another to create some hype taking us to 85p+
RI 84p 10% reduced to 70p (Accountants like round numbers).
Then drop back (as usual) to 50p+
