Evening all, see that trade at 8.14, it wasnt for £276 it was actually £12k, ouch. I decided to sell up, I really did want to see how the story ends but also wanted to rationalise and make a break from the past. I'm sure if I'd had a pound for every time I've checked in here I'd have doubled my money, probably not healthy that. Hopefully my selling up will result in 'THE' rns we've all been waiting for and it'll be a £1 by lunch tomorrow, no bitterness from me, I made my call, can live with it and have made up for it elsewhere....I won't be that poster that returns to mock or run poster or the company down, not my style....although I might do for those extreme rampers that turn up occasionally but that'll be just for fun so dont take me seriously.
Anyway, it's been emotional but I wish current and past LTH, whether you post or not, the best of health and good luck for your investments, remember its it's only money but try not to lose it all!

Thanks for the update
I contacted Amigo and the company secretary, Nick Beal, replied with the following email:
Dear
Thank you for your questions. I have answered them under the following headings:
Mr McColl
We stated that, “The Board expects that Jim McColl will be formally appointed a non-executive Director of Amigo, once the new issue of shares, described below, has been completed.” That remains the Board’s expectation. In the meantime he is continuing to work for Amigo as a consultant looking at RTO opportunities. We did not state that Jim would be appointed immediately following the issue of new shares. We will update the market once any decision regarding changes to the Board have been made.
Shareholders
It is a shareholder’s responsibility to report significant holdings to the FCA and to us. When we receive a TR1, these are published as soon as reasonably practicable. We note that there have been TR1s published some time after the relevant interests had been acquired, but this is not as a result of a delay by Amigo. We don’t believe any single shareholder reached the reporting requirement as a result of the recent placement.
Regards
Nick Beal
Company Secretary

Well, at least the spread has narrowed, so I guess that's something. And it's good to see some larger trades. No mention of JM yet as he was supposed to become a director effective from the second placing. WIll that be on the 8th of May?
Looking forward to seeing what they have planned.
Who has the placing shares? Would love to see a TR1.

A 100m new shares on the market and a 40% spread. Nobody will touch this with a barge pole now. How are they going to churn all those new shares if nobody is buying? Once again, they've screwed it up as they always do. Will be heading sub 0.20p again imo.

We were priced to de-list and it looks like we're still priced to de-list. With another 75m shares likely being added after the GM next week, I fear we will be stuck under the 0.25p for a very long time. I think having 2 placings was a huge mistake. Should've just had just 1 after the GM. Zak Mir was right, this company gives you good news along with a rug pull, every single time. Oh well, it is what it is. I'll be selling next week after the GM.

Yeah, it's easy to forget some trolls even have their own newspaper columns. Unbelievable when you think about it. It's so obvious what they're trying to do.
Anyway back to Amigo. The GM is in 2 weeks. I've already voted. If you don't own shares then you can't vote so get buying and make sure you have your say if you want the company to continue. Proxy votes to be received no later than 1:30pm on Friday 26th of April.
Haven't seen much selling here and the price is still above the placing price so I'm guessing that's a good sign. I'm feeling that an RTO target has already been found. No other reason to raise the cash if that wasn't the case. Just my take on the reason for the placing.
Anyone going to the GM?
GLA holders new and old alike! 🥂
If the 'gutter press' can't get a story from the horse's mouth they will simply make one up.

No wonder he skipped the interview and refused to reschedule. He probably realised that the anonymous City Spy has no interest in conducting a normal interview. Well done JM! You did the right thing!

5 April 2024
Amigo Holdings PLC
("Amigo" or the "Company")
Admission of Shares
Amigo announced on 28 March 2024 that it had conditionally placed a total of 23,766,400 new ordinary shares of 0.25p ("First Placing Shares") at an issue price of 0.25p per share. The conditions for the First Placing Shares have been satisfied and they were admitted to listing on the premium segment of the Official List and to trading on the main market for listed securities of the London Stock Exchange effective at 8.00 am today.
The First Placing Shares rank pari passu in all respects with the existing ordinary shares of the Company with ISIN GB00BFFK8T45.
The notice of General Meeting to approve the issue of the 71,252,800 Second Placing Shares is expected to be posted to shareholders next week.
Words and phrases defined in the announcement dated 28 March 2024 will have the same meanings in this announcement.
Total Voting Rights
Following Admission, the total number of ordinary shares in the Company with voting rights is 499,100,160 and this figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.

Placing shares will come onto the market tomorrow. I wonder if we'll see a TR1? Certainly would create some confidence if there was.
Can't argue with that. I'm willing to wait a month, or three.
All I know, with near certainty, is that it's all or nothing at all.
In a shock twist, not a lot happened full stop.
Let's see where the wind takes us today. Methinks not a lot will happen before 10am.
GLA
If Reward Rate is being sold off as part of the wind down, does anything stop Jim Mccoll buying it, then doing a RTO of Amigo which then allows RR to be listed, and off they go again so to speak? It would seem to suit the profile of Jim to have another lending business under his umbrella, and he certainly has the money to make it work. All subject to FCA approval of course.

The timing of the RNS wasn't the best, with it being released just before Easter when everyone is winding down for the break, and at the end of the tax year too. Had the RNS been released after the 6th of April, I think we would've seen an even stronger rise. I'm hoping interest will build here over the coming weeks, as we get more hints and nudges about where we're going. Thursday's volume 3x that of the first placing, so any overhang won't last and we should start to see a steady rise. Always a good sign when a share rises and finishes above the placing price.
Good morning All I was totally obliterated by Amigo. Just seen the headlines and hope is well hope
I know I lost out big time and was looking hoping for Amigo to return , but at least we had a blue day yesterday
Let’s hope it continues and we see sp rising near the 1p soon
GLA
Very please for all who have held and kept the faith, its looking up amigo after months of uncertainty and for me the risk reward is back on. I still believe there is a gap in the market for amigo to fill and take business away from the loan sharks. Early days but sounds positive.
Jim M is Scotland's richest man. He is worth a few Bob, but obvs.he seems to think amigo worth getting involved in.
Wish I has bought at 0.1!!

#AMGO Billionaire James McColl OBE has been appointed as strategic consultant for Amigo Holdings Plc.
He’s a Scottish businessman who is the chairman and chief executive officer of Clyde Blowers.
Good morning to you, Twin Brother.
With luck we might get some of our money back!
ATB, FG
Morning Bro et all, well that's a turn up for the books. Surely theres got to be something there, everyone has had plenty of chance to consider future options, I doubt he's just turned up to have a look.
Gla
I think this paragraph is important:
'The additional capital raised by the Placing will be used to provide working capital to Amigo to pay primarily the costs of this transaction and fund some of the costs associated with exploring potential reverse takeover opportunities including consultancy costs. Based on the Company's current estimates of the transaction costs and other ongoing costs, the capital raised from the issue of the new Ordinary Shares is expected to extend the runway, until Amigo itself requires further funding, for up to a year.'
Saying that Amigo could be listed for another year. We were priced for delisting soon and now it looks like it will continue for the forseeable future.
Bond-Investments. I've absolutely no sense as to whether we will actually see the share price rise, but here's hoping!

Less than either of those prices a big fat zero
The ask jumped late afternoon on Friday from 0.20p to 0.25p with no visible buy to cause the spike. Possible large unreported purchase, perhaps?
Worth a punt
There's been some heavy selling of late, but I've just added another 200,000 shares. Small beer, but who knows how much 800,000 shares will be worth in the near future?
32p or £32k - That is the Question!
Looks like our mystery buyer has returned. £500 a throw ain't much but he/she seems to be mopping-up a lot of shares.

Agreed. It's crazy they can't male this firm work with all the scrutiny it's had now
Really annoying that Amigo have fallen to these levels when all over the news today is illegal money lenders charging crazy sums & violence. This industry needs regulated lenders like Amigo but the FCA & government have messed up big time forcing the less fortunate to back street loan sharks. I find it a sad state of affairs which could have been avoided.
Because there are still rampers out there who will buy them...
Whoever sold that 2057436 today bought on the 18th of March for 0.145p (last Monday) and made an £82 loss after selling at 0.141p. Funny how the bid remained at 0.15p though and yet on Friday, the ask moved from 0.20p to 0.25p but no buy came up. What's that about?
Strange. I just managed to reply to a post that no longer exists?!?
