How I am wrong, but I would have the success of the Slovenia claim at 20% success Vs 80% failure.
"Okay thank you as the RNS states today is the ex divident date but says you will be paid on the 14th ‘shareholders of record on the 2nd June’ which is tommorow"
You need to do a bit of reading about dividends and understand about settlement dates etc
You may be licking your wound over your losses Gazzleberry, i won't take your comments personally.
After a quick google, there's a t+2 on transactions, so anyone who sells after the ex dividend date will be entitled to the upcoming dividend.
Don't be silly....who would receive the divy in that case.....it has to be either the seller or the buyer of the shares today....and I have bought big...but am not expecting the divy on today's purchases...I wish lol
The clue is that AMC is XD today.....simples. Ant seller today will still receive the dividend.
It's not every day you get a dividend on AIM yet alone a company selling all its assets and turning into a cash shell, wind your neck in.
Most people on here will be experiencing this first time.
This by no means a basic. Rather ridiculing, why don't you inform.
Interesting point jam96p, so anyone who sold today won't be on record tomorrow?
Therefore won't receive a dividend?
Still think we may have over £5m cash in bank.....surely it wouldn't do any harm for us shareholders/owners to be privy to the exact figure of cash in bank currently! and some sort of a conceptual/theoretical example of what the BOD would like to be doing with it.....just saying.....why always plowing through smoke with mirrors...lol
Idiot: ==== assets
AMC only have assets of $5,000,000 in cash.
$5,000,000 = £4,025,500 (based on an exchange rate of $1 = £0.8051)
If AMC delist and returns the remaining cash to Shareholders we get
0.29pps : (£4,025,500 /1,392.87m shares in issue)
Vs
0.175pence per AMC shares + potential added value: AST deal
Okay thank you as the RNS states today is the ex divident date but says you will be paid on the 14th ‘shareholders of record on the 2nd June’ which is tommorow
"As an AST holder I'd like to say its a very good deal. In fact you're darn lucky to be getting the opportunity to join our elect crew at all and you should grab it with both hands before the offers withdrawn."
I'd rather AST does withdraw its offer and saves itself humiliation. No response since November '22 should give you an indication of what management and now, S/H think of this offer.
Hello All,
If I cash up my shares today have been a long term holder here for many years do you still get the divident payment as the SP reflects that?
Plain rejection and no need to ponder…can see many enquiries coming this is just the first one and DAY 1!
Sold up this morning at 0.26p, I did wonder whether or not I was being hasty. Think I’ve made the right call but will watch with interest.
"Ascent Resources shares rose 10% to 3.92p each on Thursday, while Amur Minerals shares plummeted 88% to 0.22p each" . Typo in first post.
you must be joking i have shares in ast and it has been a miserable failure.
ramping about gas in slovenia and then a switch to cuba and bull**** about a compensation claim!
age
Ach on Thursday, while Amur Minerals shares plummeted 88% to 0.22p each.
As an AST holder I'd like to say its a very good deal. In fact you're darn lucky to be getting the opportunity to join our elect crew at all and you should grab it with both hands before the offers withdrawn.
Better refuse an RTO and delist and get a second divi. Keep the cash and reject AST shares..why give away cash for AST? If people want AST let them buy the shares. Did AST ever respond to emails?
The Board of AST are not getting my shares to get hold of the cash as AMC shareholders want it!
AGE
Bids back up, very few sellers on the back of that RNS.
indeed, it will be rejected!
there is a saying that “once bitten twice shy”
i was stitched up by the board or former board of ast with their bull**** about gas in slovenia and the share price has just gone down and down so they switched to cuba!
age
Offer will get rejected outright swiftly..RNS incoming shortly!
Maybe they are trying to flush out another bidder?
AST have had no reply from the Board of AMC which is to be expected as they do not even respond to AMC shareholders!
