Its bad enough already what's happened to our investment and to be honest ive kind of written it off now, i just don't want to see the directors walk away with the majority of the $35m in 90 days time at shareholders expense and thats the kind of sickening feeling im getting right now
That's roughly about 10% off the gross receipt - ample downside to cover any exchange rate risk over the quarter and /or cover the the admin. costs involved it seems - sasa.
Its so frustrating why does he not say exactly how much of that $35m will be paid out as dividends no he say's "a significant amount" and then why say "at this moment in time" does that mean something is going to change 30 days down the road or 90 days down the road.
Blumagnet, Same here. I wouldn't trust RY as far as I could throw him, as for averaging down. I'm no longer a believer in that. Knowing my luck, some other nonsense would appear the day after I purchased more. I've wasted a lot of money and more than 13 years with this dreadful, dreadful dog of a company.
Robin says in the interview out of the $35m Amc will receive, A significant amount from that will be paid out as dividends to share holders, about 1.8p at this point in time
Its making me think if we will even get close to that figure in 90 days
Sorry everyone ive lost all confidence in This guy and i just dont trust a word he says anymore

I suppose the Russian Sub-commission on the Control of Foreign Investments could decide that the offer is too little and demand Sviblov increases the offer...
I'll believe it when I see it from a regime tht's currently threatening to destroy nucler powrer stations...
Blackrhino
Thats the latesg it will get done.
I see svidlov quickly wrapping up paying us in cyprus.
"He (RY) has done a great job with it" put in £100m and get out £35m... I'd hate to see what he classes as a bad job

You say you think we’ll be paid in Sept. RY saying (proactive interview) target is Nov 1. Hopefully that’s a better guess than usual target dates we’ve been given.
There's a lot of scaremongering going on regarding whether the dividend will actually be paid, just to put this to bed, it couldn't be any clearer in the circular wording (governed by AIM rules).
"The Disposal price represents a significant premium to Shareholders compared to the market
capitalisation of the Company and it has committed to pay a special dividend of 1.8 pence per
share to be paid to Shareholders within 90 days of Completion."

look at the those very small AT trades, someone definitely controlling sp, judging the sentiment both here and the telegram group it seems they are resigned to the deal and most would agree to disposal. I think they will get 50% of vote for disposal now.
Kinross got around 25% value for their asset and it seems we will too. It was Svidlov who purchased Kinross too.
edit
anyone selling now either already has 95% loss...
Gazzleberry
anyone selling now either already has 95% or are crazy, you can make 40% on your holdings and keep your shares.
AMC are getting on 25% of the value of KM, the deal should go through with ease should shareholders agree. Svidlov will make a killing.
i think in sept we will be paid, i think the NAV will be around 2.4p per share once we get paid, look at current sp 1.35p.
I believe the vote needs over 50%, most of them that voted no last time it appears will accept offer. They know they have been shaken down by mafia (russia)
'Morning Manuel - yes, that's how the payment should be transferred following a 'yes' vote, in normal circumstances, agreed but these times are anything but normal, as we all know.
Salvaging something from this parlous state of affairs now is the best we can hope for - if the vote is 'No' again, then the end will come that much quicker, seemingly - not what us VLTHs ever anticipated that's for sure! Keep well, too - sasa.

Kinross was paid in 2 months of first deal, had the russian authorities not got involved changing the deal one can speculate it would have been done quicker.
Rem our ceo said within 3 months of announcing our deal, wont be surprised if its completed in september.
Voting yes, still seething that RY and BOD dragged their feet so much last year that cost us the opportunity to get out at least even but it feels like its this or nothing.
Thanks for nothing RY
My AVG is 2.7p i Will never recover all my money?
RR2022, anywhere eye watering loss for you! Wow, you must be the worst investor on LSE, everywhere you show up the stock just goes down!
Sorry to all holders here, word of warning, be wary when RR2022 shows up in a share, his track record is frittered with loss after loss.
What silly reasoning.
I've decided to vote against the offer. If the big man wants AMC, why doesn't he buy enough shares on the open market? Or is he allowed to get it virtually free?
Hi Sasa,I would think the money will just ping from one Cypriot account to another on the same keyboard, as for the fat lady,we’ll perhaps give her a slap on the Harris and another £50 to just keep. Singin ‘til we’ve got our wedge.
Hope you and yours are well Sasa,we always knew that we would be here at the end,but never thought the end would be so sorry.
