With an RTO update due by end of April, we should be getting an RNS by tomorrow. However, as this Board seems to disregard its own deadlines, don’t book a day off work or cancel any planned holidays!
Unfortunately, it wasn't even a deadline, it was just an estimate of time. Which means it's pretty worthless as information (particularly with these shares). They'll tell us when it's done, that's all you can say. You just have to look at the last announcement. They signed the deal in Jan, yet left us hanging until the last few days worrying about a delisting before telling us. Pretty much sums it up!
I wonder how many of the Board live in the BVI so they are used to a slow pace of life.
If I was on a Board of Directors and I acted in the manner they do then I would feel ashamed!
They clearly do not bother to read the LSE AMC forum as if they did then they would have got around to providing shareholders with tax guidance re the tax implications of the Board's decision to pay a special dividend.
If you are a frustrated shareholder and I am sure there are a lot more than the 42 who have already contacted me then please contact me to join the AMC Shareholders Share Action Group via gneissifyoucangetit@gmail.com
There is no point complaining on here as it gets you no where you have to take positive action by joining the group and then collectively we can combine our knowledge and experience to exert pressure on the AMC Board.
If you want an clear demonstration of what can be achieved then read the RNS's and posts on the Scirocco Energy PLC (SCIR) forum where GP Jersey the largest shareholder plus 120 members of our Share Action Group managed to get an 80.18% vote in favour of a Members Voluntary Liquidation (MVL) in order to return the remaining cash as well as future additional proceeds from the sale of Ruvuma to shareholders.
This was achieved despite the Chairman advising shareholders to vote against the resolution and he only got 19.82% of the votes cast by a poll.
Power to AMC shareholders!
