Majoroak - I still don’t believe for one second that the BoD are interested in a buyout. They want this to succeed on its own. Not that a buyout or JV wouldn’t make them all very rich, but nothing compared to what going it alone can do with the right agreements and financing
Barnet ?
What has any company market value or size have to do with a lithium hydroxide processing plant that has a set CAPEX, clear strategy and access via Austealian Government to the lithium fields on the Australian continent ?
EG "if" Pilbara Minerals come to Tees Valley Lithium and say they have 'x' of Lithium Spodumene to process to lithium sulphate to reduce shipping costs, BUT they want 50% of the £2B , would you turn it down ?
That offer has nothing to do with the current size or value of the company.
Its a pure chemical processing play.
Feed spodumene in get lithium hydroxide out.
30+ Gigafactories in Europe want hydroxide or even carbonate BUT THEY NEED IT AND QUICK !
Seriously do not understand why a JV Buyout is not majorly in play right now ?
Madness not too fund it from Oz from a large miner ?
Access to the EU and batteries that pass the new EU trading regs taking out brexit issues !!!
Interesting that you seem to think funding potential is linked to market cap. I think it’s linked to ability to deliver and demand for product. Demand for product is high, and growing, and ability to deliver is linked to funding (which those who demand the product can supply) and competency of leadership.
Personally highly confident in a successful outcome.
I looked at this again yesterday. It was pumped on twitter. Buyers are already down 20% today. I cannot see how a company of this size can fund anything like the plans here. Nice idea but it would be a miracle. So as they say on Dragons Den....I am out.
UK AUSTRALIA LITHIUM NEWS.
https://www.londonstockexchange.com/news-article/ALK/first-lithium-sulphate-plant-study/16095046
Alkemy Capital Tees Valley Lithium news.
"the model uses a long-term lithium sulphate price of $10,000/t, a long term SC6 price of $1,500/t and a long-term lithium hydroxide price of $25,000/t"
Based on the statistics of an average from year 2017 to 2022, the lithium sulphate price quoted here is below the current demand price expected as both demand for lithium and production in mining both increase.
The balance for useable lithium hydroxide will still NOT BE ENOUGH by quite a large tonnage by 2027 more likely 2030 as projects like here seem to be under GLOBAL FINANCIAL FUNDING pressures.
It is not just the UK in general which is being hit hard by inflation.
I STILL hold my position here , awaiting he issue of equity scheduled for August approx and I assue this forward looking announcement from Australia which WILL add meat to the OEM's requirements to get their own funding in place now knowing Port Hedland Stage 4 Wave assessment annunced today.
I think the issue will be actioned now and the next step of funding / Traxys feedstock supply will be announced. Then funding for Teesside site , knowing the feedstock from Australia is a go, will come in.
All looking good. The process is beginning to get the building blocks in place.

theo you sly schmuck, i had heard your messiah and his **** are now also looking at lithium, so i assume now that they have found an alternative re supplier to pensana, your new remit is to spread fud here. it won't work, why ? because all those old arguments you are reusing here have already been proven to be lies on the pensana forum ~ however the facts about your unmensch messiah are well publicised and proven to be true in several courts of law, so if you really want to read all about him and his chabad war mongers here, keep it up !
"The Olaroz Lithium Facility2 achieved record annual production of 16,703 tonnes, ~30% higher YoY and from the prior record in FY22
Record revenue at Olaroz increased 102% to total US$592.2 million on sales of 13,186 tonnes of lithium carbonate including US$12.3 million of revenue generated from by-product sales
Average realised pricing for lithium carbonate almost doubled YoY to US$43,981/t FOB3. The gross cash margin of 89% remains robust"
This is phase one of Alkemys / Tees Valley Lithium planned production from one train.
Alchemy & Australian ties clearly still relivent and alive.
Please do your own working out and dont base investing on any post - including me - I am just bringing you the bottom line potential.
Do not trust anyone !!!
Oh good, Theorist is back! My favourite time of the month 😂
I can tell you for free there will be no feedstock this year. Or next. Alkemy exists only to line PA's pockets, a fact that too many fail to understand. Just like Pensana, before that Berkeley Energia, before that Murchison and before that Leyshon. Youtube PA's interviews with all four. Fantastical promises of colossal riches, the same script, just the name changes. And the outcome? Pi's get wiped. It will happen here, PA will keep dangling the bait, trouser his fees and option profits, he can probably keep this going for another two or three years. The feedstock will not arrive but of course there will be an explanation or an excuse, they'll probably announce that they've actually found a better deal but put things back to the spring.
Take a break and wait bunsen. there’s no need to be in things if you’re not certain. you know this, but can’t do it
It’s not AIM…
I know but he was probably only back in again here last week 😂 Absolutely hilarious trading strategy…
funnily enough i’m looking at transferring another £100k lol. fed up of this total s h i t e. everything goes down cause aim is here simply to pay ceos. one step forward, one step back. absolute ******* i n g b o l l o c k s
He will be transferring his money to a high interest account now
It’s just bunsen getting bored, don’t worry
😂 something in the world of business hasn’t happened according to a pi’s timeline, i am shocked! calm down - it’s hardly gone to ****, we’re just still waiting for feedstock.
What a pile of s h I t this is ffs
Whilst ALK has had a few quiet months I don’t think this will be lasting for much longer. I have an automotive background and the word I’m getting back is that all the OEMs are very keen to secure processed lithium in their supply chains and, just as importantly, without any reliance on China. As such many of them will have ALK/TVL on their radar given that there isn’t enough current capacity to go round. It only needs a few of the mid market OEMs or maybe only one of the majors to firmly put ALK on the map as a front runner at which time the current market cap of c£10m will become a distant memory.
Definitely expecting feedstock before end of September if they’re going to stick to the plan of producing around Q2/3 2025.
Must be close to news now I think
A second major UK supply of lithium roars into sight. First British Lithium with Imerys, now Cornish Lithium backed by the UKIB, EMG and Techmet. JLR may be able to source from the UK for its gigafactory. .....
Quite a lot more on the CUSN board.
