Hi saint-tropez.... TV news is fantastic publicity and you
obviously know this company very well....
Speculative money will no doubt increase the SP short term
The company will only really 'take off' or 'rocket' in my view when
3rd party checked Assays from the current drilling program can confirm new Gold
2nd great Friday in a row .... GLA Rup
I see that you are also on the rollercoaster at VAL saint. Hopefully a huge day for us both on Monday with both of these stocks!
LSE volume the trading day before the placing dwarfed the placing never mind the volume on Acquis Exchange. This is all about what lies ahead with a major exploration campaign underway at the bonanza grade Clogau gold mine which lots of people are about to learn about on ITV this weekend. GLA.
Thanks for your insight Simms
No need for the insult Aba, just trying to be reasonable, I’m already invested.
placing shares at .275 are already tradeable? My guess they are in pretty sticky hands. I think those buying into the placing will be looking at multiples of todays current valuation and the £1,3m extra de-risks Alba considerably and gives a good window to prove up Clogau, which is almost certainly going to be the case. Best thing to do is open a gold mine where one was already present and there is plenty of anecdotal information of gold being found.
It will nice if you get yourself back into the saloon beautyP and get a beauty makeover because you look scary, sound scary and scared of your own shadows.
They tried that BS yesterday. If you missed the 0.30s then time to get in before we break 0.5p and head on to 1p.
But won’t we see a bit of drop to .30s again next week when placing at .275 comes in? Sounds like a lot of pump here right now although asset is great medium to long term.
Alba has been drilling all this month and have around £1.5m in the kitty having raised at a price of .275 earlier this year so the price today in the grand scheme of things is pretty close to the placing so very early days for investors. This will see Alba through to the results and its pretty commonsense that if they drill enough from inside the mine shaft they will find more veins of Clogau gold. Given the massive multiple in the value of Clogau welsh gold compared to ordinary gold and the high demand for welsh gold used for wedding rings then if they do find decent levels then the maths is quite interesting. Certainly having taken stakes in gold mines all over the world the biggest risk is political and you would think Wales is probably reasonably safe and you would think restarting the mine commercially would be welcomed. There was talk of 500k ounzes which is pretty big if the gold could carry a 30x multiple. Even 2-3x multiple is massive due to the relatively fixed costs of production.
You sound surprised..
Clogau has a dozen or so shops in Wales, a couple in London, I believe, and stockists world wide..
Favoured by Royalty for generations it commands a great premium..
"Huge" regional gold potential = huge upside potential, for each investor to decide for him/her-self what it may mean in terms of a target price.
He's right. It's there in black and white. https://www.clogau.co.uk/aboutclogau/welshgold.aspx
This gold mine is a gold mine. Even has it's own jewelry company and brand named after it as well as a major link to the UK Royal Family. Brilliant gold investment.
Saundi,
I believe Simms may be correct in his assertion !
“At present, Welsh gold can be valued up to 30 times more than standard world gold”
i was suspicious but was after a quick google
https://www.clogau.co.uk/aboutclogau/welshgold.aspx#:~:text=At%20present%2C%20Welsh%20gold%20can,to%20fetch%20about%20%C2%A39%2C000.
so maybe a bit of chinese whispers but sounds pretty interesting when costs can be more than normal gold mine. They must be finishing the drilling very soon so maybe early indications sometime next month. certainly seems compelling proposition.
Simms, I believe your arithmetic is faulty there, Welsh gold commands a premium of 2-3x the price of normal gold, NOT 30x!!
I hope that isn't a bit of willfully ignorant ramping, good sir!
Is it confirmed it was ITV news?
Two price monitoring extentions..
Cool. Could be another reason...
It’s nearing 2pm with 2 and a half hours to go followed by itv news at 6pm........rns today??
Just noticed they replied to my twitter enquiry looking good here gla
Not far off the 5year high :-)))
Need to also bear in mind Welsh gold is the rarest in the world and can command to to 30x the value of standard gold. dont ask me know but if an ounze of welsh gold could be worth $60k i will have some of that! Certainly backing a mine that has already been historically mined is a bit of a no brainer in terms of finding gold so more a case if they can follow strike or go down. With all the worldwide issues buying some gold closer to home makes some sense.

Saw your brief banter with VF earlier...Any other shares you feeling good about mate? Please let me know :-)
